Do Not BACK OFF

If you want eternal life you have to GO WITH Jesus, you have to FOLLOW HIM every day and DO what He tells you to do. You must GO where He sends you and you must not allow anything or anybody to stop you.

If you BACK OFF and if you WITHDRAW from following Jesus before the end then you are not worthy of Him. If you deny Him He will certainly also deny you.

Are you following Jesus every day? Are you going after him every day and doing what He tells you to do? Or do you back off at the slightest resistance?

What Matters is How you Finish

Many people hear the gospel of Jesus Christ and then they say a sinners prayer, they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord, Master and Savior. They promise to follow Him and obey Him in that prayer but very soon they turn away from Him, they don't keep their promise, they leave Him.

Many people fall in love with somebody and they get married, they make marriage vows but very soon their love grows cold, They find somebody else and they leave the one to whom they vowed to be faithful for life.

It is only those who remain faithful to Jesus until the very end that will have eternal life, it is only those who keep their vows. Many turn away from Jesus. Some want to go back. What is important is not how you start the race but how you finish it. You might have known Jesus, you might have followed Jesus and then backslidden into the world. What matters is HOW YOU END. GET BACK TO JESUS. Love Him, obey Him, follow Him and KEEP YOUR VOW, stay with Him until the end and He will give you LIFE. It is only those who endure until the end that will have eternal life.

What really matters is not how you start but how you finish. Are you running the race with endurance in such a way that you will win the prize? How do you intend to finish?

Where He Leads

Jesus Christ is the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE and He gives eternal life to those who follow Him and who OBEY Him. But we have to go after Him and follow Him where He guides us. We have to DO what He commands us to do.

Jesus did not send us a road map or a guide book, He guides His disciples by His Spirit. every day, step by step. He said:”Whoever WISHES to come after Me must deny himself, pick up his cross every day and come here, follow Me.” Many start but very few endure. If we put our hand to the plow and look back we are not worthy of Jesus or of His kingdom. He said:”My righteous one will live by faith but if he withdraws My soul will have no pleasure in him.” Many start but very few endure until the very end. Very few STAY with Jesus and go where He guides them. Many just become religious, others just fall away. It is only those who endure until the very end that will win the prize of eternal life.

Are you willing to GO where He guides you, to follow where He leads you, to DO what he tells you? Are you willing to ENDURE until the very end?

The Kingdom of God

The kingdom of God is about Jesus Christ about following HIM and about DOING HIS WILL. It is not about YOU or ME about our joy, our fun or our pleasure. It is about OBEDIENCE TO JESUS.

Jesus said that:”Whoever WISHES to come after Me must deny himself, pick up his cross every day and come here FOLLOW Me.” The kingdom of God is a STRUGGLE it is a TEST and it is only those who endure until the end that will win the prize of eternal life. The kingdom of God is promised to those who ENDURE UNTIL THE VERY END. They will not be many. Jesus called them “little flock.”

Are you part of the LITTLE FLOCK, the VERY FEW that will follow Jesus and endure until the very end.

Off the beaten track into the wilderness

If you follow Jesus Christ then He will take you off the beaten track. He will take you on the straight and narrow road where it is HIM and YOU alone, where your dependence is on HIM and without Him you won't make it. He will take you on the road of RIGHTEOUSNESS, HOLINESS, OBEDIENCE, PURIFICATION and He will teach you His ways.
If you TRUST Him and keep following Him, He will take you deeper and deeper into that wilderness where nobody can survive without Him. You will not be part of this world or of it's systems. Your dependence will be on Jesus alone because without Jesus Christ you cannot walk that road. You WILL NOT walk that road if you do not fully TRUST and OBEY Him, and IF you withdraw then His soul will have no pleasure in you. That journey in the wilderness, off the beaten track will never end until the very last day of your life because the road through the wilderness is the road to eternal life.
Jesus Christ ALONE is the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE. If we want eternal life we have to follow Him and Him ALONE. You will not find many fellow pilgrims on that road. There are many who claim to be Christians but there are very few who follow Jesus Christ and who will endure until the very end. Only those who endure until the end and STAY with Jesus, only they will have the PRIZE of eternal life. Only they will inherit the kingdom of heaven.
Are you following Jesus Christ OFF THE BEATEN TRACK? Are you following Him into uncertainty, into impossibility? Are you staying WITH Him, LISTENING, OBEYING or do you follow your own mind, lean on your own understanding, listen to other people? Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to LIFE. If you want eternal life you have to deny yourself and deny everything else, even your common sense, put your trust in HIM, listen, obey and follow Him EVERY DAY and He will lead you and guide you into His kingdom.

GO ALL THE WAY

Many people eagerly start out following Jesus Christ but very few are willing to go all the way and endure until the end. Jesus' disciples were also often tempted to leave Him. We read in John 6 when Jesus said to them:”If you do not eat My body and drink My blood” most of them wanted to leave Him. And Jesus said to the twelve:”Don't you also want to leave Me?” Peter said:”Lord, where will we go to? You have the words of eternal life.”
Even Peter himself swore, He said:”Lord I will go with You all the way, even until death, I will die for You” but he denied Jesus three times. When Jesus was led away to be crucified all His disciples deserted Him. He was all by Himself, all alone, they had all left Him. It was only afterwards, after they had received the Holy Spirit that most of them went on to die for Him.
If we do not go WITH Jesus and follow Him ALL THE WAY until the end, then it is all in vain. Jesus said:”Whoever puts his hand to the plow and looks back is not worthy of Me, is not worthy of the kingdom of God.” Many people are only willing to go with Jesus up to a point, for a short while. When they have to choose between Jesus and friends, popularity and acceptance of men, they choose their friends, they deny Jesus. When they have to choose to obey Jesus they stop following Him. When they have to choose to be baptized in water, they refuse! When they have to choose between friends, their wife, their husband, their children, their job and Jesus then they deny Jesus. They turn away from Him. They go after the things of the world. They rather go for the pleasures of the world than to obey Jesus Christ. They rather go for Bible study and church activities than to LISTEN to Jesus, PRAY, GO where He sends them, DO what He tells them to do. They are not willing to follow Jesus ALL THE WAY.
Many believers are UNFRUITFUL. We can only be fruitful if we remain IN Christ, if we are LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT and if we DO what Jesus himself tells us to do.
Very few are willing to go all the way, to LISTEN and to OBEY until the end. If we are not willing to go WITH Jesus ALL THE WAY until the end then we are not worthy of Him and everything that we have done, everything that we have given up, up to that point, is a waste, its all in vain! If we don't go all the way we will not enter the kingdom of heaven, we will not have eternal life.
Are you willing to go all the way and to endure until the very end, even until death? If you are not willing to endure you won't make it!

Don't give up

Many people start out well, following Jesus Christ but very few persist and endure until the end. Many have fallen away, they have given up. Many have backslidden and come back to Jesus and backslidden again and come back again, and they have totally lost hope, they have been entangled back in sin and they are worse off than they were before.

The kingdom of God is for those who ENDURE, it is for WINNERS, it is not for losers. Only those who endure until the end, who follow Jesus Christ until the very end, only they will win the prize of eternal life. Only those who OBEY Jesus Christ, who deny themselves, pick up their cross daily and follow Jesus, who OBEY His words, those who have learned endurance, perseverance, and longsuffering, patience, those are the ones who will win the prize of eternal life. But the quitters and those who give up, they are the losers and they will not enter the kingdom of Heaven.

If you have given up, if you have backslidden, get back, get back on the road! Start following Jesus and ENDURE UNTIL THE VERY END or else everything that you have suffered and given up, it will all be in vain because you will spend eternity in hell. If you cannot walk with Jesus NOW, every day, and submit to Him you will not spend eternity with Him. The kingdom of heaven is for those who endure, it is not for quitters.

Don't be a quitter! Get back to Jesus and run the rest of the race with endurance until the very end.

You have the POWER

We all have the power to do the will of God. Without Jesus we can do nothing and whatever power we have, we receive from God, even the breath that we breathe, but it is our choice how we use that power. We can use the power that God gives us to sin, or to live holy and to obey Jesus Christ. We can either curse or we can bless. We can go after our own flesh or we can go after Jesus but the power that we have ALL COMES FROM GOD!

Paul says:”I can do all things through Jesus Christ who gives me the POWER.” (Philippians 4:13) Jesus said that without Him we can do nothing. (John 15:5) Whatever power we have got, we get from God. There is no power in us that we ourselves generate.

The devil is doing his best to destroy us, to tempt us, to get us to sin and end up in hell, and we are ALL tempted but God will not ALLOW US TO BE TEMPTED ABOVE OUR POWER (1Corinthians10:13). If we need more power to overcome then we must pray and He will give us MORE POWER, but WE must resist the devil and then he will flee from us.

Nobody will have any excuse for not doing the will of God. It is all in our power because God gives us the power to do whatever we do.

Called to Victory

Jesus is calling each one of us, with a wonderful purpose, He is calling us to overcome and to win the prize of eternal life. He is not setting us up for failure, He is guiding us to victory but we have to FOLLOW Him. We have to follow HIS PLAN, we have to remain IN HIM or else we will not make it.

If we do not overcome the flesh and if we do not overcome satan and the world it is because WE are not following Jesus. The fault does not lie with Jesus but with US. WE need to deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Jesus Christ every day. We need to submit to Him, OBEY Him, STAY IN HIM, we need to PRAY and seek Him always. On our own we cannot make it but WITH JESUS it is impossible to fail. If we fail it is because WE have turned away from Jesus, it is because WE have strayed.

We are called to victory but we have to STAY WITH JESUS CHRIST and OBEY Him. We need to FOLLOW Him, every step of the way until the very end. Are you following Jesus? Are you overcoming? Are you DOING what He is telling you to do?

Why truly born again believers SIN NO MORE

All humans have the ability to do the worst of sins and it is easy to get mad, to curse, to allow your imagination to carry you away into terrible sins, fornication, adultery and murder, if we allow those thoughts to enter us and to fester in us because then in the end it breeds death.

The reason why a born again child of God does not sin is because he has met Jesus Christ and HE HAS SEEN THE GLORY OF THE KING. He believes the words of the King and he wants to stay in that presence of the Lord and he KNOWS that he must keep himself pure and holy and he must obey Jesus Christ to remain in His presence. He has seen the kingdom of God and he wants to press on in because he knows it is only those who endure until the end who keep themselves pure and holy and who are pleasing to Jesus, it is only those who will inherit that wonderful kingdom that they have had a glimpse of. They have seen the glory of the King. They have seen the inheritance of the saints, of those who endure, who obey and who follow Jesus, who keep themselves spotless and clean as a bride for Jesus Christ, those who live in His presence, who hear His voice. They know that if they go back to sin and defile themselves Jesus will not have any relationship with them, He will not speak to them and that is why they keep themselves pure and holy. They live in the presence of the King. They hear His voice, they follow Him. They are not interested in the things of the world because they want to press on in and win that prize of eternal life, that prize reserved for overcomers, for those who prove by their obedience that they truly love Jesus Christ.

Are you a born again FOLLOWER of Jesus Christ who is striving, who is doing your utmost to be pleasing to your Master all the time. Have you seen the glory of the King? Have you met Jesus Christ? Can you see the Kingdom of God? And are you striving with everything that is in you to make it through that very very narrow door that so few will find?

Go all the way

There is only one way to have eternal life and that is Jesus Christ alone. Jesus is the way and the truth and the life. There is no other way, no book no road map. The Bible cannot take you to heaven. Other people cannot take you to heaven, no preacher, no church, nobody, only Jesus Christ. You need to KNOW HIM, the living God and you need to follow Him until the very end of your life. Jesus is alive. You get to know Jesus when you fall on your knees and you cry out to Him. You pray and you seek Him until you find Him and then you will know Him for real. He will write His laws in your heart, He will give His Spirit in you to guide you every step of the way but you need to follow Him and obey Him until the very end. Jesus said:”Follow Me.” Very few people did follow Jesus. Many people started following Him but very few of those stayed with Him until the end, even the disciples at times many of them left Him. At one stage He said to the twelve:”Don't you also want to leave Me?” And Peter said:”Lord, where will we go? You have the words of eternal life.” Jesus Christ Himself is the WAY. If you do not know Him for real and He does not know you for real, He will say to you:”Go away I never knew you.” You need to follow Jesus every day of your life until the very end. You need to pray and seek Him every day. He will speak to you, He will guide you but if you do not endure until the end and if you are not pleasing to Jesus YOU WILL NOT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. Without holiness, without utter obedience to Jesus Christ, you will NOT enter the kingdom of Heaven, you will NOT have eternal life. There is only ONE WAY, Jesus Christ. Do you know Him for real? Are you following Him or are you busy with religion. Jesus Christ alone is the way. You have to endure with Jesus until the very, very end. May Jesus bless you.

Cold Feet

Many believers seriously started following Jesus, they witnessed for Him, they listened to His voice and they did what He told them to do but then they got cold feet. They stopped following. It is written that THE RIGHTEOUS ONE WILL LIVE BY FAITH but IF HE WITHDRAWS MY SOUL WILL HAVE NO PLEASURE IN HIM (Hebrews 10:38). If we do not complete the race and keep on following Jesus it is all in vain. We mustn't look at other people. Our focus must be on Jesus. He has a specific purpose and a plan with each and every one of us, that is why He called us, BUT we must stay focused on Him until the very end. We must not get cold feet and stop. We must follow Him every day until the very end. Those who endure and those who overcome will win the prize of life. Those who get cold feet, who quit will lose it all. They will end up in damnation with the unbelievers. THERE IS NO PLACE FOR QUITTERS IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. Get back on the job, repent and follow Jesus until the very end. May Jesus bless you.

Do not give up

Many people accept Jesus Christ. They say the sinners prayer and they make a quick promise, they say:”Lord I will serve You for the rest of my life,” but they do not follow Him for a long time. Very soon they give up.

Jesus said:”Whoever wishes to come after Me, must deny himself, pick up his cross EVERY DAY and follow Me.” We have to follow Jesus until the very end or else everything has been in vain. The apostle Paul wrote in Galatians 6:9”And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.”

We will only win the prize of eternal life if we do not grow weary and give up. We must endure until the the very end. No quitters will go into the kingdom of heaven, it is only those who stay with Jesus until the very end. Jesus said that whoever puts his hand to the plow and looks back is not worthy of the kingdom of God.

Do not grow weary, do not give up but follow Jesus EVERY DAY until the very end.

Tribulation NOW

For those who follow Jesus, tribulation is NOW. They are in the war zone every day of their lives. The battle is on and the devil is at them every single day. Jesus was in a battle every day until the very end of His life, but He overcame and those who follow Jesus will be in the war zone against satan every day of their lives. If you are not in tribulation and in a battle every day then you are not following Jesus, you are not in the war and you will not overcome. The only way to overcome is to be on the offensive, on the attack. Every day, you have got to wake up fighting, fighting the flesh, fighting yourself and winning ground for the Kingdom of God! If you are making ground and winning ground then you are losing ground. If you are not building you are breaking!

Jesus said:”In this world you will have tribulation, but be of good courage, I have overcome the world!” Why did He say that? Because He gave us the example! His sight was set on the prize and He was only interested in one thing and that was to please the Father. If we want to overcome and win the prize of eternal life, we have to do the same. We must set our faces like flint and run the race with ENDURANCE, not let up one single day because that can cost us eternity. Whoever puts his hand to the plow and looks back is not fit for the kingdom of God. You have got to run the race EVERY DAY!

If you have let up, if you have back-slidden, now is the time to get back and never look back again. Focus on the prize and run the race with endurance. ENDURE THE TRIBULATION NOW AND WIN THE PRIZE, OVERCOME THE DEVIL, or you will have eternal tribulation in hell! If you are not in tribulation and in the war zone right now, you are not in the run, you don't have a hope of eternal life!

Get into the race and endure until the very end.
