Fruit that will remain

The Holy Spirit reminded me of the Words of Jesus as also recorded in John 15:16.  "You did not choose Me but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain."  Jesus called us and he appointed us for a purpose.  And that purpose is that we will be FRUITFUL in the KINGDOM OF GOD and thereby glorify God the Father.  As we read in John 15:8 “By this is MY FATHER GLORIFIED, that you BEAR MUCH FRUIT and so PROVE to be MY DISCIPLES.” If we are indeed FRUITLESS, we are USELESS for the KINGDOM OF GOD and we will be CUT OFF and BURNED.  As Jesus also said in John 15:2 “EVERY BRANCH IN ME that DOES NOT BEAR FRUIT, HE TAKES AWAY and EVERY BRANCH that BEARS FRUIT, HE PRUNES IT so that it MAY BEAR MORE FRUIT.”
Many believers, many of those who are called by Jesus are UNFRUITFUL, they are NOT BEARING FRUIT for the Kingdom of God.  And the reason for that is, that they are not in Christ, they are NOT ABIDING IN JESUS, they are NOT STAYING WITH HIM.  There is something wrong with their RELATIONSHIP.  If our relationship with Jesus is RIGHT, then we will bear the right fruit.  We read in John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he BEARS MUCH FRUIT, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.”  The reason why people are not bearing fruit is because they are NOT IN CHRIST.  There is nothing wrong with Jesus, the mistake is with you and me, if we are UNFRUITFUL and we can only BEAR FRUIT if we PRAY, if we LISTEN and if we OBEY JESUS, if we are LED BY the HOLY SPIRIT.  We will be judged by our works and if we have no fruit on us, we will be CUT OFF.  Paul also wrote in Romans 2:6-11  He says "God will RENDER to every man ACCORDING to his DEEDS. to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; but to those who are SELFISHLY AMBITIOUS and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation. There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, for the Jew first and also of the Greek, but glory and honor and peace to every man who does good, to the Jew first but also to the Greek, for there is no partiality with God.”  The reason why many people are FRUITLESS is because they are SELFISHLY AMBITIOUS.  They keep on looking at other people what other people are doing and they are NOT MINDING their OWN RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST.  They are NOT OBEYING the HOLY SPIRIT.  They have taken their eye off Jesus Christ and they are looking at other people. They are WHINERS and COPMPLAINERS and FAULT FINDERS.  Dear friend, if we are busy with our brother and our sister, we are not busy with the Kingdom of God. We must EACH WORK OUT our OWN SALVATION with FEAR and TREMBLING and we must make sure that we BEAR FRUIT because we will be JUDGED by OUR DEEDS.
As Jesus also said in Matthew 16:27 He says "for the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and will then RECOMPENCE EVERY MAN ACCORDING to HIS DEEDS.”  We are called to be DISCIPLES.  A disciple is a SERVANT and we are called to make disciples, servants of the Kingdom of God that will BEAR FRUIT, that will make more disciples, that will glorify God the Father and that will fill up His House with those who are REDEEMED from the UNFRUITFUL WORKS of the FLESH.  Dear friends, if we DO NOT BEAR FRUIT that will LAST then we will be JUDGED by the BAD FRUIT that LASTS.  Our FRUIT must be GOOD because we will be judged by our DEEDS.  We must make sure that we REMAIN IN CHRIST, that we are LED BY the HOLY SPIRIT because if we are NOT LED by the SPIRIT our WORKS, our DEEDS are FRUTLESS because then they come from our own mind and our own initiative.  Jesus said WITHOUT ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING.  Dear friend, if that which you and I do are NOT FROM the HOLY SPIRIT then it is NOT FROM GOD.  Then it is from us, then it is the UNFRUITFUL WORKS of the FLESH.  We must be GUIDED by the HOLY SPIRIT we must be TAUGHT by the HOLY SPIRIT.  Jesus said in John 14:26 He says:  "But the HELPER, the HOLY SPIRIT, whom the Father will send in My Name, He will TEACH YOU ALL THINGS, and BRING to YOUR REMEMBRANCE ALL that I SAID to YOU.” There TRAINING was NOT COMPLETE (the disciples).  Jesus had not told them everything that they needed to know.  They had to WAIT for the HOLY SPIRIT to GUIDE them EVERY STEP of the WAY.  Dear friend, WITHOUT the HOLY SPIRIT you CANNOT BEAR FRUIT and you only get the Holy Spirit when you stay on your knees and when you PRAY and when you are LED BY the HOLY SPIRIT.  If you are LED by your MIND, then you become SELFISHLY AMBITIOUS and then you WORK from your FLESH and your FRUITS are of the FLESH.
Let us make sure that we DO what JESUS CALLED US TO DO.  He called us and He appointed us to BEAR FRUIT that will STAY, fruit that will stay until ETERNAL LIFE.
