We read in John 3:18 why men will be
judged. Jesus said:”This is the judgment, that the Light has come
into the world but men loved darkness more than Light because their
deeds were evil.” Jesus Christ is the Light of the world, and He
came into the world to expose darkness, to expose the sin of mankind,
to take away the sin of the world for those who WANT to be pure and
holy like Him. But those who love darkness are already judged because
they hate the Light and they love wickedness, they love sin.
Many profess to be believers but they
love sin, they don't come to Jesus, they are only religious. They
quote Bible verses and they go to church, they might carry a Bible
but they are evil because they don't come to the Light. They do not
walk with Jesus, they do not STOP SINNING.
Jesus said that those who love the
Light come to the Light so that their deeds can be shown that they
are pure and holy and that they are done in and through Him but those
who love darkness, who love sin, they run away from Jesus, they run
away from the Light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. That
is why most Christians cannot stop sinning, THEY LOVE SIN. They hate
the Light. They don't want to come to the Light, they don't walk in
the Light, they walk in darkness and they are darkness, they are
separated from God because they refuse to come to the Light. ”This
is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world but men loved
darkness more than Light because their deeds were evil.”
Do you love the Light and walk in the
Light? Or do you run away from the Light and try to defend your sins
and wickedness? Are you OF the Light or of darkness?
