Happiness is

Happiness is knowing Jesus Christ and being pleasing to Him. Happiness is being approved of by Jesus, trusting Him and knowing that He will never let you down. Happiness is being content even when you have nothing and you have given up everything but you know that you HAVE Jesus Christ.

Happiness is hearing the voice of your Master IN THE STORM when your life is in turmoil and it seams as though everything is going wrong but you know that Jesus is with you, you have nothing to fear! There is nothing to be concerned about because Jesus is in control. Happiness is to know that your sins are forgiven and your Master is pleased with you. Happiness is to be able to sleep even in the storm.

Are you happy? Do you have Jesus Christ?

Seek God Not Just His Benefits

The whole world wants the benefits of God, the good things, the good life, eternal life but they do not want God's ways. Jesus Christ is God's WAY. God sent Jesus Christ to come and show us the WAY to be children of God and if we want eternal life we will have to follow Jesus Christ and His ways.

You cannot have God's benefits without having God's ways. If you reject Jesus Christ and His ways you will perish.

Are you following and obeying Jesus Christ? Are you going after Him and after His ways or do you just want God's benefits. People seek eternal life everywhere BUT Jesus. Jesus said to the pharisees:”You seek the scriptures in there to find eternal life but you refuse to come to Me and have life. Have you found Jesus? Are you going after Jesus and His ways? Are you seeking His approval? Have you received His Spirit and are you led by His Spirit? Do you follow and OBEY Jesus? Do you go after Him every day?

Jesus is the WAY. He is the DOOR and He will say to many in that day:”Go away I never knew you, you workers of wickedness.” Why? They didn't follow after Jesus. They followed after their own ways and they thought that they could have God's life without Jesus. Without Jesus you have got NOTHING. You have got no hope. Are you going after Jesus and God's ways or are you just seeking the benefits? Because in the end you will be a fool. He will turn you away and say to you:”I don't know you where you are from.”

Do you know Jesus and does He know you? Are you seeking and following HIM every day?

Seek the will of God

There is a road that seams right to man but the end of that road is destruction. That is why we need to SEEK THE WILL OF GOD. Jesus commanded us to SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD and His righteousness and then all the other things WILL BE ADDED UNTO US. He taught us to pray:”Thy kingdom, THY come will be done...” It is only when we seek the will of God that we have REAL LIFE but we must first walk in righteousness and in holiness.
The prophet Micah wrote in Micah 6:8:”He has shown you o man what is good and what does the Lord require of you but to DO justly and to LOVE MERCY and to WALK HUMBLY WITH THY GOD.” We first have to seek righteousness and holiness and then we can walk in the presence of God, then we can seek the will of God.
Are you seeking the will of God or are on the road that leads to destruction?

Perfect happiness

Real happiness and fulfillment can only be found in the right relationship with Jesus Christ. People look for happiness in relationships, in achievement, in money and in many other things but in the end they are disappointed.

Only Jesus can fill that part in our lives. Only Jesus can give us real contentment and happiness. God has a plan for each of us in His kingdom and we can only be content, happy, satisfied if we live in close relationship with Jesus and we are DOING what He tells us to do, IF we are WORKING GOD'S PLAN, IF we are living in utter obedience to Jesus even though the whole world might be mad at us, might be rejecting us, persecuting us even killing us. Being in that close relationship with Jesus is all that matters.

This life is very short. Before you know it's over and then we will stand before Jesus Christ to be judged. He will reward every man according to his deeds, whether he walked in close relationship with Him and DID according to His plan, was led by His Spirit. You cannot find happiness in anything else but in that close relationship with Jesus Christ.

Finding Peace and Contentment

People will do anything to find fulfillment, contentment, to satisfy their desires and their lusts. They will do anything, they will work hard, they will steal, they will murder, they will risk their lives, they become part of the rat race chasing after pleasure and they never find it. In the end they are empty.

There is only one place of contentment and that is when we are in harmony with God, that is when we are in obedience and submission to Jesus Christ, DOING HIS WILL, OBEYING His words. Jesus invites us. He says:”Come to me all ye who are weary and I will give you rest for your soul.” You will not find rest and peace and contentment chasing after the things of this world, chasing after achievement and self fulfillment. In the end, it is empty and you are empty and you are left out in the cold.

Come to Jesus. Turn away from sin, wickedness, and seek Jesus Himself with all your power. Seek to be pleasing to Him and He will give you PEACE THAT PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING even though the whole world around you is falling to pieces. Only Jesus can give you that peace.

God of the Valleys

Many people experience wonderful joy, peace, and euphoria when they first come to Jesus and after a few days it wears off and then they are very disappointed. Jesus has never left us, but following Jesus is not about always being on the mountain top. He is not just the God of the mountain tops but He is also the God of the valleys.
It is when we are in the Valleys of despair, rejection, struggle of daily life, that we really get to know Jesus. Jesus never leaves us, He never forsakes us. We leave Him. It is unrealistic to always want to be on a high, to always want to feel good. The Kingdom of God is not about me always feeling good. It is about following Jesus and getting to know Him, obeying Him and doing His will. We need to PRESS ON IN. The strength comes with a strain. The joy comes with overcoming, when we go through difficult times and we ENDURE and we KEEP the FAITH. That is when that real relationship with Jesus is built up. He is not just a God of the mountain tops, He is God of the valleys also, and we get to know Him in the valleys. If you follow Jesus, you will be IN the valleys IN the depths of despair and trials more often than on the mountain tops.
Do not become disheartened. Stay with Jesus when you are IN the valleys and when things are going difficult and then you will also be with Him when He takes you on the mountain top. Don’t give up, press on in and stay with Jesus until the very, very end. Always make yourself aware of Him, and you will have His peace inside of you, even though the world around you is in utter turmoil.
