Be LED by the Spirit

What is it that sets us apart from the rest and makes us CHILDREN OF GOD? Jesus said:”My sheep LISTEN to My VOICE and they FOLLOW Me.” It is not about being religious or reading your Bible or belonging to a church, it is about LISTENING to the VOICE of Jesus and FOLLOWING Him, being one of His sheep, being LED by His SPIRIT.

Jesus Christ gives His Holy Spirit in those who turn away from sin and from their own desires and who OBEY Him, who REPENT and who are baptized in water and who SEEK TO HEAR HIS VOICE, who SEEK to be LED by His SPIRIT, they are His sheep. They are the ones who follow Him, who OBEY Him and who DO His WILL. Those who are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. If we do not have the Spirit of Christ and are not LED by His Spirit then we do not belong to Him.

Seek Jesus with all your heart, OBEY Him, go after Him and He will give His Spirit in you. Then tune in to Him, LISTEN and FOLLOW Him and your soul will live. Be LED by the Holy Spirit and then only can we do the will of God and be pleasing to Jesus.

LISTEN to Jesus

A child of God LISTENS to God. Jesus Christ IS God. Jesus said:”My sheep LISTEN to MY VOICE and they FOLLOW ME. They will not listen to strangers but they will run away from strangers.” Jesus Christ is ALIVE and those who believe in Him and who have come to KNOW HIM, LISTEN to Him and they FOLLOW Him. He puts His Spirit in them and they HEAR Him.

Those who are led by the Spirit of God THEY are the SONS OF GOD. Children of God LISTEN TO GOD, they DO HIS WILL. They DO what is pleasing to HIM, they FOLLOW Jesus step by step. They do not listen to preachers and to other people, the do not read books and watch television shows (for guidance), their focus is on Jesus. They do not even need to read the Bible because they LISTEN to Jesus. They are SHEEP of the MASTER and they follow Him. They DO His will.

Do you LISTEN to Jesus? Are you one of His sheep? Or are you astray? Who do you LISTEN to? If you are truly a child of God you will be LISTENING to HIM and you will be FOLLOWING HIM, DOING His will. Are you LISTENING to Jesus?

Knowing and Doing the Fathers Will

If you KNOW Jesus Christ and have been born again by the Spirit of God then GOD IS YOUR FATHER and He gives you the Holy Spirit so that you can KNOW what the will of God is. His Spirit guides you and teaches you and you don't need anybody to teach or guide or advise you, YOU LISTEN TO YOUR FATHER.

You don't need a Bible, you don't need a preacher, you ONLY NEED TO LISTEN TO YOUR FATHER, God, to be led by His Spirit because you ARE A CHILD OF GOD. Are YOU a child of God? Do you KNOW HIS WILL and do you DO IT?

Real Christians

A Christian by definition is a FOLLOWER OF JESUS CHRIST. There are very very few FOLLOWERS OF JESUS CHRIST in this world today. Many profess to be Christians but they do not even know Jesus.

Some have met Jesus but they deny Him, they practice religion, they have a form of godliness but they have denied the Power thereof. They do not OBEY Jesus, they do not FOLLOW Him and they have no relationship with Him. Many are CHURCHIANS, they go to church. Others are BIBLE BELIEVERS, they believe in their Bible and they say they trust in Jesus but they do not obey Him nor do they follow Him.

Jesus said:”Why do you call Me Lord, Lord and you do not what I say?” IF you follow Jesus Christ you are a CHILD OF GOD and you ACT LIKE a child of God, you OBEY your Father. You live in holiness and righteousness and you DO what He tells you to do. You have no business with the things of the world. Your business is the kingdom of God and being pleasing to your heavenly Father. If you follow Jesus YOU WILL BE LIKE HIM.

Are YOU a FOLLOWER OF JESUS? Are you a SON OF GOD or are you a FAKE, a HYPOCRITE? Are you a REAL CHRISTIAN?

A Kingdom Mindset

A born again child of God has a different mindset, a KINGDOM MINDSET. Jesus Christ is his King, his LORD and his MASTER and he lives to please his MASTER, to DO those things that are pleasing to Jesus. He does NOT SIN, he doesn't take chances. He is CAREFUL to always have his mind on Jesus Christ and on DOING what is pleasing to HIM.

Believers who sin and who take chances, who try to see how much they can be part of the world and still get into heaven, THEY ARE CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL. They are not children of God, they have got satan's mindset and they do the things that please THEM and that please their father, the devil.

Have you got a Kingdom Mindset? Are you a child of God and do you always seek to do those things that are pleasing to your FATHER God, your MASTER, Jesus Christ?

Drawn and Compelled by LOVE

If we are truly born again and we love Jesus Christ then we GO AFTER HIM with all our power. Our mind is constantly focused on Him. We seek to be pleasing to Him, we seek Him in prayer, our mind is fixed on Him and His Spirit permeates us, and His Spirit that indwells us prompts us, compels us to DO that which is pleasing to Him.

He does not force us but we SEEK to be pleasing to Him. We seek to be righteous and holy according to His standard because we want to be pleasing to Him. Without Jesus we can do nothing, If we are not constantly driven, compelled by a desire to please Jesus Christ in everything that we do then we are driven by selfish desires. Without Jesus we can do nothing, we have to be PROMPTED, COMPELLED by our love for Him. Our focus must always be on Him, then nothing will be impossible, then doing His will becomes our pleasure and His Spirit that fills us, that indwells us, ENABLES us to do that which is pleasing to Him.

Are you led by the Spirit of Christ because you are focused on Him all the time? Do you truly want to be pleasing to Jesus? Is He really your Lord and Master? Do you love Him that much that you always want to be pleasing to Him? If not, then you do not really love Jesus, then you are not really born again. Without Jesus we can do nothing, it is all about Him and being pleasing to Him.

Is God your Father?

Those who believe in Jesus Christ have the power to become children of God. A child of God LISTENS to his Father, he OBEYS Him and he always does what is pleasing to his Father. Have you become a child of God? Do you obey your Father? Do you HEAR His voice? Do you do what is pleasing to God all the time? We cannot please our Father if we do not hear His voice. The apostle Paul said that those who are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God (Romans 8:14). Are you led by the Spirit of God? Have you received the Spirit of God? There is only one way that you can receive the Spirit of God, because God is Spirit, and that is that you must get rid of sin. Only Jesus can take away your sin. You need to REPENT, STOP SINNING, and only Jesus can forgive your sins, if you plead Him forgiveness and OBEY Him, SIN NO MORE; if you are BAPTIZED IN WATER for the washing off of your sin so that you can be CLEAN. Only then can you come into the presence of God, the Father, and then Jesus will baptize you in the Holy Spirit. You will receive of the Spirit of God so that you can hear the voice of God. He will give you another tongue by which you can speak mysteries to God. He will open your ears so that you can hear His voice, but then you have to LISTEN to His voice, FOLLOW Him and OBEY Him. Have you received the Holy Spirit? Do you hear His voice and do you OBEY Him all the time? God does not tolerate disobedience. If we disobey Him, we are not fit for His kingdom. If we disobey Him, we are not fit to be children of God. Are you a child of God? Do you HEAR His voice and do you OBEY Him? May Jesus bless you.
