Who is your father?

Like father, like son. A child follows in the footsteps of his father. He imitates his father in everything. Jesus Christ is the image of God the Father and He came to show us how God is. Jesus came to show us how we should be.
Jesus said:”Be ye perfect like your Father in heaven in perfect.” and He showed us HOW to be perfect, If we follow Jesus Christ and we are children of God, then we will be like Jesus! We will want to be like our Father, PERFECT!
Are we following the example of Jesus Christ? Are we LIKE OUR FATHER? WHO is our father? From our behavior people can see who our father is. Who is YOUR father and mine? Who are we like?
Do we have the likeness of Jesus and of God, or are we like satan? Who is our father, God or the devil?

Real Christians

Real Christians are followers of Jesus Christ. They only have one thing on their mind and that is JESUS and being pleasing to Him in every thought and in every deed. Their mind is not set on the things of the world and on themselves. They seek to please their Master.

They are His sheep, they LISTEN to His voice and they follow Him. Nothing is more important to them than abiding in His words, DOING what He commanded. His words are always their meditation, they are always thinking of the words of Jesus as they are also written in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. They are always praying, they seek to be close to Jesus. Their spirit is united with Him. The things of the world make no sense to them. They LISTEN to Jesus, they FOLLOW Him, they GO where He sends them and they DO what he tells them to do. They are not of this world. They are of Jesus Christ their Lord and Master and of His kingdom. They are not interested in the rat race. They are not interested in being accepted by men. They are not interested in religion. All that matters to them is Jesus Christ.

Are you a REAL CHRISTIAN? Are you a REAL follower of Jesus? Do you look like Jesus? Are you also like Him hated, rejected and persecuted? Are you like His first followers who were most of them killed because they loved Jesus and they LIVED like Him. Do you live like Jesus? Do you look like Jesus or are you like the world? Are you a true follower of Jesus Christ or are you just a fake?

What you are

You are what you do. You become like the one whom you are following. The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God. Parents want to teach their children to do good while they themselves are wicked. We can only teach our children to follow and to obey Jesus if we ourselves are following Him.

If we ourselves are wicked and we are on our way to hell then we are taking our children to hell with us. The question is: Are we ourselves, obeying Jesus and doing what is pleasing to Him? Or are we taking the next generation to hell with us? Who are we following, Jesus Christ, or our own desires?

Enlightened Believers

Those who follow Jesus Christ are never in darkness because Jesus Himself is the Light of the world and He lights up their way. He gives His Holy Spirit to those who OBEY Him, who REPENT and are BAPTIZED IN WATER and who diligently SEEK HIM. The Holy Spirit is with them always, guiding them, teaching them, coaching them and disciplining them, confirming to them whether Jesus is still pleased with them or not. They are never in darkness. But most believers do not have the Holy Spirit. They are blind follower of people, they follow after doctrines of people, they follow after their own interpretation of the Bible, their own opinions, that is why they are in darkness. Without Jesus we can do nothing. Without the Holy Spirit we are LOST, we are without guidance. You can know the Bible and you can know other believers and have fellowship with them but if you are not led by the Holy Spirit YOU ARE IN DARKNESS and you are LOST. His sheep LISTEN to His voice and they FOLLOW Him. Those who are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God. Have you received the Holy Spirit? Are you led by the Holy Spirit? Or are you in darkness? Are you LOST? Blind faith will not get you into the kingdom of Heaven, you need to KNOW the ONE in whom you believe. You need to KNOW His voice, LISTEN to HIM and FOLLOW Him. His sheep know His voice. They will not run after strangers. Do you know HIS voice and do you follow HIM? Or do you trust in yourself, in other people? Are you led by the Holy Spirit or are you in darkness? Jesus promised His Holy Spirit to everyone who believes. If you don't have the Holy Spirit, get on your knees and cry out to Jesus, seek Him with all your heart UNTIL He gives you the Holy Spirit or else you will perish because you will not find the way.
