Reading your Bible every day and praying cannot save you. You need to DO what is written in your Bible. You need to OBEY Jesus Christ and live in close relationship with Him moment by moment. Many people live like the devil and every night diligently they read their Bible and they say a quick prayer, they ask forgiveness for the same sins every day and the next day they go back to living for themselves, for the lust of the flesh. They are exactly the same as the rest of the world but they believe that reading their Bible and praying every night is sufficient to get them into heaven. They are UTTERLY DECEIVED because they do not know Jesus Christ neither do they follow or OBEY Him.

You need to OBEY Jesus Christ, live in close relationship with Him, deny yourself every day, pick up your cross and follow Jesus Christ. DO as Jesus commanded as is also recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

Jesus said:”Why do you call Me Lord, Lord and you do not what I say?” If you do not OBEY Jesus Christ, REPENT of sin, be baptized in water for the washing off of your sins and live in close relationship with Him MOMENT BY MOMENT until the end, then you will perish! Reading your Bible and reciting a prayer will not save you. Get to know Jesus for REAL, OBEY Him and SERVE Him or you will end up in hell.

Praying IN THE SPIRIT

Prayer brings us into UNITY with God. It is not sufficient for us just to pray with our mind but we need to pray in the Spirit, WITH the Holy Spirit of God. When we pray we need to TUNE IN to the Holy Spirit and let the Spirit of God FILL our mind with the mind of Christ so that we will know what to rightfully pray.
The apostle Paul writes in Romans 8:26 that we do not know rightfully what to pray but but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. When we come into unison with the Spirit of God then the MIND OF CHRIST is instilled/implanted into us. He puts into our mind those things that are important for the Spirit of God and we can pray ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD. We can intercede according to the WILL OF THE SPIRIT and we come into unity with God.
Prayer is not just a matter of reciting your grocery list to God:”Forgive me this and forgive me that, and give me this and give me that.” NO, it is COMING INTO CLOSE RELATIONSHIP with Jesus Christ through His Spirit. We have to SPEND TIME WITH THE LORD and let His Spirit permeate us and FILL us with the MIND OF CHRIST then we will be able to pray according to the will of God and we will also KNOW the MIND of Christ.

God answers prayer

God answers prayer. Without Jesus we can do nothing, but God does not answer the prayers of the wicked. If you have sin in your life or you are in a sinful relationship then that separates you from God and you are wicked and God will not answer your prayer.

If you repent of sin, God will answer your prayer. IF YOU DO NOT REPENT YOU WILL PERISH IN HELL IN ANY CASE.

If you go to God in prayer you must be serious. If you pray you must mean it, you must pray from your heart. God despises hypocrites, He despises the prayers of those who are false. He hates falsehood. IF YOU ARE NOTO SERIOUS WHEN YOU PRAY, DON'T PRAY BECAUSE THE WRATH OF GOD WILL COME ON YOU. When you go to God you have to be serious, you have got to humble yourself before Him, repent of your sin, be pure and holy or else He will not answer your prayer and you will end up in hell.

ONE SINGLE SIN WILL MAKE YOU END UP IN HELL. WITHOUT HOLINESS NO MAN SHALL SEE GOD. Without holiness no man will come into the presence of God. It is time to repent, it is time to be holy, it's time to cry out to the living God or else you will perish. Without Jesus you can do nothing. Repent or you will perish.

Pray and He will answer you because He cares for you but He does not care for sin. If you are serious about eternity, REPENT RIGHT NOW! SEEK JESUS RIGHT NOW! REPENT OF ALL YOUR SIN and He will answer you. Cry out until He answers you because He is waiting for you. But you need to be serious. Get serious with Jesus, PRAY and He will answer your prayer.

LIFE CHANGING PRAYER

Many believers say that they cannot pray for a long time, they don't know what to pray, they quickly run out of words. I want to teach you a life changing way of praying. When you wake up in the morning, go on your knees and start thanking Jesus Christ for everything that He has given you. Thank Him for the new day, praise Him for your health, for everything that He has given you. Count your blessings, let your mind go back on all those things that the Lord has given you and praise Jesus. You will not run out of words, you might run out of time. You might have to carry on with your daily tasks but that does not mean that you need to stop thanking and praising Jesus. Don't stop praising Him, don't stop thanking Him. Keep your focus on Him and you will see the hand of God in everything around you. You will see the hand of God moving in your life. You will see how YOU change, how things around you change because of the power of God that flows through you when you praise Jesus Christ, the Living God. If you want the power of God in your life, THANK HIM, and PRAISE HIM and NEVER STOP! May Jesus bless you.

How to pray

The prayer that Jesus taught the disciples to pray was the simplest of all prayers but it includes everything that we need to pray. Firstly we give glory to God and honor and praise:”Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name, Thy kingdom come...” We pray for His kingdom to come, for His will to be done, not our will. “Give us this day our daily bread...” Bread for the body, the physical but bread for the soul also. Man shall not live from bread alone but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. If we pray and we expect that Bread of Life, He will speak to us also and give us bread for our souls. “Forgive us our trespasses as we HAVE FORGIVEN those who have trespassed against us...” We ask forgiveness because we have also forgiven those who have sinned against us, or else we cannot expect forgiveness. “Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil...” We ask His protection, we pray that He guide our footsteps and then we will be safe. What more do we need? That is ALL WE NEED. If we pray the Lord's prayer and TRUST Him we need nothing more because then we have prayed everything that we need to pray, but we need to TRUST HIM, not just say the words, an idle repetition of words means nothing to the Lord. If it does not come from the heart it is useless. We must pray with all our heart and it will be done for us. May Jesus bless you.

The Secret of Prayer

We receive many requests of people that say to us:”Please pray for me!”

I want to share with you a principle of prayer. Let us read in Job 42:10”And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job WHEN HE PRAYED FOR HIS FRIENDS, and the Lord increased all that Job had twofold.”

The one that prays for others is the person who gets blessed. If you want to be blessed, start praying for others. It is more blessed to give than to receive!

God Answers Obedient Children

God is a loving Father and He cares for His children, more than any earthly father can care for their children. God is also Almighty. There is nothing that He cannot do and He answers the prayers of His children, of those who obey Him, those who believe in Jesus and who obey His Words, which are the Words of the Father. If you are a child of God then you have access to the Father, you can pray and He will answer your prayer, every prayer is answered but you've got to TRUST HIM because He knows what is BEST for you. God cares for us, He is TRAINING us, He is TEACHING us how to be children of God. And often we ask for things and we don’t receive it and then we think that God did not answer our prayer, or He doesn’t care. HE CARES but we must TRUST HIM, we must be PATIENT, we must WAIT ON HIM, we must SEEK HIM. Jesus said: "Seek FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS and ALL the other things will be ADDED to you." We want that we want and we ask God for something and then we want it NOW but God knows what He wants to achieve in us. He knows what is best for us. We must fit into God’s plan and there is nothing that God cannot do. But God uses everything, everything that happens in life He uses for our benefit. But we got to trust Him. As long as we are looking at that which we desire, that what I want from God, then I am not looking at Him. I must be looking at Him. I must seek HIS KINGDOM and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. I must seek to be PLEASING TO HIM. I must be holy and righteous and then He will add all the other things to me. I must be an OBEDIENT CHILD who PATIENTLY WAITS ON his FATHER. He rewards those who DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM, who TRUST HIM. All God’s promises are conditional. If you OBEY, IF you WAIT ON HIM DILIGENTLY, IF you SEEK HIS KINGDOM, IF you TRUST HIM, if you don’t trust Him, He won’t help you. We must set our focus, our sight on God, on the Kingdom of God and then we will see Him answering our prayers. But if we do not seek Him DILIGENTLY, if we do not TRUST Him, WAIT on Him PATIENTLY, EXPECTANTLY, don’t expect to receive anything from God. Come to God as your FATHER, OBEY HIM and RESPECT HIM as FATHER and He will treat you as His beloved child. May Jesus bless you.

Why no miracles?

God has not changed. Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever. The reason why people do not see and experience miracles is because they do not pray. They have no relationship with Jesus, they do not believe in Him, they do not follow Him. They do not receive because they do not ask. Ask and you will receive and your joy will be full and then you must honor God. You must testify and tell the world what Jesus has done for you. And if you do not have a testimony, if you do not experience any miracles, then you surely do not know Jesus!

You will receive POWER

Many believers are very eager to follow Jesus but they lack the power to stop sinning, to stand against the temptations of the devil, to go out and testify. The reason is that they need the Holy Spirit power of God to enable them to stand against the devil, to overcome.

Peter was a very brave disciple and He said to Jesus: “Lord I will go with You even through death!” Jesus said to him:”Peter, before the cock crows you will deny me three times,” which actually happened.

But after the resurrection Jesus commanded the disciples to go to Jerusalem and WAIT for the Holy Spirit because, He said: (Acts 1:8) “But you shall receive POWER when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be My witnesses...” After the Holy Spirit came on them Peter was a changed man. He stood up on the day of Pentecost and he started preaching. We read in Acts 2:38 “And Peter said to them, “Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39“For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God shall call to Himself.”

We need the POWER of the Holy Spirit but we need to go and WAIT on the Lord for that power. The disciples were waiting on the day of Pentecost. They were of one accord WAITING fro the Holy Spirit that God had promised. THEY WERE PERSISTANTLY AND EXPECTANTLY WAITING, and that is how we need to go and WAIT on the Lord, EXCPECTANTLY, asking Him, pleading Him:”Lord, give me the POWER of the Holy Spirit so that I can have the power to overcome.”

We read in Isaiah 40:30 “Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly,31Yet those who WAIT for the LORD will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.”

We need to WAIT on the Lord in prayer, we need to spend time with the Lord, fast, pray, wait on the Lord. Ask Him for the power and WAIT until you receive the power of the Holy Spirit so that you can go out in His power. The disciples went out in the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT and God performed miracles through them. Jesus said:”These signs will follow for those who have believed...” But those were the ones who had waited on the Lord.

Go WAIT on the Lord and He will give you power from on high and you will be able to stand against the whiles of the devil. YOU WILL RECEIVE POWER if you wait on the Lord in prayer.

If YOU WANT TO Jesus will help you

If you WANT TO STOP SINNING, JESUS will help you.  If you WANT TO FOLLOW JESUS, HE will help you to OBEY HIS WORDS.  Jesus said: Whoever WISHES to come after Me, let him DENY himself, pick up his cross every day and follow Me.  He said: Narrow is the road and straight is the gate that enters into the Kingdom of Heaven and FEW there will be that find it. If you want to find that NARROW DOOR, JESUS will help you, but you need to WANT TO and you need to ASK HIM to help you.  If you don’t want to, HE WILL NOT FORCE YOU, but you need to WANT TO.  You need to TRY with all the POWER that you have and when your power runs out, then He will give you the POWER TO OVERCOME.  Jesus will not let you down. But you and I NEED TO WANT TO and we NEED TO ASK HIM.  We need to be PRAYING and STAY FOCUSED ON HIM all the time and then we will overcome.  Without Jesus, we can do nothing.  But if we WANT TO, He will make us succeed.

Effective Prayer

We cannot pray effectively if we pray with our minds and that is why Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit so that we can EFFECTIVELY PRAY and WORSHIP GOD.  As Jesus said to the woman at the well. I read from John 4:23-24 "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the TRUE WORSHIPERS shall worship the Father in SPIRIT and in TRUTH; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth." We can pray with our mind but we need the Holy Spirit of God in us, so that we can pray in the Spirit according to the will of God and that is why Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to those who have accepted Him and who are following Him in truth.
Paul wrote in Romans 8:26-27 ” In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He (The Spirit) who searches the hearts KNOWS what the mind of the Spirit is, because He INTERCEDES for the SAINTS ACCORDING to the WILL OF GOD. “ We don’t know the will of God and therefore we cannot PRAY the will of God. We can just pray the things that are important to us, we can pray according to our mind but we NEED HELP and that is why Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit to HELP us PRAY according to the will of God. Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 14:15 He says "what is the outcome then, I shall pray with the Spirit and I shall pray with the mind also;“ In order to be able to pray effectively, we need the Holy Spirit.  We need to be able to pray in TONGUES.  We don’t know what we are praying but we are praying mysteries to God according to the will of God by the Holy Spirit dwelling in us and praying according to the will of God.  We read that in 1 Corinthians 14:2 He says, "for the one who SPEAKS IN A TONGUE does not speak to men but to God; for no one understands, but in his Spirit he speaks mysteries.”
When you are praying in a tongue you are praying mysteries to God.  You are not praying with your mind, your mind is unfruitful but the Spirit of God that dwells in you together with your spirit prays mysteries according to the will of God. That is why we cannot effectively pray according to the will of God if we have NOT RECEIVED the HOLY SPIRIT.  We NEED the Holy Spirit of God to ASSIST us in praying according to the will of God.  And that is why we NEED the HOLY SPIRIT.  We NEED to be BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY SPIRIT and we NEED to RECEIVE THAT TONGUE which HE GIVES US, which will enable us to speak to God, mysteries that nobody understands. The devil does not even understand it.  I don’t understand it, you don’t understand it, nobody understands it but the SPIRIT OF GOD, PRAYS MYSTERIES unto GOD and that is why the POWER OF GOD works through those who WORSHIP HIM in SPIRIT and in TRUTH.

Jesus always answers IN TIME

People say that they pray and they don’t get an answer. Dear friend, Jesus Christ is FAITHFUL and whoever CALLS on Him will get the right answer at the right time. We just need to TRUST HIM. The reason why we often don’t get an answer is because we are focused on the wrong things. If we are focused on the Kingdom of God, on pleasing Jesus, then we quickly get the right answer, we get wisdom and understanding. He cares for you dear friend. Many of the things that we worry about are not to be worried about, they are not important. They are not important to the Kingdom of God. It is not about you and me, what is important is the Kingdom of God. Jesus will never let you down dear friend, just be patient and trust Him when you pray. He will answer in time, He won’t let you down. Quite often we are unbelieving and while praying we are already scheming on how to solve the problem that we are praying about. Then He will not answer you, because you don’t believe Him and you don’t trust Him. Jesus answers the prayers of those who trust in Him and who wait on Him and then they give Him the glory. Jesus will NEVER let you down my friend. Jesus will always answer in time, because He cares and He is faithful.

Get alone with Jesus

If you want to follow Jesus, you need to get alone with Jesus often, my friend
as often as you can, you've got to make time to be alone with Jesus.
Be away from everything else, all distraction
away from the family, away from the house, away from whatever is bothering you
or that keeps you away from Jesus.
You must have a prayer closet
you must have a place where you go to be alone with Jesus
every day
during your day you have got to focus on Jesus
you have got to keep your mind on Him all day long
and you have got to focus on the Holy Spirit that He put inside of every believer
that's in your heart, He will speak to you, that soft voice
you have got to focus, you have got to LISTEN, every moment of your day,
but you have got to take time, every day and get alone with Jesus.
I am not talking time reading your Bible, or listening to videos, watching videos or reading a good book,
no, you have got to take time to be with Jesus alone, my friend
so that you can LISTEN
so that His Holy Spirit can speak to you
so that you can sit in His presence and say:
“Lord, speak to me
Lord, just put Your mind into my mind
put your Spirit into my mind
and reveal Yourself to me!
Father I need You!
I just want to be in Your presence Lord
I just want to hear Your voice!
Lord I am waiting on You.
Lord I need You!”
You have got to do that!
You have got to yearn for Jesus, like a person who is thirsty for water
You have got to yearn for Christ and say:
“Lord, teach me Your ways!
Lord come inhabit me
Lord, come guide me
See if there is something wrong in my life, that needs to be changed!
Lord speak to me, reveal Yourself to me!”
And He will come to you, my friend!
The more you do it, the more you practice yourself in seeking Christ
the closer that relationship becomes but if you don't have that, my friend
you will never know Jesus.
You've got to get alone with Jesus, my friend!
Because where you are alone with Christ, He will speak to you.
He will reveal all things to you!
He will open it up to you!
He will reveal to you things to come, He will reveal to you things about yourself.
He will tell you how He sees you!
He will put your priorities right.
But you have to spend time in the presence of the living God.
Take time out, say: “Lord, I need You. Lord speak to Me! Lord I just want to be in your presence, here”
Every day, my friend!
Jesus is God. He is God almighty and if He is your Lord
and if you want to spend eternity with Him
you have got to slip away and go and make time and say: “It is time for You,
it is time for me to be with You, Lord Jesus, you are the most important person in my life!”
My friend, if Jesus is not the LORD of your life,
do you know what the LORD is?
THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN YOUR LIFE
If He is not the most important person in your life
then He is not your Lord.
You won't enter His Kingdom!
He has got to be your Lord!
To most people they themselves are their lord, everything is about them,
their comfort,
their pleasure,
their life!
Their future!
Without Jesus, my friend, you have NO FUTURE, you are DEAD!
You are heading ONE WAY FAST,
you are heading down that road where you are just going to fall down into the pit.
Because Jesus will say to you:”I never knew you!”
You have got to take time with Him, you have got to get alone with Jesus, my friend!
Just say:”Lord teach me, show me, reveal Yourself to me.”
That is the only way you are going to get to know Him, my friend.
There is NO OTHER WAY!
GET TO KNOW JESUS, HE WILL SPEAK TO YOU!
He will guide you.
He will put His mind into you
He will show you things, He will send you
He will use you
He will prepare you, He will make you holy
He will teach you, HIS WAYS
He will reveal Himself to you in a mighty way,
but you have got to take time to be with Jesus ALONE!
Seek Him! Seek Him, my friend and you will find Him!
There is only ONE WAY to find Jesus and that is to be alone with Him!
Go on your knees, seek Him.
He is God almighty! He is waiting for you, and for me!
The only way to get into heaven, my friend is to know Jesus, to spend time with Him
because if you spend time with Him
you will OBEY HIM
you won't have a problem with sin or the things of this world
because if JESUS IS LORD in your life, then you will OBEY HIM,
then you will go into His Kingdom!
He is your King, He is your Lord!
If you don't have time for Him, He won't have time for you!
He will say to you:”Go away, I never knew you!”

Repent first - Then pray - God is not hearing you

God does not listen to the prayers of sinners. A sinner is a person who willfully sins. He knows what he is doing is wrong and he is continuing in it. Sin separates us from God and if we want our prayers answered we must first get rid of the sin. First REPENT, stop sinning, get that sin out of your life! Then you can go to God with confidence and pray, and He will answer your prayer. The judgment of God comes on people, His punishment comes on them because of sin. It is because they continue with willful sin that things go wrong in their lives and that is why God is not listening to their prayers. Dear friend, if you want God to answer your prayer, REPENT FIRST, come with a pure heart before Him and say:”Lord I am sorry, I am sorry about the sins I have done. I am not going to do it any more! I am finishing with sin, NOW!” If you come with that attitude, then God will accept you. He will answer your prayer. He will listen to you. Dear friend, if you are in willful sin, if you are doing things that you know that God hates, you cannot come before Him with confidence because He will not hear you, He will not listen to you. God loves you but if we love sin more than God, then God will not listen to our prayers. Repent first and then He will accept you. Get rid of the sin and He will listen to your prayers because He loves you and He cares for you.

In His Presence

Many Christians find it difficult to spend time in prayer. They run out of words and thoughts and don’t know what to pray. What they do not realize is that we are in the presence of God every moment of our lives. Nothing is hidden from His sight ever. God knows everything, even the intentions of our hearts. He knows our thoughts, our worries, fears and all our emotions.

For a Christian, Jesus Christ is Lord, King, Master of every moment of his life. Every thought is shared with Jesus and every moment is lived for Jesus. No decision is taken without first referring it to Jesus for His guidance. A born again Christian lives only for Jesus, not for himself or for sin. He has no pleasure in the world or the things of the world. Since the moment Jesus came into your heart you only have one desire, to please Jesus.

If you do not any desire to be with Jesus , or to pray, there is something seriously wrong with your relationship with Jesus. Only those who love Jesus and want to be with Him, will enter His kingdom. If you never loved Jesus that much that you wanted to be with Him every moment, then you have never met Him. If you did once love him that much but your feelings have disappeared you need to repent, plead for forgiveness, ask Jesus to remove the stone heart in you and replace it with His love.

The only way that we get to know Jesus is through a constant relationship, making ourselves aware of His presence every moment. Make time to be alone with Jesus. Remove all sources of interruption, switch of the cell phone and TV. (A Christian should not own a TV) A good time is at night, when everybody is asleep. Get up and be alone with Jesus. Wait on Him silently. He will speak to you, into your heart. Spend time in His presence as though you were in His mighty presence before His throne. He will reveal Himself to you.

If you don’t have a desire to be with Him now, you never will. You will come to the end of your life and Jesus will say to you: Go away, I never knew you. Make time now, seek Him with all your heart. Get to know Him before it is forever too late. Spend time in His presence every day.
