When the door closes

Many people believe that they are saved and they think that they can serve Jesus in their own way. They interpret the Bible their way, they go to church, they debate with other people but they have no relationship with Jesus Christ. Not many people will be saved, only those who follow Jesus and OBEY Him, who serve Him HIS WAY, those who reply WHRN HE CALLS, those who listen to His voice and follow Him, who DO what He tells them to do. On occasion they asked Jesus whether those who are being saved are few. I read from Luke 13:23.
“Then said one unto Him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, 24Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and He shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in Thy presence, and Thou hast taught in our streets. 27But He shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.”
Many people think that because they go to church and they fellowship with other believers that they are children of God. It is only when you OBEY Jesus, when you WAIT ON HIM, when you SERVE HIM that you have a relationship with Him. Many of those who go to church, who believed that they are saved will stand before Jesus and He will say to them:”Go away I never knew you.” You cannot serve God your way. You cannot respond to Him when you wish. When Jesus calls you must go. YOU GO WHERE HE SENDS YOU AND YOU DO WHAT HE TELLS YOU TO DO, WHEN HE TELLS YOU TO DO IT, or else He will say to you ”Go away I never knew you.”
Once the door is closed many people will knock on that door and say:”Lord, Lord!” And He will say to them: “I don't know you! Go away! I don't know where you are from.” Most believers do not know Jesus, most believers WILL NOT FOLLOW HIM. Most believers do not serve Jesus, they serve themselves. What will Jesus say to YOU and to ME when we stand before Him? Did we respond when He called us? Did we go where He sent us and did we do what He told us to do?
Those with ears will hear!

May Jesus bless you.

The door closed

Last night I had a dream. My wife and I were working for the Lord Jesus and then suddenly the door was closed. I knew it was the end, the end of time. There were not many people inside and those inside were sad for those who had not made it.
Jesus said narrow is the door and straight is the gate that leads to eternal life and few there be that find it. Jesus said we must strive hard to enter the narrow door because many will try very hard and not be able. Will you find the narrow door? Will you enter into the kingdom of heaven? Are you trying very hard?
We can know whether Jesus is pleased with us. We must just ask Him for confirmation but we have to strive hard, follow Him, listen, obey and DO His will. We must stay with Him until the very, very end. Are you striving hard and has Jesus confirmed to you that He is pleased with you?

May Jesus bless you.

The door will close - no deathbed repentance

Many people are hoping on a chance for a deathbed repentance. They don’t want to serve Jesus now. They first want to go and enjoy their lives and when it suits them they want to come back and serve the Lord. They don’t want to serve Jesus but they don’t want to go into hell. So they think that they can come back when it suits them but it won’t happen because God will close the Door on you.
We read in: Luke 13:23 "And someone said to Him, “Lord, are there just a few who are being saved?” And He said to them, 24“Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25“Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘Lord, open up to us!’ then He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from.’ 26“Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets’; 27and He will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from; DEPART FROM ME, ALL YOU EVILDOERS.’ 28“In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Once the Door is closed, you will cry out in vain. I recall the story of a man on his death bed, he was also hoping on a deathbed repentance and while he lay there, he was crying out to God and he had his hand in the air and he was groping, looking for the knob of the door and he was saying:"I cannot find the door! I cannot find the Door!" and he died, without finding the door. Are you also hoping on a deathbed repentance? Do you also want to enjoy your life now and come back to Jesus when it suites you? The door might just be closed.
Today is the day of salvation. Seek the Lord while He MIGHT BE FOUND. Tomorrow might be forever too late. Tomorrow you might cry out to Jesus but the door might be closed.
May Jesus bless you.
