By Faith Not Presumption

“The righteous will live by faith and if he withdraws My soul will have no pleasure in him,” that is what the Lord says because without faith it is impossible to please God. You can only WALK BY FATH if you have HEARD FROM GOD because faith comes from the hearing of the Word of God. If God has spoken to you and you have HEARD what He said, you BELIEVE IT and TAKE ACTION.

Many people WALK BY PRESUMPTION not by faith. They jump to conclusions or they claim to “step out in faith.” If you have not HEARD FROM GOD you have NO SUBSTANCE for your faith, then you are on your own, you are on your own initiative following your own mind and your own thoughts. You have to HEAR FROM GOD and then ACT on what YOU HAVE HEARD. Then you can be walking by faith.

Are you HEARING from the Lord? Are you WAITING on Him? Do you LISTEN when He speaks to you? Are you living by faith or by presumption? “Those who are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God.” You cannot follow Jesus by presuming things, by reading the Bible and then presuming certain things. You have to get CONFIRMATION from Him. If you are not sure, PRAY and ASK Him and He will speak to you. He CAN SPEAK, He is God. Wait on Him, LISTEN and OBEY, ACT on that which He TELLS you and then only can you walk by faith.

Small minds

Most people live in a confined little world. It is about THEIR circumstances, THEIR race, THEIR country, THEIR opinion, THEIR church, THEIR preservation, they live in a very small world that centers around themselves. Jesus Christ said that UNLESS YOU ARE BORN AGAIN you cannot SEE the kingdom of God.
If you are born of the Spirit of God then you become part of God's UNIVERSE. You are not confined to your own small world any more. You don't think in terms of ME and MINE, OURS, US and everything about my small little world but we start seeing things in terms of the kingdom of God. We care for HIS Kingdom for HIS people. We get an Universal outlook on life because we can see the kingdom of God. We can see that God cares for everybody, God loves everybody and therefor we also have to LOVE our neighbor, CARE for others, DO unto them as we wish them to do unto us. We care for God's UNIVERSE. Have you become part of the Kingdom of God? Are you born again or are you still confined to YOUR little world, YOUR beliefs, YOUR church, YOUR circumstances? Are you still confined? Or has Jesus Christ set you free? Are you living in HIS world and does HE determine your life?

Feeding your soul

Input determines output, garbage in - garbage out. Whatever we feed our souls with is what we will become and what we will produce. If we watch pornography and play violent video games, if we listen to the news all day, then that is what will be on our mind. If we watch TV all day we will be brainwashed by whatever lies are presented to us all the time. That becomes our reality.

If we want eternal life then we have to meditate on and absorb, believe and ponder the words of Jesus Christ, as also written in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. That must become our reality. We must be praying. Our mind must be on Jesus Christ all the time. He must be our reality.

Whatever seed we plant in our soul will grow and it will either produce bad fruit unto destruction or good fruit unto eternal life. What is our spiritual diet? With what are we feeding our soul? Is our mind on Jesus Christ and on seeking to be pleasing to Him. Are His words constantly on our mind or are we busy with things that will cause us to end up in damnation?

The power of YOUR tongue

Life and death, success and failure is in our tongue, in that which we speak. If we speak failure we will fail, but if we speak LIFE, the words of Jesus Christ then we will live. Many people disqualify themselves, they say: “I cannot stop sinning, I cannot succeed, I cannot make it,” and they will not succeed. If you do not stop sinning and obey Jesus Christ you disqualify yourself for the kingdom of heaven because no sinners will enter the kingdom of God. Man shall not live from bread alone but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, IF we BELIEVE and PRACTICE those words. Jesus guides us by His Holy Spirit, He speaks to us, He guides us and we can do all things through Jesus Christ who gives us the power, IF we BELIEVE it and we CONFESS it and we DO it. But if we doubt it and we listen to the devil and we start saying: “I cannot do this, I cannot do that , I cannot stop sinning,” then you will never succeed. You will fail and you will perish. LISTEN to the Spirit of God, that which He plants inside of you. Confess it and DO it. Practice the words that Jesus Christ plants in you and you will overcome. I can do all things through Jesus Christ who gives me the power. I can overcome. I can do the will of God. I can be pleasing to Jesus Christ. He said:”Be ye perfect like your Father in heaven is perfect.” I can be perfect by His power that He puts in me. May Jesus bless you.

A depraved mind - they cannot stop sinning

God is a loving Father and He only wants to give us the very, very best.  The wages of sin is death and it is not the will of God that any man perish and therefore God has given in each of us a built in check, our CONSCIENCE, that tells us RIGHT from WRONG, but God will never stop us from doing what we want to do.  He will not stand in our way if we want to go wrong, but if we CHOOSE to DO WRONG then the WRATH OF GOD comes on us. I read from Romans 1:18 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against ALL UNGODLINESS and UNRIGHTEOUSNESS of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.” If we continue in our error and our evil ways then God delivers us, He hands us over to our evil.  We read in :24 “Therefore God GAVE THEM OVER to the lusts of their hearts to impurity :26 For this reason God GAVE THEM OVER to degrading passions :28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God GAVE THEM OVER to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper,:29-32 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.”
What has happened to these people, why have they gone rotten.  So many people have gone totally rotten.  God has given them OVER to a depraved mind, to a useless mind.  There is no preservation anymore, no salt anymore.  They are delivered to the evil. They are delivered to their desires so that they can be destroyed in the wrath of God.  If we PERSIST in our EVIL then God will deliver us to that evil.  That is why so many believers say that they CANNOT STOP SINNING.  They have been DELIVERED to their sins, they have been DELIVERED to their vices.  God handed them OVER to a depraved mind.  Dear friend, has God handed you over or are you serious with Jesus? Do you really want to follow Him?

Sins of the Mind

God is holy and He is pure, He does not tolerate any impurity or any sin and therefore a disciple of Jesus Christ will be pure in every aspect of His life, including His mind. Our minds must be pure, they must be set on Christ. Jesus said that if you look at a woman to desire her, you have already committed adultery in your mind, you are an adulterer. If you get mad at somebody and you wish you could kill him, or hit him you are an aggressor and a murderer in the sight of God. God says: Vengeance is mine, I will repay. We’ve got to be pure in every aspect of our lives. Many people are married and while they are with their partner being intimate, they are fantasizing about somebody else, or they are fantasizing about a celebrity that they saw on the television or in a movie because they defiled their mind with all those things that they gobbled up and therefore they are dirty inside. They are not suitable for the Kingdom of God. We as children of God are a Temple of the Holy Spirit and we’ve got to be pure and holy. God does not live in a filthy Temple and He does not share that Temple with demons. Many Christians have got demons in them, they’ve allowed those demons of lust into them and those demons drive them. They’ve got no control over themselves. Lust for immorality, some were born with immorality, they were born with those demons inside of them and they’ve got to get delivered. But we must become honest dear friends. If we want to follow Jesus, we must be pure and holy. It’s not a matter of putting the blame on somebody, it is a matter of: Am I pure, am I holy? Can I stand with clean Hands and a pure heart before my Lord? Can I live in His presence? Can His Holy Spirit function through me? Am I a clean and a holy vessel or am I defiled by the sins and the impurities of my mind? It is not acceptable for the Kingdom of God. This world allows all kinds of immorality and that is how they catch people. That is how the devil leads you into temptation. If you allow your eyes and your mind to go into those things and to fill you, and then it leads you into sin. But God looks at our hearts, the motive in our heart, He knows our mind. He knows the wickedness of man inside. We’ve got to purify ourselves dear friend, if we want Jesus to live in us, if we want to become one with God. Eternal Life is knowing Jesus Christ and God the Father. And if you want to know Jesus and you want to know God the Father and live with them forever. You’ve got to be pure and holy in every aspect of your life. Your marriage bed must be holy and pure. You must be pure dear friend, no impurity, no lust, no lust for the things of the world but only a pure heart a yearning for Jesus, for the Spirit of God to fill you so that you can be led by the Spirit of God and that He can work through you. We’ve got to be pure and holy friends. We must PURIFY ourselves of every evil of every bad thought and set our mind on Christ. That is what He requires of us. May Jesus bless you.
