Will you serve?

All those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Master have the POTENTIAL to become children of God and to become part of the Kingdom of God. They have the POTENTIAL to become heirs of the Kingdom of God but very few people are interested in Jesus Christ, in serving Him and in the Kingdom of God.

Most people go after their own affairs, they seek their own advancement. Jesus said that if we wish to follow Him and become part of His Kingdom then we need to deny ourselves, pick up our cross every day and follow Him. We need to ABANDON our own desires, our own ambitions and the Kingdom of God needs to become our ambition. We need to seek to advance the Kingdom of God. If you are not born again you cannot SEE the Kingdom of God, you cannot UNDERSTAND IT. You first need to be born again of the Spirit of God and of water (baptism) and then you can SEE the Kingdom of God, it becomes real to you. Jesus said:”Seek ye first the ADVANCEMENT OF THE Kingdom of God and His RIGHTEOUSNESS and then all the other things will be added unto you, you will become and heir of the Kingdom of God. Jesus calls us to SERVE the Kingdom of God but very few people are interested in serving, they want to serve themselves, their own lusts, their own desires, their own ambitions. If we do not take ownership, possession, interest in the Kingdom of God, then we will not have an inheritance!

Believers want eternal life, they don't want to go to hell but they don't want Jesus ether, neither are they interested in the Kingdom of God. They don't want to SERVE, they call it a WORKS GOSPEL. They don't want to work for the Kingdom of God. They don't seek the ADVANCEMENT of the Kingdom of God. They are not seeking the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God, His STANDARD and therefor they do not become part of the Kingdom of God. We cannot serve and advance the Kingdom of God if we are not led by the Holy Spirit. We cannot work ON the Kingdom and FOR the Kingdom unless we serve the King, Jesus Christ. We need to KNOW Him, LOVE Him, FOLLOW Him and OBEY Him every day and DO what He tells us to do, GO where He sends us. Whatever the cost, we have to INVEST ourselves, sacrifice our own desires for the benefit of the Kingdom of God.

We must WILLINGLY serve Jesus. Jesus will MIGHTILY use those who make themselves available, who come and sit at His feet and WAIT on Him and say:”Lord, please use me as YOU please. YOU are my KING and my MASTER and I want to serve YOUR Kingdom.”

Few will serve, few will inherit that kingdom. Are you willing to SERVE the Kingdom of God? If you are not willing you will have no part in it! You wont have eternal life, you will not have Jesus! ARE YOU WILLING TO SERVE?

The Kingdom of God

The kingdom of God is about Jesus Christ about following HIM and about DOING HIS WILL. It is not about YOU or ME about our joy, our fun or our pleasure. It is about OBEDIENCE TO JESUS.

Jesus said that:”Whoever WISHES to come after Me must deny himself, pick up his cross every day and come here FOLLOW Me.” The kingdom of God is a STRUGGLE it is a TEST and it is only those who endure until the end that will win the prize of eternal life. The kingdom of God is promised to those who ENDURE UNTIL THE VERY END. They will not be many. Jesus called them “little flock.”

Are you part of the LITTLE FLOCK, the VERY FEW that will follow Jesus and endure until the very end.

The Slave Mentality

If you are a truly born again child of God then you love Jesus Christ and you WANT to DO what is pleasing to Him. You are not interested in the things of the world and neither are you hooked on the things of the world. Many believers say that they cannot stop sinning, they cannot stop watching pornography, they cannot stop watching TV or stop playing video games, they are hooked on those things, they are addicted, they are SLAVES. They are slaves to sin.

Jesus said that if a person sins he is a slave to sin. Whomever the Son of God has set free will be FREE and free indeed. If you are truly born again then your LOYALTY, your ALLEGIANCE lies with Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God and you have no business with sin, you gladly follow Jesus Christ and DO the will of God.

Many believers say they are saved by grace and not by works, they don't want to WORK for the kingdom of God. It is because they are SLAVES. They have a SLAVE MENTALITY, they are LAZY. They don't want to work for the kingdom of God because they do not belong to Jesus they do not BELONG the kingdom of God. If you are a child of God then you will become an heir of the kingdom of God, you will INHERIT the kingdom of God And therefor those who are truly born again WORK for the kingdom of God. They build the kingdom of God, they are not slaves they are sons. The SON WORKS HARDER THAN A SLAVE but WITHOUT REWARD and he doesn't care because he is working on his own inheritance. Many believers are working for the kingdom of God and getting paid, they are hirelings. The SLAVE does not remain in the house for ever but the son does. Those who have received their reward already will have no inheritance. It is those who apply themselves to the kingdom of God, who give up everything to follow Jesus and to obey Him, they are the sons of God and they have an expectation of an inheritance. They don't mind working for the kingdom of God, they don't mind testifying for Jesus, they are not ashamed of Jesus Christ because they are part of the kingdom of God, it is their life! Jesus is their life.

Are you a child of the kingdom of God or are you a slave with a slave mentality, a person who runs back to sin at the first opportunity, who finds it DIFFICULT to follow Jesus Christ? Where your treasure is there your heart will also be. Where is your treasure? Is your treasure in this world that will perish, and with all these things that will stay behind when you die? Or do you have a treasure in heaven? Do you have an inheritance that is waiting for you because you are WORKING ON IT RIGHT NOW, you are building on it, through your relationship with Jesus and your obedience to Him? Are you building the kingdom of God? Are you LIVING for the kingdom of God, bringing others to repentance and obedience to Jesus? Are you bringing souls into the kingdom of God or do you have a slave mentality? Do you want to do the minimum?

Do you go by the Book? Do you want to know what is in it for you? And do you stand on your RIGHTS? Or have you given up everything for Jesus? Is Jesus your reality or do you go by the Book, by the rules? The rules are for the slaves, the sons HEAR THE VOICE OF THE FATHER, they LISTEN to Jesus and they FOLLOW Him. Are you a slave or a son? Do you know the Master's voice and do you follow Him? May Jesus bless you.

Take ownership of your inheritance

Those who turn to Jesus Christ, who follow and obey Him are born again into the kingdom of God. They become part of the kingdom of God and they serve Jesus Christ as Lord but more than that, their inheritance is the kingdom of God itself IF they endure until the end, IF they follow Jesus Christ as Lord until the very end of their lives.

If we follow Jesus Christ we must now already take possession (ownership) and responsibility of the kingdom of God. We have to work for the kingdom of God and expand it, witness for Jesus and bring more souls into His kingdom so that the kingdom can grow. The kingdom is our inheritance IF we endure and follow Jesus Christ until the end. We must care for souls that are being lost. That same attitude that was in Jesus Christ, must be in us. We must do the same works that He did. He showed us the example. We must live and walk as Jesus walked in utter obedience to the Father.

Our purpose is to seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness and to build His kingdom. If we do not endure until the end we will not inherit that kingdom of God. We have to work on it NOW. If we are of the world then we don't have an expectation of the kingdom of God. If we are building kingdoms in this world then we are of the world. We have to be building the kingdom of God. Our focus must be on Jesus and on building His kingdom, our inheritance, IF WE ENDURE!

Jesus said that until John the baptist the Law and the Prophets was preached but since John the baptist the kingdom of God is preached and violent men take it by force! (Luke 16:16). Are you taking the kingdom of God by FORCE? Are you going after it with all your power, following, obeying and serving Jesus Christ? If you do not go after it with everything that is in you, you just won't make it!

The Kingdom is MOVING ON

The kingdom of God is moving on, it is growing every day. Every day more people are being born and those who decide to follow Jesus are added to His kingdom. Those who have become servants of the kingdom of God are laboring for His kingdom every day.

Have you become part of the kingdom of God and are you laboring for His kingdom? Those who are led by the Spirit of God, they are children of God. Are you being led by the Spirit of God and working in the kingdom of God or do you not belong to His kingdom?

Only faithful servants will enter the rest of the Master in the end. The unfaithful lazy servants will be cast into the Lake of Fire. Are YOU a faithful servant in the kingdom of God or do you refuse to serve the Master?

Your Inheritance from God

God promises His children a Kingdom. We are heirs and joint-heirs with Jesus of the Kingdom of Heaven. That is the promise of God, but many believers are not willing to work for that Kingdom to invest into that Kingdom. They just want to receive it. They don't want to obey God, they don't want to build onto the Kingdom of Heaven, they don't want to sow into the Kingdom of God. What do they expect to reap? What house do they expect to live in (in Heaven) if they are not willing to work for the Kingdom of God.

Whatever we sow, we will reap. Wherever our treasure is there our heart will also be. Are you working for the Kingdom of God? Do you have a treasure in the Kingdom of God? Are you sowing into the Kingdom of God? What do you expect your inheritance to be?
