What YOU must do to be saved

You don't need to anything to end up in eternal damnation. The whole world is already judged and condemned because of sin, because all have sinned and they come short of the glory of God. But Jesus Christ can remove the guilt of your sin and give you eternal life IF you repent and ACCEPT Him as your LORD and MASTER and to OBEY and SERVE Him for the rest of your life. Then you become part of His kingdom. If you reject Jesus Christ YOU WILL PERISH.

You need to GO AFTER Him, you need to OBEY Him, you need to SERVE Him as LORD. Jesus said:”Whoever WISHES to come after Me MUST deny himself, pick up his cross every day and come here FOLLOW ME.”

Very few people will be saved. They asked Jesus whether those who are being saved are few and He said to them:”Straight is the gate and narrow is the door that leads to life and FEW there be that find it. Strive HARD to enter the narrow door. You don't need to do anything to end up in hell but you need to STRIVE HARD, you need to GO AFTER Jesus every day, you need to OBEY Him, you need to LIVE HOLY and RIGHTEOUSLY, you need to live in close relationship with Jesus Christ EVERY DAY if you want eternal life. If you turn away from Him YOU ARE DOOMED, you are LOST!

It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to look after YOUR SALVATION. YOU have to work out your salvation with fear and trembling UNTIL the very very end. Your salvation is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. It depends on YOUR relationship with Jesus, whether YOU follow Him and serve Him as Lord and Master. Jesus Christ will say to many who believed that they were saved:”Go away, I never knew you, you workers of wickedness,” because those people did not follow after Jesus. They did not LISTEN to Him, they did not OBEY HIS WORDS. They were workers of wickedness. You need to follow Jesus EVERY DAY until the very end or else YOU WILL PERISH.

Relationship is HARD WORK

A successful relationship requires extremely hard work and that is why most relationships fail. That is why most marriages fail, it is because the partners are not willing to work hard at that relationship.

That is also the reason why most believers will not have eternal life. They are not willing to work on their relationship with Jesus. They are not willing to go after Him. They are not willing to deny themselves, pick up their cross and follow Jesus Christ every day. Therefor they will not have eternal life.

Are you willing to put EVERYTHING into your relationship with Jesus? Are you willing to sacrifice yourself , your own will, your own pleasures, your own desires, in order to be pleasing to Jesus? If you are not willing to put everything into your relationship with Jesus Christ, you will not have eternal life.

Jesus gave everything for us and He requires of us that we put EVERYTHING into our relationship with Him. If we cannot OBEY Jesus and be pleasing to Him, we will not have eternal life.

Your expected reward

God will reward every man according to their deeds. The wages of sin is death and God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. The apostle Paul wrote in Romans 2:5:”God, 6who WILL RENDER TO EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS: 7to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; 8but to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation. 9There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek, 10but glory and honor and peace to every man who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11FOR THERE IS NO PARTIALITY WITH GOD.” God knows every deed, every thought, everything that we do. He is watching us and we will all be rewarded according to what we have done. Every branch in Christ, that does not bear fruit, good fruit, will get cut off and burned. We read in John 15 the words of Jesus, John 15:1“ I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2“ Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it, that it may bear more fruit. 4“ Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5“ I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing. 6“ IF ANYONE DOES NOT ABIDE IN ME, HE IS THROWN AWAY AS A BRANCH, AND DRIES UP; AND THEY GATHER THEM, AND CAST THEM INTO THE FIRE, AND THEY ARE BURNED.” If we do not remain IN CHRIST then we are cut off, thrown into the fire. Without Jesus we can do nothing. We will be rewarded by our deeds. We now have the opportunity to mend our ways and make sure that we receive a good reward. What reward are we expecting from God? Eternal life or eternal damnation because we will be judged by our DEEDS. May Jesus bless you.

Salvation is HARD WORK

Salvation will take extremely hard work on your and my part IF we make it through the narrow door into the kingdom of Heaven. Jesus said:”Strive hard, for many I tell you will try and not be able.” You will have to try your utmost and then you still might not be able to find the narrow door. 
Without Jesus, you won't make it. If you do not deny yourself EVERY DAY, pick up your cross and follow Jesus you won't make it. Jesus has no part-time followers. You have to follow Him every day. You have to work on your relationship with Him ALL THE TIME, every moment. You must be focused on Him and on doing His will all the time. If you are not working and striving for the kingdom of God then you are breaking it down. If you are not gathering, you are scattering. If your focus is not on Jesus and if you are not led by the Holy Spirit then you are led by your own flesh and by the devil. That which is of the flesh is flesh and that which is of the Spirit of God  is Spirit. You must be led by the Spirit of God.
You cannot go sit in a corner, read your Bible and be holy. You have to GET UP and FOLLOW Jesus AFTER YOU HAVE PRAYED and sought Him in prayer. You have to seek Him always, day and night. You must seek Him in prayer, you must HEAR from Him. If you are not led by the Spirit of God you are not a child of God. If you do not have the Spirit of Christ in you, BURNING LIKE A FIRE, you are dead. 
It is not easy to enter the kingdom of Heaven. Very few will make it. Strive hard, get your focus on Jesus and follow Him every moment. Cry out to Him, seek Him and DO what He tells you to do, every day, or else you will not find that narrow door. It is HARD WORK to enter the kingdom of Heaven and very few will make it.
