Will you serve?

All those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Master have the POTENTIAL to become children of God and to become part of the Kingdom of God. They have the POTENTIAL to become heirs of the Kingdom of God but very few people are interested in Jesus Christ, in serving Him and in the Kingdom of God.

Most people go after their own affairs, they seek their own advancement. Jesus said that if we wish to follow Him and become part of His Kingdom then we need to deny ourselves, pick up our cross every day and follow Him. We need to ABANDON our own desires, our own ambitions and the Kingdom of God needs to become our ambition. We need to seek to advance the Kingdom of God. If you are not born again you cannot SEE the Kingdom of God, you cannot UNDERSTAND IT. You first need to be born again of the Spirit of God and of water (baptism) and then you can SEE the Kingdom of God, it becomes real to you. Jesus said:”Seek ye first the ADVANCEMENT OF THE Kingdom of God and His RIGHTEOUSNESS and then all the other things will be added unto you, you will become and heir of the Kingdom of God. Jesus calls us to SERVE the Kingdom of God but very few people are interested in serving, they want to serve themselves, their own lusts, their own desires, their own ambitions. If we do not take ownership, possession, interest in the Kingdom of God, then we will not have an inheritance!

Believers want eternal life, they don't want to go to hell but they don't want Jesus ether, neither are they interested in the Kingdom of God. They don't want to SERVE, they call it a WORKS GOSPEL. They don't want to work for the Kingdom of God. They don't seek the ADVANCEMENT of the Kingdom of God. They are not seeking the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God, His STANDARD and therefor they do not become part of the Kingdom of God. We cannot serve and advance the Kingdom of God if we are not led by the Holy Spirit. We cannot work ON the Kingdom and FOR the Kingdom unless we serve the King, Jesus Christ. We need to KNOW Him, LOVE Him, FOLLOW Him and OBEY Him every day and DO what He tells us to do, GO where He sends us. Whatever the cost, we have to INVEST ourselves, sacrifice our own desires for the benefit of the Kingdom of God.

We must WILLINGLY serve Jesus. Jesus will MIGHTILY use those who make themselves available, who come and sit at His feet and WAIT on Him and say:”Lord, please use me as YOU please. YOU are my KING and my MASTER and I want to serve YOUR Kingdom.”

Few will serve, few will inherit that kingdom. Are you willing to SERVE the Kingdom of God? If you are not willing you will have no part in it! You wont have eternal life, you will not have Jesus! ARE YOU WILLING TO SERVE?

Join the struggle

To follow Jesus Christ is a struggle every day and if you do follow Jesus you WILL feel the pain. Jesus said that we must deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Him every day. He also warned his disciples that they will be hated by all men. If you follow Jesus Christ this world will hate you and reject you.
Jesus said that we must take His yoke on us because his burden is light and His commandments are easy. That is when you FOLLOW Jesus and STAY with Him, then He will help you to overcome. He will help you to bear the load, but you will be tried, you will be tested and only those who endure until the end will have the prize of eternal life.
If you follow Jesus you have to sacrifice yourself unto the Lord. Therefor Paul writes in Romans 12:1 He says:“I beseech you brethren that you present your bodies as a living and a holy sacrifice, acceptable unto the Lord. That is your reasonable service.” That is what the Lord requires of us if we want eternal life. We need to sacrifice ourselves and present ourselves unto the Lord for HIS purpose to do HIS will. Only those who STAY with Jesus until the end and who overcome evil, themselves, the flesh and who OBEY Jesus Christ, only they will have the prize of eternal life.
It is a struggle until the very end. You have to overcome to win the prize. Stay focused on Jesus or else you will not be able to make it.

Filthy Works

Many believers think that they can buy God's favor by their works, by their Bible study, their church attendance, their support to their favorite charity, the money that they give to the church, supporting the church bazaar, going to the fellowship meetings. They think that it pleases God that they attend Christian fellowship and that they do praise and worship and dancing in the church, participating in the church activities. Those are FILTHY WORKS.
God is not interested in those works. God is interested in one thing only and that is in OBEDIENCE and RIGHTEOUSNESS. Jesus said:”If you love Me OBEY MY WORDS” Jesus wants OBEDIENCE not sacrifice. He does not want your money nor the things that YOU want to GIVE to Him, the sacrifices YOU want to make. What is important to Jesus is that we OBEY HIM and give to Him the HONOR and the RESPECT and the OBEDIENCE that is due to Him, that we SERVE Him as LORD and MASTER. Our filthy works cannot buy the favor of God. God wants OBEDIENCE.

Are we serving God with REVERENCE and FEAR? Do we OBEY the words of Jesus. That is what is pleasing to God. May Jesus bless you.

Achieving your ambition

Every man is the slave of his ambition and achieving your goals in life will take your utmost effort and dedication. It is no different with your relationship with Jesus. Jesus said:”Narrow is the door that leads to life and few their be that find it.” If you are not willing to give up EVERYTHING and apply yourself absolutely to obeying Jesus and DOING what is pleasing to Him, you won't make it.

A relationship is not just faith or words, it is action. You can tell a person that you love them but if your actions do not prove it, your deeds, then your relationship will fall apart or not exist at all. It is our DEEDS that prove our relationship, our service and our dedication to Jesus. Jesus said:”Why do you call Me Lord, Lord and do not what I say?” If we love somebody then nothing is too much trouble. People say they cannot stop sinning, they cannot obey the words of Jesus. If you REALLY want to, you will do EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO BE PLEASING TO JESUS. You will do your UTMOST BEST, and Jesus said that even those who do their UTMOST BEST will not all make it. When they asked Him:”Lord are those who are being saved few?” He said:”Many will try but not be able. STRIVE, STRIVE HARD.” Are we striving HARD? Is it our ambition to be pleasing to Jesus or are other things more important? Because if we do not put every bit of effort into it WE WILL NOT MAKE IT. It will take your UTMOST DEDICATION and ABSOLUTE OBEDIENCE to Jesus Christ and then you might just not make it.

Believing that you are saved just puts you into a FOOLS PARADISE. If you are not WORKING at your salvation and proving by your deeds that you are absolutely dedicated to Jesus. if you are not willing to give up EVERYTHING to follow Him and obey Him you are not worthy of Him and you WILL NOT enter the kingdom of heaven.

The Sacrifices of God

“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise.” Those are the words of king David in Psalm 51:17. The only sacrifice that we can bring to God is our own brokenness because if we are spirited and strong in ourselves we will not listen to Him, we will not obey Him.

Jesus said:”Blessed are they who are poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” Matthew 5:3. It is only when we are poor in spirit, poor in OUR OWN SPIRIT, poor in our own ideas and opinion, our own resources, it is only then that we are willing to OBEY the King, to LISTEN to Him, to FOLLOW Him and to be useful, fruitful in His kingdom. People who are wise in their own estimation, who lean on their own understanding and their own Bible knowledge WILL NOT LISTEN to the Holy Spirit. We need to empty ourselves of our SELF, of our own resources, of our own plans and our own opinions and totally submit to the Holy Spirit, TRUST Him, LISTEN and OBEY or else we will not follow Jesus, we will not do what is pleasing to Him.

As long as we lean on our own understanding and we are adamant about our own opinion we are in direct opposition, in rebellion against Jesus Christ because then we elevate ourselves and we think that we are God, we think that we are more clever and more wise than Him and we will not follow in His plan. God is not interested in our opinions or in our plans.

Jesus Christ is LORD and if we follow Him, we serve HIM as LORD. Wisdom that comes from the mind of man is satanic and in rebellion against God. Unless we deny ourselves, deny our own opinions and our own ways we cannot follow Jesus and we cannot be pleasing to Him, we cannot be part of the kingdom of God because we will not submit ourselves to Jesus. What He requires of us is utter and total submission to Him, We cannot please Jesus unless we submit to Jesus and totally obey Him.

Relationship is HARD WORK

A successful relationship requires extremely hard work and that is why most relationships fail. That is why most marriages fail, it is because the partners are not willing to work hard at that relationship.

That is also the reason why most believers will not have eternal life. They are not willing to work on their relationship with Jesus. They are not willing to go after Him. They are not willing to deny themselves, pick up their cross and follow Jesus Christ every day. Therefor they will not have eternal life.

Are you willing to put EVERYTHING into your relationship with Jesus? Are you willing to sacrifice yourself , your own will, your own pleasures, your own desires, in order to be pleasing to Jesus? If you are not willing to put everything into your relationship with Jesus Christ, you will not have eternal life.

Jesus gave everything for us and He requires of us that we put EVERYTHING into our relationship with Him. If we cannot OBEY Jesus and be pleasing to Him, we will not have eternal life.

Do not follow your spouse

Many believers will end up in hell because they chose to rather please their husband, their wife, their children or a friend than to obey and please Jesus. Remember Adam and Eve. Adam was seduced by Eve. Remember Samson and Delilah. Remember the words of Jesus Christ in Luke 14:26,27 “If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple. “Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.” We cannot be pleasing to Jesus if we do not totally devote ourselves to Him and OBEY Him. If you want eternal life you have to TOTALLY OBEY Jesus Christ. If you allow your wife, your husband, anybody else, to come in between you and Jesus it can mean the end of your relationship with Jesus and you will perish, you will spend eternity in hell. If you want to follow Jesus you must GO where He sends you and you must DO what He tells you and not allow anything or anybody to prevent you from obeying Him. May Jesus bless you.
