Pleasure or Jesus

The whole world is running after pleasure. They just want to have a good time but they don't want God, they don't want His interference. They want eternal life but they don't want to obey God and that is why they they are going to hell. They are more lovers of pleasure than lovers of God.

If we do not love Jesus NOW and if we do not want to live to please Him, why would we want to spend eternity with Him? GOD WILL GIVE US THE DESIRES OF OUR HEARTS. He will remove us from His face and we will go into UTTER DARKNESS. We will lose all the blessings and all the pleasures that he freely gives us every day and we don't thank Him or recognize Him for it. We will go into utter darkness and desolation AWAY FROM THE PRESENCE OF GOD into the depths of HELL, because where God is not, there is darkness and misery and death, no life, no hope at all.

If we do not want Jesus now we will spend eternity AWAY for His presence. Do you want Jesus or do you want pleasure? We cannot have both.

What you are

You are what you do. You become like the one whom you are following. The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God. Parents want to teach their children to do good while they themselves are wicked. We can only teach our children to follow and to obey Jesus if we ourselves are following Him.

If we ourselves are wicked and we are on our way to hell then we are taking our children to hell with us. The question is: Are we ourselves, obeying Jesus and doing what is pleasing to Him? Or are we taking the next generation to hell with us? Who are we following, Jesus Christ, or our own desires?

Where will we and our children end up?

The Choice

God is in control of the entire universe but He has given man a free will and we can decide whether we do what we please or whether we submit ourselves to the will of God and become part of His kingdom. If we refuse to submit to God we will perish. If we repent and accept Jesus Christ as our King, Lord and Master and we OBEY Him we become part of the kingdom of God and then we will reign with Him. If we rebel against Him and we reject Jesus Christ we will perish. The choice is ours. Will we submit to the will of God or will we reject Jesus Christ as Lord and Master? Because then we will perish. We have that opportunity now to submit to Jesus, to SERVE Him as Lord and then we will be part of His Kingdom. Will you serve Jesus as Lord or will you perish?
