Be filled with the HOLY SPIRIT

Our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against evil forces and principalities, dark forces that rule this world. Everything that happens in the physical is already won or lost in the spiritual. In order to overcome evil, the evil in us and the evil in this world we need to be filled with the Holy Spirit of God because it is the Holy Spirit that overcomes everything, overcomes all evil.

If we are filled with our own wisdom, our own spirit, the wisdom of this world, evil forces and demons then we will be defeated. We need to be filled with the Holy Spirit of God. We need to be emptied of all evil and we must embrace the Spirit of the Living God to come and live in us to guide us, to enable us to DO THE WILL OF GOD.

Those who are led by the Spirit of God, they are the children of God (Romans 8:14) and they are the ones that overcome the world. If we depend on ourselves, our physical strength, our intellect, our mind, we are already defeated because the flesh cannot compete against the spirit. As Jesus said:”The flesh is useless.” If we war according to the flesh and we war according to the flesh we will perish but if by the Spirit of God that indwells us, we mortify, kill, subdue the desires and the works of the flesh and we obey the Spirit of God then we will overcome. The natural man is filled with doubt, fear, insecurity, self sufficiency, self-confidence, arrogance, worldly wisdom; all of those things are defeated by the power of evil. It is only the wisdom of God and the Holy Spirit of God that indwells the SPIRIT FILLED CHILD OF GOD that overcomes the world.

If we are not filled with the Holy Spirit,we are filled with other things and we will be defeated and that is why God promised the Holy Spirit to those who follow Jesus Christ. And that is why Jesus also commanded His disciples (before He ascended to Heaven) to go to Jerusalem and wait for the Holy Spirit so that they could be FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT and have the POWER to overcome the world. If we are not filled with the Holy Spirit then we will not overcome, we will be defeated by satan. And that is why the evil forces of this world and the wisdom of this world REJECTS the Spirit of God. They embrace knowledge, power, wisdom of men, and they are defeated. Your Bible knowledge cannot defeat the power of satan, your own knowledge and your own wisdom cannot defeat satan, it is the POWER OF GOD, the Holy Spirit IN YOU that defeats the evil one. If we are not filled with the Holy Spirit and do not STAY FILLED with the Holy Spirit we are defeated, we will not overcome.

Therefor we have to stay close to Jesus in CLOSE RELATIONSHIP with Him, always seeking Him, praying and staying FILLED with the Holy Spirit of God and then we will DO what is pleasing to Him. Are you FILLED with the Holy Spirit or are you filled with other things?

JESUS IS COMING ANY TIME! BE READY!

Many people will die today and if you should die today THEN JESUS HAS COME FOR YOU AND YOU WILL STAND JUDGMENT. Most believers will end up in hell because they live unholy, unrighteous, they are evildoers. Not many people will be saved.

We read in Luke 13:23-27. “And someone said to Him (to Jesus), “Lord, are there just a few who are being saved?” And He said to them, 24“Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25“Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘Lord, open up to us!’ then He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from.’ 26“Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets’; 27and He will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from; DEPART FROM ME, ALL YOU EVILDOERS.’ “

If we are evildoers we will perish. The unrighteous will not come into the presence of God. It is those who OBEY JESUS who will have eternal life. As the apostle Paul also warned in1 Corinthians 6:9-10 “Or do you not know that THE UNRIGHTEOUS WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.”

NO SINNERS WILL GO INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD. This generation watches TV, watches pornography, they are overtaken by lust. Jesus Christ warned in Matthew 5:28-30 “ 28but I say to you that everyone who LOOKS AT A WOMAN WITH LUST FOR HER HAS ALREADY COMMITTED ADULTERY WITH HER IN HIS HEART. 29“If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for IT IS BETTER FOR YOU TO LOSE ONE OF THE PARTS OF YOUR BODY, THAN FOR YOUR WHOLE BODY TO BE THROWN INTO HELL. 30“If your right hand makes you stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to go into hell.”

HELL IS REAL! If you believe in Jesus Christ for salvation you will also believe what He said about hell. You will fear Him and you will obey Him. You will stop sinning, be baptized in water and deny yourself, pick up your cross every day and follow Jesus. You will live RIGHTEOUSLY AND HOLY because you know that GOD HAS ONE STANDARD for all people. ALL SINNERS WILL PERISH.

Jesus Christ is coming. He might be coming for YOU today. Are you READY? Or will you perish in hell because you are an evildoer? Repent and be holy because JESUS IS COMING ANY TIME.

Good fish and BAD Fish

Not all fish are good fish, not all fish are edible. Jesus Christ likened the kingdom of Heaven to fishing. We read in Matthew 13: 47-50“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet cast into the sea, and gathering fish of every kind; 48and when it was filled, they drew it up on the beach; and they sat down and gathered the GOOD FISH into containers, but the bad they threw away. 49“So it will be at the end of the age; the angels will come forth and take out the WICKED from among the RIGHTEOUS, 50and will THROW THEM INTO THE FURNACE OF FIRE; IN THAT PLACE THERE WILL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.”

Not everyone who hears the gospel of Jesus Christ and says a sinners prayer, does become a child of God. Not all are good fish. Only those who REPENT and OBEY Jesus, who FOLLOW Him, who LIVE RIGHTEOUSLY and HOLY, they are the good fish. Many people are bad fish and they believe that they are saved. They believe that because they have said the sinners prayer and they belong to some church, and they confess Jesus Christ and they know Bible verses and they recite Bible verses, they think that they are saved, they think that they are GOOD FISH.

A tree is known by it's fruit. We cannot fool Jesus. Either we are GOOD FISH and we are “edible” or we are good trees and we produce good fruit, we live righteously and holy and OBEDIENT TO JESUS or we are BAD FISH. Are we good fish or bad fish? Our works will show. We cannot earn salvation by being good, by doing good works but the WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH, THE SOUL THAT SINS WILL DIE. If we sin we will perish. Are we good fish or bad?

Your Calling

Jesus Christ calls each and every one of us for a specific purpose and the only way that we can fulfill that purpose is IF we follow Him, if we submit our lives to Him, live in holiness and obedience,seeking His will, LISTENING to His voice and DOING what He tells us to do. We are not all called to be preachers or teachers.

Jesus calls each and every one with a specific purpose and He will direct our footsteps and put us where He wants us to be. He might direct us into different occupations, we are in different countries of the world, but if we are led by the Holy Spirit then He will TEACH us, He will GUIDE us, He will COACH us, He will prepare us for service in His Kingdom and IF we endure with Him, submit to Him. LISTEN and OBEY then He will USE us for the purpose that He called us for. Moses the man of God was only ready for the purpose for which God had called Him when he was eighty years old. At the age of eighty he led the children of Israel out of Egypt.

God has called each and every one of us for a purpose which only He knows but we can only fulfill that purpose IF we follow Jesus Christ, IF we listen to His voice, IF we submit to Him and then He will use us for that purpose that He has made us for, called us for and that He wants to prepare us for. Only God knows that purpose. The only way that we can fulfill God's purpose is if we ABANDON OUR OWN PLANS, abandon our own ambitions and submit totally to Jesus, focus on Him, follow Him and let Him guide us into that plan which He has prepared for each of us. That is our calling, to follow Jesus and to do what He has called us for until the very end.

Without Jesus we can do nothing. We will have to follow His guidance every step of the way until the very, very end and only those who endure until the very end will win the prize of eternal life that He has promised to those who love Him and who obey Him.

Feeding your soul

Input determines output, garbage in - garbage out. Whatever we feed our souls with is what we will become and what we will produce. If we watch pornography and play violent video games, if we listen to the news all day, then that is what will be on our mind. If we watch TV all day we will be brainwashed by whatever lies are presented to us all the time. That becomes our reality.

If we want eternal life then we have to meditate on and absorb, believe and ponder the words of Jesus Christ, as also written in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. That must become our reality. We must be praying. Our mind must be on Jesus Christ all the time. He must be our reality.

Whatever seed we plant in our soul will grow and it will either produce bad fruit unto destruction or good fruit unto eternal life. What is our spiritual diet? With what are we feeding our soul? Is our mind on Jesus Christ and on seeking to be pleasing to Him. Are His words constantly on our mind or are we busy with things that will cause us to end up in damnation?

Polished to PERFECTION

Jesus Christ is working perfection in every one of THOSE WHO ARE FOLLOWING HIM, who have the hope of eternal life. He wants to present us as a perfect bride before His Father who is in heaven. I want to share with you some reading from the book of Hebrews.
We read in Hebrews 11 about the heroes of faith who endured until the end, and then we read in Hebrews 12:1 “Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us,” (He is talking about those heroes of faith that have gone before) “let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.4You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin;”
Sin is the problem. If we sin we cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven and therefor Jesus PERFECTS us through discipline and chastisement so that we can share in His holiness.
We read verse 5 “and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons,
  “MY SON, DO NOT REGARD LIGHTLY THE DISCIPLINE OF THE LORD,
   NOR FAINT WHEN YOU ARE REPROVED BY HIM;
   6FOR THOSE WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE DISCIPLINES,
    AND HE SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVES.”
7It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? 8But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. 9Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live? 10For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness. 11All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.”
God disciplines all His children. He disciplines us through misfortune, sickness, pain and suffering. Things happen in our lives and we cannot understand why these things are happening. It is the hand of God that is disciplining and correcting us. There is no coincidence in the life of a child of God. Whatever happens in your life is the hand of God on your life. HE IS LEADING US TO HOLINESS, PERFECTION.
We read in verse12 “Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble,13and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed.”
What does he mean by that? Do not go and look for trouble. Stay on the straight and narrow road. Do not go to those places where you know that you are weak. DO NOT EXPOSE YOURSELF TO TEMPTATION BUT STAY AWAY FROM TEMPTATION. Keep your eyes on Jesus, stay focused on Him and on the prize of eternal life or else you will not make it into the Kingdom of Heaven.
He says in verse14:”Pursue peace with all men, and the SANCTIFICATION WITHOUT WHICH NO ONE WILL SEE THE LORD.” Without sanctification, without holiness no man shall see the Lord. If we sin WE WILL PERISH! And that is why God is working perfection in us, through discipline and reproof because we have to be a PERFECT bride for Jesus Christ.
Verse 5 “See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled; 16that there be no immoral or godless person like Esau, who sold his own birthright for a single meal. 17For you know that even afterwards, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought for it with tears.”
It was for ONE SIN, ONE DISOBEDIENCE that Adam died. It was only one mishap that Esau made that caused him to lose his birth right. ONE SIN can cost you eternity. Jesus requires of us ABSOLUTE HOLINESS. Adam did not find any room for repentance, he disobeyed God and he perished. The very same God expects of us, PERFECT OBEDIENCE, IF we want to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus Christ is preparing a perfect bride to receive a perfect Kingdom, the Kingdom of Heaven and therefor we have to be perfect. We must allow Him to have His way in our lives. We have to yield to Him, we have to be UTTERLY HOLY and OBEDIENT to Him.
We read in verse 28:”Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may OFFER TO GOD AN ACCEPTABLE SERVICE WITH REVERENCE AND AWE; 29for OUR GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE.”
We must YIELD to Jesus, we must YIELD to the Holy Spirit and live in UTTER HOLINESS, He does not tolerate disobedience because OUR GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE, who is working PERFECTION in every one of those who ENDURES UNTIL TH EVERY END. Only those who ENDURE will in the PRIZE OF ETERNAL LIFE. Only those who DO THE WILL OF GOD will receive the prize.
We read in Hebrews 10:36 “For you have NEED OF ENDURANCE, so that when you HAVE DONE THE WILL OF GOD, you may receive what was promised.” Only those who ENDURE and DO the will of God will receive what was promised, the PRIZE of ETERNAL LIFE.

You need SPIRITUAL PERCEPTION

God is spirit and the kingdom of God is a spiritual kingdom. In order to be part of the kingdom of God we have to be spiritual people with SPIRITUAL PERCEPTION, and that is why you cannot SEE the Kingdom of God if you are not SPIRITUALLY REBORN through the Spirit of God. Those who are born again by the Spirit of God they have spiritual perception, they are the SONS OF GOD. As Paul wrote in Romans 8:15 “Those who are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

If you are not born again and if you are not led by the Spirit of God YOU ARE NOT A CHILD OF GOD. You need SPIRITUAL PERCEPTION. Most believers do not have SPIRITUAL PERCEPTION they are spiritually dead, they are not born again. Those who are involved in the occult know that demons are real, the netherworld is real, and they are controlled by demons. Many believers are controlled by demons and they don't even know it, they are addicted, they are in the power of satan and they don't even know it. That which happens in the spiritual plays out in the physical.

God is spirit and if we want to serve Him we have to be spiritually PERCEPTIVE, SPIRITUALLY ALIVE and we will be led by the Spirit of God. We need to be SPIRITUALLY REBORN. Those who are led by the Spirit of God, they are the CHILDREN OF GOD. Jesus said:”My sheep LISTEN to My VOICE and they FOLLOW Me.” They are spiritually PERCEPTIVE. They listen to the Holy Spirit. If you are not listening to the Holy Spirit you cannot follow Jesus. If you are not spiritually reborn you cannot perceive, understand, the Kingdom of God, it doesn't make sense to you because you are spiritually dead, unreceptive, closed. You need to be spiritually reborn.

The physical and the spiritual are in competition (opposed) with each other. Our physical mind and our body overrides (blots out, suppresses) the Spirit of God and that is why we fast, we weaken the physical and then the spiritual can come alive (surface). Most people just fast to loose weight. But you have to fast and pray to weaken your physical so that your spiritual can become acute, alive, and then you perceive the spiritual, both good and bad, both demons and the Spirit of God. If you weaken your body through fasting then your spirit becomes acute, alive (sharp) and in your spirit you perceive God and demons, that is why we fast.

You need to be spiritually alive, acute, (sharp) and you need to be led by the Spirit of God to be a child of God. If you are not a SPIRITUAL PERSON who is SPIRITUALLY ALIVE you cannot follow Jesus Christ. You need spiritual perception because God is spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH. Paul said:”Jesus Christ whom I SERVE IN MY SPIRIT...” Do you serve Jesus Christ in your spirit or is your faith and your religion all just on the basis of your mind and your intellect? Because then you cannot be following Jesus. You need to be led by the Spirit of God.

Pray and seek Jesus. Ask Him for the Holy Spirit and then the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth.
