It is NOT finished

Your troubles are not finished when you decide to follow Jesus Christ. It is then when your troubles start. It is then when your troubles and your trials and your struggle, when all of that starts and it will never end until the day that you die. Only those who ENDURE until the very end will be saved. Only those who follow Jesus UNTIL THE END will eventually be saved. When Jesus hung on that Cross and He gave up the ghost. He said: “It is finished.” It was then that, that which God had sent Him for, His mission, when that was finished.
But when we decide to follow Jesus Christ then our struggles start. Jesus said: “Whoever WISHES to come after Me, must deny himself, pick up his cross every day and come here follow Me.” When you start following Jesus then you have to start picking up your cross every day. You have to go through much tribulation, trials, temptations and OBEY JESUS. You have to OVERCOME until the very end. and if you ENDURE until the very end, then you will also be able to say the day that you die:”It is finished,” because your struggles do not end until you have COMPLETED the race, until you come to the end of the road that Jesus guided you along.
Do you pick up your cross, deny yourself and follow Jesus Christ every day? Do you hope to be able to say, “it is finished,” the day when you die?
