The Perseverance of the Saints

Many people profess to believe in Jesus but when their faith is tested then they have no endurance, no perseverance. They easily give up and they walk away from Jesus. Only those who endure until the end will be saved, that is the QUALITY OF THE SAINTS. They persevere, we read in Revelation 14:12 ”Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.” those people who obey Jesus, because He spoke the words of God and they keep their faith in Him, they endure, they do not give up, because without faith it is impossible to please God.

We read in Hebrews 11:6 “without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.“ Many people pray and they don't receive an answer and then they just give up. They say:”God didn't show up!” They didn't trust Him!

God rewards those who diligently seek Him. Only those who endure until the end will win the prize of eternal life. The apostle James wrote in James 1:5 “ But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But HE MUST ASK IN FAITH WITHOUT ANY DOUBTING, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.7 For let not that man expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,” Those who go to God BELIEVE that He is, they trust Him, they endure even though they see nothing happening, they trust Him. They KNOW that He will not leave them, they KNOW that He will not let them down and therefor they ENDURE, they keep on trusting although there is no sign that God has heard their prayer.

If you do not endure you will not receive anything. You need to endure in your faith. You need to hold on! If you pray, wait expectantly. God has heard your prayer and He will answer, but if you do not endure you will not receive. IF YOU DO NOT KEEP ON OBEYING JESUS YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE THE PRIZE OF ETERNAL LIFE.

People are so concerned about themselves. They just pray:”God give me this, God give me that,” It is all about themselves, its not about the kingdom of God whereas Jesus said:”Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these other things will be added unto you.” Make God your father. Your Father will never let you down. Your earthly father might let you down but our heavenly Father cannot. MAKE HIM YOUR FATHER! Trust Him and you will never be disappointed. IF YOU ARE NOT SERIOUS ABOUT GOD, DON'T THINK HE WILL ANSWER YOUR PRAYER! You need to go to him with faith and with trust and with perseverance. Those who endure until the end, they will receive what was promised!

Forgiven - Record Cleared

This world does not have much mercy. Once a criminal has served his sentence then his record remains against his name for ever. When we come to Jesus and accept Him as our Lord then He forgives our past sin and He remembers it no more. There is no record, it is not held against us. We read in Hebrews 10:16 “16“THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THEM AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS IN THEIR HEART, AND UPON THEIR MIND I WILL WRITE THEM,” He then says,17“AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE.” - forgiven and forgotten! Cleared!

That is how Jesus clears us if we come to Him with true repentance. But then we need to turn away from sin, SIN NO MORE, do not go back to our previous lifestyle. Do not go back to sinning because then there is a terrible expectation of the wrath of God. We read in verse 26”For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27but a certain terrifying expectation of judgment and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES.”

If we go back to sin, if we go back to our previous lifestyle we can only expect severe judgment of God. Verse 36:”For YOU HAVE NEED OF ENDURANCE, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.(that is eternal life, we must endure to receive eternal life)37FOR YET IN A LITTLE WHILE, HE WHO IS COMING WILL COME, AND WILL NOT DELAY. 38BUT MY RIGHTEOUS ONE SHALL LIVE BY FAITH; AND IF HE SHRINKS BACK, MY SOUL HAS NO PLEASURE IN HIM.” If we decide to follow Jesus we must not look back, we must not shrink back but in gratitude to Him we must live in holiness and in obedience.

We expect our record to be cleared but then we must also forgive those who have sinned against us and not remember what they have done to us or else we will not be forgiven. And that is why Jesus taught us to pray:”forgive us as we HAVE FORGIVEN those who have trespassed against us.”

Let us in gratitude endure and serve Jesus in holiness, obey Him and maintain the hope of eternal life because we will only win that prize if we SIN NO MORE and endure until the very, very end.

The Secret of Prayer

We receive many requests of people that say to us:”Please pray for me!”

I want to share with you a principle of prayer. Let us read in Job 42:10”And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job WHEN HE PRAYED FOR HIS FRIENDS, and the Lord increased all that Job had twofold.”

The one that prays for others is the person who gets blessed. If you want to be blessed, start praying for others. It is more blessed to give than to receive!

Fighting the devil

If you decide to follow Jesus, you immediately enter into battle with satan and all his demons and he will do everything possible to get you to turn away from Jesus. He will tempt you, he will try you, he will try to kill you, he will try to demoralize you, he will attack you, he will try to seduce you, he will try anything to destroy you because then you have become his enemy. Many believers do not experience resistance from the devil because they have never started following Jesus. If you are serious about following Jesus and having eternal life, you will be in constant battle.
I assure you I am in constant battle. The devil continuously tries everything to destroy me. He has tried many times to kill me, he has made me sick to death, he has tried to kill me on the road, he has tried to demoralize me, coming into my dreams. He attacks me through false Christians, he attacks me all the time and I get worried when the devil does not attack me, either in my body or through other people or whatever other means the devil can find to come against me. Because if the devil is not against you then you are not a threat to him anymore.
Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against evil forces and principalities in the air. If you are not in the battle then you are not following Jesus. Just start living holy, just start obeying Jesus and you will see that friends will leave you, people will hate you. Those who you thought were your best friends, they will attack you and stick a knife into you. Your family will desert you, your wife, your spouse might leave you, your children might turn on you, the devil will be against you but in Jesus we are more than conquerors.
If you stay focused on Jesus, you will defeat the devil and there is only one way to get into the Kingdom of Heaven and that is you go in fighting. You don’t go into Heaven in a rocking chair. If you’ve got no resistance of the devil, if he is not trying to kill you and destroy you, then you are no threat to him, you are no problem. Get serious with Jesus and you will have the devil and all his demons against you. BUT the power of the Holy Spirit you will overcome. You need to be praying all the time, day and night.
We do not sleep through one night. We get up and pray because we are attacked by the devil but we are also visited by God. There is only one way dear friend, get into the battle or you will not win. Get into the fight or you will not win the prize. If you are not being attacked by the devil, then you are no threat to him. Then maybe you are even on his side, he is quite happy with you. Get into the fight and endure until the very end if you want to have eternal life.

Ever Present Watching You

Many people say they cannot experience God. Where is God? God is ever present, He is watching you, every thought, every deed is written down. He knows all about you, He cares for you. Jesus cares for you. He is right there with you and He wants to come into your life and give you peace, He wants to give you eternal life. He is knocking at the door of your heart and He wants to come in and have mealtime with you. He wants to feed you with the utmost best. He wants to give you eternal life but you need to invite Him in. You must make yourself aware of Him. Cry out to Him, invite Him into your life. Ask forgiveness for your sins and stop sinning and then obey Him, obey His Words as written in the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and as you DO as what is pleasing to Him, you will experience peace, like you’ve never had in your entire life. Jesus is watching you, He cares for you, He loves you.
Do you care for Him? Are you making yourself aware of Him. Seek Him with all your heart and He will become REAL to you, more real than anything else. He will reveal Himself to you. You will see His Hand moving in your life. Jesus is watching you, God cares for you friend. Just invite Him in, He is waiting for you to open the door of your heart and invite Jesus in.

Never Disappointed

As long as you put your trust in yourself and in other people and other physical things, you will constantly be disappointed. The only One who is faithful is God, but all God’s promises are conditional. They depend on our obedience and our faithfulness to Him. If we BELIEVE IN JESUS and we OBEY HIM we will have eternal life. If we deny Him, He will certainly also deny us. God is faithful and if we put our trust in Him and stay faithful to Him, we will never be disappointed because then His blessings will be on us on our children and on everything that belongs to us that God has given us. Do not trust in people. Do not trust in people’s prophecies, in people’s wisdoms, in people’s promises, you will be disappointed.
Put your trust in Jesus, fully, trust Him, obey Him, wait on Him and you will never ever be disappointed.

They will not serve the MASTER

Many claim to be Christians, they say they believe in Jesus but they don't really know who Jesus is. Paul wrote in Colossians 1:15 “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16For in Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. (HE IS TALKING ABOUT JESUS) 17He is BEFORE ALL THINGS, and IN HIM ALL THINGS HOLD TOGETHER.18He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself might come to have first place in everything. 19For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven. 21And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, 22yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach— 23IF INDEED YOU CONTINUE IN THE FAITH firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard,”

That is JESUS! He is the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY! He is the image of God. People disregard Jesus, they will not serve Him as King as Lord, as Master. They will not submit themselves to Him and be part of the body of Christ because they do not realize who He is.

We read in Hebrews 1:8 God says of Him:” but of the Son he says:, THY THRONE, O GOD, IS FOR EVER AND EVER; AND THY RIGHTEOUS SCEPTRE IS THE SCEPTRE OF HIS KINGDOM.

9THOU HAST LOVED RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND HATED LAWLESSNESS; THEREFORE GOD, THY GOD, HATH ANOINTED THEE WITH THE OIL OF GLADNESS ABOVE THY COMPANIONS.

10AND, THOU, LORD, IN THE BEGINNING DIDST LAY THE FOUNDATION OF THE EARTH, AND THE HEAVENS ARE THE WORKS OF THY HANDS:

11THEY WILL PERISH; BUT THOU REMAINEST: THEY WILL BECOME OLD AS A GARMENT;

12AND AS A MANTLE SHALT THOU WILL ROLL THEM UP, AS A GARMENT, AND WILL ALSO BE CHANGED: BUT THOU ART THE SAME, AND THY YEARS WILL NOT COME TO AN END.”

People do not realize who Jesus really is and therefor they disregard Him. He is the Head but yet they disregard Him, they will not serve Him as Lord. They want salvation but they will not submit themselves to Jesus. He sent us the Holy Spirit to guide each and every one of us into that for which He has called us, people are not interested and that is why VERY, VERY FEW OF THOSE WHO CALL THEMSELVES CHRISTIANS ARE ACTUALLY PART OF THE BODY OF CHRIST! They do not know the ONE in whom they have believed, to them Jesus is not real. He is not their Lord, they do not honor Him. They do not serve Him, they do not obey Him they WILL NOT FOLLOW HIM. THEY THEMSELVES ARE THEIR OWN GOD! That is why He will say to so many of them:”Go away I never knew you!” because they served themselves, they never served Jesus.

Do you know who Jesus is? Do you know Him as LORD and do you serve Him as LORD? He IS the KING of kings and He IS the LORD of lords. Bow down before Him, seek Him, serve Him, worship Him. People worship people, they want fellowship with other people, they are NOT INTERESTED IN FELLOWSHIP WITH JESUS, FELLOWSHIP WITH THE LIVING GOD, because they don't know who He is. Do YOU know who Jesus is? Are you following HIM and are you giving Him the glory and the honor that is due to Him? Are you part of the body of Christ who is submitted to the MASTER and serving HIM, from the heart? Is Jesus your LORD?

Spiritually Alive

I woke up last night and the Holy Spirit said to me:”You need to be Spiritually Alive to follow Jesus. Many are not Spiritually Reborn.” We read in John 3:3”Jesus answered and said to him:”Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to Him:”How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born, can he?” Jesus answered:”Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I say to you, you must be born again. The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

We are all born of the flesh, we were once born BUT we need to be born of the Spirit of God to be able to communicate with God, to follow Jesus. Our spirit must come alive. We must be born of water and of the Spirit. Those who believe in Jesus must OBEY Him and be baptized in water and then receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit. THEY MUST BECOME SPIRITUALLY REBORN or else they cannot follow Jesus.

Jesus said that the person who is born of the Spirit is like the wind. Why is that? It is because he is led by the Spirit of God, not by his senses, not by his common sense, but he is tuned in to the Holy Spirit Who guides him so that he can do the will of God. MOST BELIEVERS ONLY BELIEVE IN JESUS BUT THEY HAVE NO COMMUNICATION WITH JESUS. THEY DON'T HEAR FROM HIM BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT SPIRITUALLY REBORN. They are spiritually dead. We must be reborn, spiritually, to be spiritual people in tune with the Holy Spirit of God, so that we can HEAR from the Spirit, be led by the Holy Spirit or else we cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven, as Jesus said in verse 5:”unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”

We need to be born of the Spirit. Repent and be baptized in water and seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Seek Jesus in prayer. Without prayer, you have no communication with him. You need to seek Him UNTIL you hear from Him and you will KNOW when you hear from Him, and if you haven't heard from Him, then you are not born of the Spirit! We need to be born of the Spirit to be able to follow Jesus. SEEK HIM, AND YOU WILL FIND HIM!

Are you winning the battle?

For those who believe in Jesus and are trying to follow Him their struggle is not against flesh and blood but it is against evil forces and principalities in the air that are trying to capture and destroy your soul. It is a spiritual warfare, it is not a physical warfare. The devil will use everything and anything in his power to destroy you, to make you sin, to get you to disobey God because then He knows you will end up in hell.

We cannot fight this battle on the physical level, on the level of the intellect, of our mind. That is why so many believers fail every time. They are defeated day by day, by the devil. Jesus sent us His Holy Spirit so that we can be equipped to not only withstand but also to defeat the devil and break down the kingdom of darkness. But if we do not have the Holy Spirit of Christ and if we are not led by the Holy Spirit we will be defeated all the time because WE BY OURSELVES ARE NO MATCH FOR THE DEVIL. We need the Holy Spirit of God in us to overcome, to overcome the desires of the flesh, to overcome the temptations of sin and the world, and also the plans of the devil. Because the Holy Spirit knows what the devil is planning and He will warn you, He will guide you, He will keep you out of trouble IF you follow Him, IF you stay focused on Jesus.

There is only one way to overcome and that is, GET FOCUSED ON JESUS, ask Him for His Holy Spirit to fill you and you must focus on Him all the time. Pray all the time and He will reveal Himself to you. He will guide you and you will overcome the devil, you will overcome sin, you will overcome the desires of the flesh because “THOSE WHO ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, THEY ARE THE SONS OF GOD!” There is no way that you can overcome the devil in your own power, you need the power of the Holy Spirit BUT you have to OBEY, you have to FOLLOW Him, you have t be FOCUSED on Him, you have to be PRAYING ALWAYS. You have to be praying in the Spirit so that you can overcome the evil spirits in the air, that are doing their level best to get you to end up in hell.

Are you winning this fight? Or are you trying on your own? Are you submitted to the Holy Spirit and following the guidance of the Holy Spirit? Are you focused on Jesus or are you defeated all the time? Those who OVERCOME WILL WIN THE PRIZE OF ETERNAL LIFE. Only overcomers will win the prize and not everybody will overcome.

Put on Christ

Those who have accepted Jesus have the power to become sons of God like Jesus Himself is Son of God and that is the purpose for Him coming to this earth, was to lead many sons to glory, to make them children of God. We read in Romans 8:29,30 ”For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE OF HIS SON, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren; and whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”

Those who have accepted Jesus have the power, the ability, to become children of God, sons of God but they must take on the likeness of Jesus, they must be conformed to the image of Jesus. Believers want salvation but they don't want to be like Jesus. They don't want to obey Jesus, they just want salvation because they don't want to go to hell. If we are not conformed to the image of Jesus, if we do not become like Him, then we will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Paul writes to Timothy, 2 Timothy 2:11,12” It is a trustworthy statement: For if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him; 12IF WE ENDURE, WE SHALL ALSO REIGN WITH HIM;  If we deny Him, He will also deny us;”

We must be faithful until the end, we must endure and follow Jesus. We must be transformed to the likeness of Christ. We cannot be part of the world, we must be separate unto God. We must be conformed to the likeness of Jesus Christ. Many believers have idols in this world, they follow after people, they read their biographies, they idolize them, they run after them. Their opinions are formed by the people of this world.

If we are not conformed to the image of Christ, if we do not talk like Him, live like Him, become like Him, we cannot become sons of God. We must be conformed to that image of Christ and if we obey the words of Jesus as written in the gospels and if we follow after Jesus we will be rejected by this world, we will be despised by the world, we will not fit into the world but then we will fit into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Are you being conformed to the image of Christ or do you look like the world? The modern day church looks like the world, it STINKS! It is not suitable for the Kingdom of Heaven. Can Jesus be seen in YOU and in ME?

Finding the right church

Many people are looking for a good church. There is no single good church. There is no single good man or woman who is worthy to be followed. When they said to Jesus:”Good Master,” He said: ”Nobody is good, only God is good.” We are called into relationship with God our Father. That is the only good relationship. Jesus brings us into relationship with the Father IF we obey His words. We must not seek the fellowship of people. We must seek the fellowship of God. Jesus calls us to discipleship, to follow Him and He brings us into relationship with our Father. He makes us children of God IF we LISTEN to His words and we obey them, because the words of Jesus are the words of God. (written in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John). He did not speak anything on His own – what He said were the words that God gave Him to give us, and those are the words of life. Our relationship must be with God our Father. Any other relationship is a deviation and a distraction.

Churches do not bring you closer to God. They have their own agenda. They are building their own empires. We must be disciples of Jesus who are following Him and who have come into relationship with God the Father through the Holy Spirit living in us and we must be bringing others into relationship with the Father. That is eternal life, knowing God the Father through Jesus Christ, through obedience to His words, NOT CHURCH! Church has got nothing to do with the Kingdom of Heaven. The real church, the Body of Christ, is those PEOPLE IN WHOM THE SPIRIT OF GOD DWELLS. We are a temple of the Holy Spirit in which God dwells IF we have been brought into fellowship with God through our obedience to Jesus.

Are you following Jesus? Have you come into relationship with God the Father, and are you bringing others into relationship with Him also?

The "My Salvation" Myth

Many believers wrongly think that salvation is a commodity, something that they own, like a ticket to heaven and they think that they cannot lose this ticket. There is no such ticket. Salvation is believing in Jesus, as the Son of God, OBEYING HIS WORDS, accepting Him as your Master and DOING WHAT HE COMMANDED US TO DO. Which is, to repent, turn away from sin, from pleasing yourself and to live in utter obedience to Him, to His words, to be baptized in water, to deny yourself , pick up your cross every day and follow Him; to live to please Him, constantly seeking His approval until the very end of your life. That is salvation.

Without Jesus there is no salvation. You need to be pleasing to Him for the rest of your life. It is not a possession, it's a relationship. It's not about reading the Bible, going to church, it is about Jesus KNOWING you and YOU knowing Jesus. Because He will say to many people in that day:”Go away I never knew you!” They never got into that relationship of obedience to Jesus.

Salvation is not a possession. It is not something that you can HAVE or LOSE. Either you are obedient and pleasing to Jesus until the very end of your life or you don't have salvation. Salvation is KNOWING the Savior and Him KNOWING YOU, and YOU following Him until the very, very end.

Which church? Which Jesus?

Most believers have an identity crisis. The first thing they want to know is:”Which church do you belong to?” And when I tell them that I belong to Jesus, then they are totally confused! Then they want to know:”Which Jesus?” There is only ONE Jesus, the living God.

But Churches have created their own Jesus, there is the Catholic Jesus and the Baptist Jesus and the Methodist Jesus. Every denomination and “non-denomination” has it's own Jesus, but they do not associate with Jesus, they associate with their denomination, because they DO NOT KNOW JESUS.

If you are not rejected by this world and scorned by this world like Jesus was scorned and rejected THEN YOU DO NOT BELONG TO THE RIGHT JESUS!

Churchians are not Christians are not children of God

The whole world is in the grip of the deception called churchianity. Churchianity is not Christianity. Churchianity makes people slaves of the church. Their loyalty is to the church, they belong to the church. You are hard pressed to find anybody who confesses to belong to JESUS. They all belong to a church. A Christian is a follower of Jesus, a person who has the Holy Spirit in him and who is led by the Spirit of God. It is a person who has repented from sin, he is not a sinner any more. He is led by the Holy Spirit and he does the will of his Father, God, he sins no more. He lives in relationship with his Father. He does not fellowship with churchians who called themselves Christians and in fact they are professing sinners.
The body of Christ  is holy, there are no sinners in the body of Christ, they are holy men and women who walk with God. Have you become a Child of God? Have you accepted  Jesus as your Lord and do you obey His Words? Do you follow Him and are you guided by His Spirit or are you  a churchian? Do you belong to the deception of church or have you become a Child of God who is led by the Spirit of God and does the will of God?

God will NEVER force you - The choice is OURS

God is good to everybody and He will never force us to obey Him. God demonstrated His character in Jesus Christ. He sent Him to this earth as a human and He never defended Himself. He came and He gave man the opportunity to either accept Him for who He was, the Lord of all, or to reject Him. Very few people accepted Jesus but to them He promised eternal life so that they can be with Him forever.
The rest rejected Him, they killed Him. Exactly the same God is offering us the opportunity to obey Him and to love Him and to spend eternity with Him but He will not force us. The CHOICE is OURS, if we want eternal life, if we want to spend eternity with God our Father, then we must accept Jesus, believe in Him, obey His Words, which are the Words of God and then He will give us eternal life. But if we are not interested, He will not force us and we will spend eternity away from Him.
He will not force us to stop sinning, but this is the judgment, Jesus said:  "That the Light has come into the world but man loved darkness more than Light for their DEEDS were evil."(John 3:19) The question is: Do we love the Light, do we love God or do we love evil because we are wicked and evil. God invites us to become CHILDREN OF GOD but then we must OBEY HIM. The choice is ours, where we spend eternity depends entirely on us.

Holy Spirit Baptism IS NOT the Gifts

The baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues was PROMISED TO ALL WHO BELIEVE IN JESUS, WHO REPENT AND WHO ARE BAPTIZED IN WATER. We read in Acts 2:38,39”And Peter said to them, “Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and YOU SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. 39“For the promise is for you and your children AND FOR ALL who are far off, as many as the Lord our God shall call to Himself.”

ALL THOSE WHO RECEIVE THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT DO SPEAK IN TONGUES.

The baptism in the Holy Spirit IS NOT THE GIFTS of the Holy Spirit. The baptism in the Holy Spirit is to edify the individual, it is the infilling of the Holy Spirit of that specific person. You become spiritually connected to God. He gives you a tongue by which you can communicate with God, speaking mysteries to Him. We read in 1 Corinthians 14:2”For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God; for no one understands, but in his spirit he speaks mysteries.”
The gifts of the Holy Spirit are for edification of the Body of Christ, not for the individual. The gifts of the Holy Spirit that Paul talks about in 1 Corinthians 12 only FOLLOW AFTER A PERSON WAS FIRST BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY SPIRIT with speaking in tongues. We see in 1 Corinthians 12:7 ” 7But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit FOR THE COMMON GOOD.” That is when the Body of Christ assembles, it is for the edification of the Body, not of the individual. The gift of speaking in tongues is different from the baptism in the Holy Spirit.

We read in verse 8”For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; 9to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another VARIOUS KINDS OF TONGUES, and to another the INTERPRETATION OF TONGUES.” That is distinct, different, from being baptized in the Holy Spirit. If a person is given a tongue and he speaks that tongue, he does not understand what he is saying, and the tongue is not translated, IT IS INTERPRETED. That person might be speaking in a known language WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING IT. I have spoken in a known language and people have asked me whether I know that language. I did not even know that I was speaking in that language, but that is a once off, on the occasion, for that specific time or occasion, that that utterance is given. It is a sign to the unbelievers not to the believers.

People are confused, the uninformed do not understand it that there is a difference between baptism in the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. THE GIFTS ONLY FOLLOW AFTER A PERSON HAS RECEIVED THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT. Spiritual maturity and your ability to contribute to the Body of Christ only follows after you have grown in your relationship with God. A newcomer who is just baptized in the Holy Spirit is not spiritually mature. Those gifts are only given to those who participate and who build up the Body of Christ. It is for the purpose of building up the Body of Christ, FOR THE COMMON GOOD. Many have received these gifts and they use it for their own benefit. Many have received the gifts and they neglect the gifts, they don't use them. Many have received the baptism in the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues, they don't use the tongue that God has given them to communicate with Him and then they fall away.

Do not be deceived, the baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues WAS PROMISED TO ALL THOSE WHO BELIEVE. And remember, if you keep on following Jesus and you make yourself available then God will give other gifts to you so that you can build up the Body of Christ. The Body of Christ is a spiritual body, not an academic body. We need the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth.

Seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit, THAT IS THE BEGINNING, and then after that, SEEK THE GIFTS so that you can contribute to the Body of Christ and be fruitful for the Kingdom of God.

Most believers don't get it!

Most believers don't get it! They don't have salvation, they don't have Jesus! Salvation is KNOWING God the Father, but you have first got to get to know Jesus Christ, for real. You fall on your knees and you cry out to Him, you invite Him into your life. You cry out to Him, you call on Him and He comes into your life! He regenerates you, He makes you a NEW PERSON! And you KNOW, THAT YOU KNOW THAT YOU KNOW THAT JESUS IS ALIVE! He is real, because He has revealed Himself to you and you just want to please Him.

It is about that relationship with Jesus. It is not about reading the Bible, about going to church, about fellowship, it is about BEING WITH JESUS, because Jesus brings you into the Father house! He makes you a child of God, so that you can be with Father! Through Jesus, you are in relationship with Father. You can be speaking to Heavenly Father and you can be LISTENING to Him!

You OBEY Jesus, you are baptized in water and you come out of that water a new man, you ask Him for the baptism in the Holy Spirit and you are connected to God the Father with a heavenly tongue by which you communicate with the Father all the time. You wait on Him, you ask Him to guide you and that is how you know HOW TO BE PLEASING TO FATHER!

Have you met Jesus? Have you been made new, been born again, that you know that: I AM A CHILD OF GOD? That you know: I HAVE A FATHER? And I just want to be with Him! I just want to be pleasing to Him and I wait on Him in prayer. I wake up at night and I LISTEN, He speaks to me.

Have you met Jesus? Have you come into the Father's house? Have you become a child of God? Is Jesus real to you? Is God your Father? Or are you just religious?

HAVE YOU BECOME A CHILD OF GOD? HAVE YOU GOT IT? HAVE YOU FOUND JESUS? If not, go on your knees now and cry out to Him, UNTIL YOU FIND HIM, for real!

The State of the Church

If the church were preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ it would have made a difference in this world. The world would have been a different place. If the church were preaching the truth, then the church would have been under persecution, but souls would have been saved. There would have been a godly people in the world but the church has utterly failed. The church is utterly useless because it is full of sinners instead of making a difference, the church has fallen, the church has lost it salt, it is good for nothing.
We read in Matthew 5:13 Jesus said: “You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has become tasteless, how will it be made salty again? It is good for nothing, anymore, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.” And that is exactly that will happen with church, organizations and establishments that call themselves by the name of Jesus Christ, because judgment is about to start in the House of God. Like Peter also said 1 Peter 4:17-“For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God, and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And if it is with DIFFICULTY that the RIGHTEOUS IS SAVED, what will become of the GODLESS MAN and the SINNER?”
There will be a mighty revival before the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ but it will not happen in the church because the church will be trampled underfoot by men and by God. Our Lord will pour out His Holy Spirit on all flesh, as He promised, and many people will come into His Kingdom through much tribulation, but not through the church. Because those who were suppose to preach the TRUTH become SALTLESS, they become part of the world. They will be TRAMPLED UNDERFOOT.
Are you part of the army of God, who preaches the TRUTH or are you part of the SALTLESS CHURCH that will be TRAMPLED UNDERFOOT BY GOD.

Church Religion - Death to the Soul

Church religion is a death trap for the soul. It does not bring us into the presence of God, it does not make us children of God. You only become a child of God through faith in Jesus who gives you the new birth, who makes you spiritually come alive by putting the Spirit of God into you and you are spiritually connected with the Father. You become a child of God who hears the voice of the Father, who obeys Him and who does His will.
If you do not have the Holy Spirit, you do not belong to God. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, that is given to those who believe in Jesus. Faith in Jesus, the Son of God, brings us into UNITY with God. If we believe that Jesus is the Son of God and we accept Him, we accept His Words that He brought, that He spoke, that are written in the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and we obey those Words, then we are TRANSFORMED to become children of God. You must REPENT, turn away from sin, turn away from doing your own thing and obey Jesus. Be baptized in water for the forgiveness of your sin and He will give you the HOLY SPIRIT to come and dwell in you, that will connect you with the Father so that you can hear His voice, so that you can live in constant communion with the Father. It is a SPIRITUAL UNION. If you do not have the SPIRIT OF GOD, the HOLY SPIRIT, you do not belong to Him.
Going to church, does not connect you with God. It is the HOLY SPIRIT that He puts in those who believe in Jesus and who Obey Him. The Holy Spirit connects us with God, that is the Spirit of God who comes and dwells in us. We become the HOUSE OF GOD, the dwelling place of God, if we invite Him into our lives. We become children of God and we do the will of God. It has nothing to do with Church. It has nothing to do with a bunch of studies and knowledge. It has to do with KNOWING GOD THROUGH REVELATION, THROUGH HIS SPIRIT DWELLING IN YOU.
 Have you received the Holy Spirit? Have you BELIEVED IN JESUS? Have you been CONNECTED TO GOD THE FATHER? Have you been REBORN and become a CHILD OF GOD? Because that is what it means. It means becoming A CHILD OF GOD who constantly does the will of the Father. That is salvation, KNOWING GOD THE FATHER THROUGH JESUS CHRIST HIS SON whom He sent to come and RECONCILE US WITH HIM, to make us CHILDREN OF GOD who always do His will.

Who is your daddy?

All those who believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and who have accepted Him, have the power, to like Him, to become children of God! We read in John1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,”

Those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God, they OBEY Him and He gives them eternal life. He gives them the POWER to become sons of God, like He is Son of God. That is what salvation is about. Those who believe Jesus, OBEY His words and they serve God the Father just like Jesus did. They take on the family likeness of Jesus. They live like him, they obey His words, which are the words of His Father and they become children of God.

Have YOU become a child of God? Have you take on that family likeness of Jesus? Can the world around you see that you are not the same person that you used to be? You have become a child of God! You walk like Jesus, you talk like Him and you OBEY your Father, HEAVENLY FATHER, in exactly the same ways as Jesus obeyed His Father.

Have YOU become a child of God? Is God your Father? Do you obey Him? Or, is the devil your father? Who do you take after? Have YOU became a child of God?

Faith is Action Not Talk

Faith is action, it is not just words. It is the action that you take after you have heard the truth. Have you obeyed Jesus Christ since you have heard the gospel of Jesus? Did you repent, turn away from sin, from serving yourself and are you obeying Jesus? Have you been baptized in water? Have you received the baptism in the Holy Spirit and are you led by the Spirit of God? Are you constantly waiting, listening for the guidance of the Holy Spirit and are you following that guidance? Are you led by the Spirit of God? “Those who are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” Romans 8:14.

IF NOT ACTION HAS TAKEN PLACE IN YOUR LIFE, THEN YOU DID NOT BELIEVE! THERE WAS NO FAITH! Have you changed. Has your life changed? Are you truly following Jesus? DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE?

Hear what the Spirit is saying

God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. God speaks, He has never stopped speaking BUT VERY FEW PEOPLE ARE LISTENING. “Those who are led by the Spirit of God THEY are the sons of God.” (Romans 8:14)

Are you hearing what God is saying? Are you led by His Spirit? Or, are you NOT LISTENING?

The Real House of God

The house of God is not a building. God lives in US IF WE HAVE BECOME CHILDREN OF GOD. We read in Hebrews 3:6 ”but Christ was faithful as a Son over His house (God's house)—whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope firm until the end.”

If we have become born again and the Spirit of God dwells in us THEN WE ARE THE HOUSE OF GOD.

Jesus said: John 14:23 “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and WE WILL COME TO HIM AND MAKE OUR ABODE WITH HIM. “ He will come and live in us, we become the HOUSE OF GOD. God gives His Holy Spirit inside of those who are born again, who are truly born again and who have accepted Jesus, who have received the gift of the Holy Spirit that He promised to those who love Him and who obey Him.

God gives them a tongue by which they communicate directly with God. We read in 1 Corinthians 14:2 “For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God; for no one understands, but in his spirit he speaks mysteries. “ - Because he has become the House of God.

Have YOU become the House of God? Does the Spirit of God dwell in you? And, has He given you a Spiritual Tongue by which you communicate with the Father, that you have become ONE with the Father? “Those who are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God“(Romans 8:14).

Faithful Obedient Children

Jesus Christ, the Son of God came to bring many sons to glory and those who believe in Him have the power to become sons of God. We read in John 1:12”But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,”

We are called to become children of God as Jesus Christ Himself, is the Son of God and Jesus was appointed as a son over His father's house. He proved Himself to be a faithful son. He looked after His Father's house until that day that He was crucified. He hung on that cross and He had fulfilled the mission for which the Father had sent Him. He proved Himself as a faithful steward over those whom God appointed Him, the disciples that the Father gave Him. He cared for them, He taught them how to be children of God, sons of God.

We read in Hebrews 3:2”He was faithful to Him who appointed Him,” verse 6 “but Christ was faithful as a Son over His house—WHOSE HOUSE WE ARE, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope firm until the end.”

WE BECOME THE HOUSE OF GOD, BECAUSE GOD DWELLS IN US, IF WE BECOME SONS OF GOD, but it is required of us to be faithful son as Jesus Himself was faithful. The faithful son will be rewarded. The Father loves the sons, He loves every child that He accepts. It doesn't matter where you come from, God loves you BUT you need to be faithful. He accepts us, he cleanses us, He accepts us fully into His house, without reservation. It doesn't matter where you come from but then YOU MUST ACT AS A FAITHFUL CHILD OF GOD. While you are in the house, you will be coached, you will be punished, you will be chastised, you will be taught the ways of the Father. And if you endure until the very end, as Jesus endured, you will win the prize of eternal life as He Himself won that prize of eternal life. But those who are unfaithful, those who have a wicked heart, those who keep on jumping the fence, who are rebellious, they will perish!

We are warned in Hebrews 3:12”Take care, brethren, lest there should be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart in falling away from the living God. 13But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. 14FOR WE HAVE BECOME PARTAKERS OF CHRIST, IF WE HOLD FAST THE BEGINNING OF OUR ASSURANCE FIRM UNTIL THE END,”

If we stay in the Father's house we are safe, but if like the prodigal son, we say:”Dad I don't want to live here any more. I don't like your discipline. I wan to take my stuff and go.” He will let you go, but while you are out YOU ARE DEAD! There are many people who want to jump the fence every day and come and say:”Hey dad, I am sorry, but I couldn't help it. I had to jump the fence.” That is an unfaithful son, and while He is outside jumping that fence every day, he might die, and he will perish. The prodigal son was outside of the Father's house, by his own choice, but there was joy when this son came back because the father said:”My son who WAS DEAD has come back to life”

We are only safe as long as our heart is in the Father's house, because then He can correct us, He can coach us, He can protect us but if we are outside, jumping the fence, doing sin, then we are in satan's territory and if we die outside that gate, we will perish.

Are you in the Father's house? Is your heart in the Father's house or is your heart outside? It is required of us that we be faithful sons as Jesus Himself was a faithful Son. ONLY THOSE WHO ARE FAITHFUL AND ENDURE UNTIL THE END WILL RECEIVE THE INHERITTANCE FROM THE FATHER, which is ETERNAL LIFE. We need to be faithful until the very end.

Your Biggest Threat

The biggest threat to any believer is DISOBEDIENCE. Disobedience caused the first man, Adam, to die and disobedience will cause the last man to end up in hell also. Jesus, son of God came and He proved that flesh and blood, what we are, can obey God. He obeyed God to the point of death and He gives eternal life to those who obey Him. Our biggest threat is disobeying Jesus because the words of Jesus are the words of God. He came and He spoke the words of the Father and He also obeyed the words of the Father, right until He hung on that cross.

If we want to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven and have eternal life, we will have to UTTERLY OBEY Him, until the very, last moment. Our biggest threat is disobeying Him.

Get behind me SATAN

We must not allow anything, whatsoever to get in between us and obedience to Jesus because the devil will use those the closest to us to derail and to distract us, your wife, your husband, your closest friend, your pastor, those whom you trust, good people. Satan will use them to prevent you from doing the will of God. He will use them to make you disobey God, to disobey Jesus.

We read in Matthew 16:21-23”From that time Jesus Christ began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised up on the third day. 22And Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “God forbid it, Lord! This shall never happen to You.” 23But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but man’s.” 

His closest companion, Peter, Jesus rebukes him, He says to him:”GET BEHIND ME SATAN.” Satan was trying to use Peter to stop Jesus from doing what God the Father had sent Him to do. We often make the mistake of allowing ourselves to be derailed, taken off track by a brother, a sister, a child, a father, whomever, satan will use anybody.

Adam should have said to Eve, “GET BEHIND ME SATAN,” but he didn't, he listened to Eve and was why he died. That is a lesson to us. Do not allow anything or anybody to come between you and Jesus. It doesn't matter who it is, LISTEN to the voice of the Holy Spirit and OBEY Jesus. DO what He tells you to do and to those who try to prevent you, you say:” GET YE BEHIND ME SATAN!”

Tribulation NOW

For those who follow Jesus, tribulation is NOW. They are in the war zone every day of their lives. The battle is on and the devil is at them every single day. Jesus was in a battle every day until the very end of His life, but He overcame and those who follow Jesus will be in the war zone against satan every day of their lives. If you are not in tribulation and in a battle every day then you are not following Jesus, you are not in the war and you will not overcome. The only way to overcome is to be on the offensive, on the attack. Every day, you have got to wake up fighting, fighting the flesh, fighting yourself and winning ground for the Kingdom of God! If you are making ground and winning ground then you are losing ground. If you are not building you are breaking!

Jesus said:”In this world you will have tribulation, but be of good courage, I have overcome the world!” Why did He say that? Because He gave us the example! His sight was set on the prize and He was only interested in one thing and that was to please the Father. If we want to overcome and win the prize of eternal life, we have to do the same. We must set our faces like flint and run the race with ENDURANCE, not let up one single day because that can cost us eternity. Whoever puts his hand to the plow and looks back is not fit for the kingdom of God. You have got to run the race EVERY DAY!

If you have let up, if you have back-slidden, now is the time to get back and never look back again. Focus on the prize and run the race with endurance. ENDURE THE TRIBULATION NOW AND WIN THE PRIZE, OVERCOME THE DEVIL, or you will have eternal tribulation in hell! If you are not in tribulation and in the war zone right now, you are not in the run, you don't have a hope of eternal life!

Get into the race and endure until the very end.

Unworthy am I

None of us is worthy of eternal life. We all deserve death, we should have hung on that cross. People have this thing where they say:”I am not as bad as that guy, I am not a murderer.” If you have ever thought in your life that “I wish that guy would die!” if you have cursed somebody, then you have done exactly what that murderer has done. In your mind you have murdered! You might say:”I am not an adulterer” If you have watched porn or any of these wicked movies and you fantasized about somebody else, you are an adulterer, you are a fornicator. None of us is worthy, none of us is without blame. We deserve death, we deserve damnation. Nobody is worthy of entering into the presence of God IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE BLOOD OF JESUS AND YOU WILL ONLY GO INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD IF JESUS ALLOWS US IN THERE, there is no other way, and the only way that Jesus will allow us into His heavenly Kingdom and give us eternal life is IF WE OBEY HIM as He obeyed His Father, if we are His friend. Only the friends of Jesus will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus said to His disciples (John 15:14)“You are My friends if you do what I command you.”

You can say:”I love Jesus” but if we do not OBEY Him then we are not His friend. If we have not turned away from sin and absolutely OBEY the commandments of the Father that He(Jesus) gave us, in the same way that He(Jesus) obeyed then we prove that we don't love Him.

Jesus said (Matthew 7:21) “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who DOES the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22“Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’ “

If we believe in Jesus and we are His FRIENDS, we OBEY Him. He said that if you look at a woman to desire her you have ALREADY committed adultery in your heart. Are you doing that, or HAVE YOU STOPPED DOING THAT? Have you repented from those things? Are you living pure and holy in obedience to Jesus? If you don't you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. That is how narrow the door is! Jesus said:”Narrow is the door and few there be that find it.”

Don't let anybody tell you a story. Go read the words of Jesus in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and see how narrow the door is. If you believe in Jesus you have to OBEY those words. You have to turn away from wickedness, you have to turn away from pleasing yourself and you must OBEY the words of the Father that Jesus gave us, His words in the gospels. If we do not utterly obey those words we will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

None of us has anything to boast about. There are many people who say:”I haven't done this, I haven't done that.(sin)” In your mind you have! And you have maybe done worse than those people that you think you have done better than them. We have got to stop thinking evil, we have got to love each other. People say:”I am a child of God” but they cannot live with their brothers. They attack their brothers and sisters, they are fighting, gossiping. Jesus said (John 15:17) “This I COMMAND YOU, that you LOVE ONE ANOTHER.” Do you love your brothers and sisters, like yourself, like your own child? Do you love them that way? Or don't you care about the guy that is lying in the street, as long as it is not you that is having the pain. So, “that guy has got AIDS, he made his own problems” or ”that guy is a drunk, he has been drinking all his life”, “he has got what he deserved.” Did I get what I deserved? No, certainly not!

I am not worthy, and therefor I must turn away and follow Jesus with all my power, EVERY STEP OF THE WAY, then I prove to be a child of God. I PROVE TO BE HIS FRIEND, IF I LIVE MY LIFE IN UTTER OBEDIENCE TO JESUS. ARE YOU PUTTING JESUS FIRST? Because if we don't, He will say to us like He said, He will say to many people in that day:”Go away I never knew you, you who do wickedness!” Are you doing wickedness, or are you doing the will of the Father, as Jesus did it, walking in u

Keep your vows to God

God is not our buddy. If you ever make a vow to God, make sure that you repay it. If you don’t do it you are sure to be very, very sorry. I speak from grave personal experience. I want to read for you from Ecclesiastes 5:4-5 He says “When you make a vow to God, do not be late in paying it; for He takes no delight in fools. Pay what you vow! It is better that you should not vow than that you should vow and not pay.”
When you are in trouble and you ask God to help you with something and you make a promise, make sure that you repay, it is better not to make a vow. We read in the Book of Judges about a man who made such a vow to God and it was very bitter for him to repay it. Jephthah was one of the judges of Israel. We read in Judges 11:34 What happened is that Jephthah promised God that if God would give him the victory over the foes, that the first thing, the first one that came to him from his house, the first thing, he would sacrifice and Jephthah had one only daughter and when He came back from his victory, she came out to dad and Jephthah had to sacrifice her to God because he promised it. I read from :34-35 “When Jephthah came to his house at Mizpah, behold, his daughter was coming out to meet him with tambourines and with dancing. Now she was his one and only child; besides her he had neither son nor daughter. And it came about that when he saw her, he tore his clothes and said, Alas, my daughter! You have brought me very low, and you are among those who trouble me; for I have given my word to God, and I cannot take it back." It is a very sad story, she went and she mourned and then she came back and he had to pay his vow, he sacrificed her to God. It is horrible. We see that :39-40 "and it came about that at the end of two months that she returned to her father, who did to her according to the vow which he had made; and she had no relations with a man. Thus it became a custom in Israel, that the daughters of Israel went yearly to commemorate the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite four days in the year.” Sad story, I’ve got my own sad story which I want to share with you also. When I was about 14 years old, a cousin of mine was in a severe car accident and she lay in hospital and she was in a coma and I made a promise to God. I prayed for my cousin and she was also about 15 years old at the time. There was no hope for her, I promised God, I said:"Lord, if you, if you heal Thea, and bring her back then I will dedicate my life to you and I will spread the Gospel, I will go and I will be Your servant." God healed her miraculously, there was no hope for her.  It was medically impossible for her to recover, it was a miracle. She is still alive today, but I did not keep my promise. I was a serious Christian at that stage, but young and I became backslidden at the age of about 20, severely backslidden. I got married, I had children, I carried on with my life. I lived like God did not exist, although I knew God well. I just went away from God and when I was 29 years old, married, kids, 2 little boys. I got a phone call at work, there been an accident and my wife was in that accident and they took her to hospital. And when I stood in that hospital severely backslidden, away from Jesus, that scene with my cousin came back to me, because here was my wife and she was in a very bad condition.
I knew it was speaking to me, came back to me, I had made a vow to God and I made a promise and I never kept it. It was talking to me and my wife was terminal and I knew all along that I hadn’t kept my vow. Three weeks later she passed away, she never recover, she never came out of her coma. She was also in a terminal condition. I never repaid my vow but more than 10 years later I stood at the grave of my wife, I was a widower with two little boys, 3 years old and 9 months old, I didn’t repay my vow, I was foolish.
I came back to God later but I want to warn you today, friends from my own experience, don’t mess with God, don’t play with God, it is serious business. If you have made a vow to God, keep it. If you have made a vow to a spouse before God, keep it. God is not mocked my friends, don’t make vows, don’t swear that is why it is written: Do not swear neither by the Heaven nor by the earth. Let your ye be ye and your nay be nay. Do not swear, take God seriously. If you have made a vow, repay it and don’t be foolish like I was, I made a vow. I thank God that He extended His Hand of mercy to me. I repented, I came back to Jesus and I am serving God but I paid for my folly, for my foolishness.
Before my wife passed away, she knew she was, she was going to die, because she kept on telling me about a month before she died that she said: I am not going to be here for long. I said why she said I am going to be with my granny, my granny is in Heaven. I said to her: don’t be foolish man, don’t talk nonsense , she knew it and I think she was prepared. But people don’t play with God, take God seriously. God is not our buddy, He is God Almighty. Don’t take a vow if you don’t intend keeping it. Just a warning from a friend and brother in Jesus. Jesus has not quit on you

There was a very long period in my life that I was far away from God even though I knew Him well, to start with. But I want to tell you one thing and that is that, Jesus never gave up on me. I look back and I realize that even in my darkest moments, where I was in sin, as drunk as a skunk, denying my Lord, doing things that I knew were wrong. He never left me, He was always there. He came after me, He cared for me. I should have been killed many times, many times, but He kept me alive because He is good and He cared for me. And then He turned my life upside down, because He cared for me.

It took many years for me to realize that the rainbow that I was chasing was foolishness, and then eventually when I crawled back to Jesus, (because I crawled back), and I said:”Lord, if You will take me back, then I WANT to come back, but I don't deserve anything.” He accepted me and He drew me in!

Dear friend, it doesn't matter how far you have fallen, Jesus cares for you and HE HASN'T GIVEN UP ON YOU AND HE WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON YOU, until the very end. But we don't know when the end will be and if we are away from the Father's house when we die, then it will all be in vain. The door is standing wide open and He is calling you and me into His house. He loves us. He is not judging you, He is not rejecting you. He is waiting for you, eagerly, for you to come home. It is up to you, friend, to come home. Jesus is waiting for you. Don't wait any longer. Don't look back, don't think of what things used to be like, come back to the Father's house. He is waiting for you. Don't wait too long.

When the prodigal son came home his father said:”My son who was dead, has come back to life!” He wants you to come back to life, my friend. He is waiting for you. Don't let anything stop you. JESUS HAS NEVER GIVEN UP ON YOU, NEVER, but don't waste it any longer. Go to Him right now, say:”Lord, please take me back!” and He will gladly accept you back.

If you have backslidden, if you have gone away from Jesus, He is waiting for you. I am so glad that He never quit on me and that is why I can tell you, HE HASN'T QUIT ON YOU, MY FRIEND!

Call out to Jesus, He is waiting for you!

Don't Quit! Don't be a loser!

One of the easiest things that there is in life is to quit. We quit too easily. People split up and then they claim irreconcilable differences. All it means is that you are a quitter and a loser and you won't make it and you repeat that pattern of failure. The one thing that the Lord Jesus taught me is to never quit, to persist, to endure.

To my shame I must say it took me twenty years to complete my first University degree. I quit half way through and then Jesus told me to go back to school and go and “finish what you started!” I went back and I finished my first degree and did a subsequent degree and then He sent me back to do a Master's Degree, and He told me that I must do straight A's, at the degree, no half measures! It was hard work!

If you want to enter the Kingdom of Heaven YOU CANNOT JUST QUIT! Stick at it! Endure! If you do not endure, YOU WILL NOT MAKE IT!

People just give up, they say:”It can't be done!”, “I can't stop sinning!”, “I cannot follow Jesus!”

Dear friend, if you want to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, you must endure, you must stop sinning, you must obey Jesus! You must become serious! YOU MUST COMMIT! Jesus taught me to commit and to endure and I thank Him for it because “I AM NO QUITTER NO MORE!”

If you want to get into the Kingdom of Heaven, you cannot quit friend, you have got to endure, with whatever you do and Jesus will give you the power to endure, to overcome and to win the prize!
