HOPE for THIS NATION!

Someone just shared a wonderful link with me. If a president of a country repents in public and if his people follow him in that repentance, there is HOPE for that country. Such a country is Uganda. I read part of the article and the prayer to you. The link is also in this video:

“At the National Jubilee Yoweri Museveni made history when he openly repented his sins and the sins of Uganda.”

I read the prayer:

“Father God in heaven, today we stand here as Ugandans, to thank you for Uganda. We are proud that we are Ugandans and Africans. We thank you for all your goodness to us. 

I stand here today to close the evil past and especially in the last 50 years of our national leadership history and at the threshold of a new dispensation in the life of this nation. I stand here on my own behalf and on behalf of my predecessors to repent. We ask for your forgiveness. 

We confess these sins, which have greatly hampered our national cohesion and delayed our political, social and economic transformation.

We confess sins of idolatry and witchcraft which are rampant in our land. We confess sins of shedding innocent blood, sins of political hypocrisy, dishonesty, intrigue and betrayal. 

Forgive us of sins of pride, tribalism and sectarianism; sins of laziness, indifference and irresponsibility; sins of corruption and bribery that have eroded our national resources; sins of sexual immorality, drunkenness and debauchery; sins of unforgiveness, bitterness, hatred and revenge; sins of injustice, oppression and exploitation; sins of rebellion, insubordination, strife and conflict. 

These sins and many others have characterised our past leadership, especially the last 50 years of our history. Lord forgive us and give us a new beginning. Give us a heart to love you, to fear you and to seek you. Take away from us all the above sins. 

We pray for national unity. Unite us as Ugandans and eliminate all forms of conflict, sectarianism and tribalism. Help us to see that we are all your children, children of the same Father. Help us to love and respect one another and to appreciate unity in diversity.

We pray for prosperity and transformation. Deliver us from ignorance, poverty and disease. As leaders, give us wisdom to help lead our people into political, social and economic transformation.

We want to dedicate this nation to you so that you will be our God and guide. We want Uganda to be known as a nation that fears God and as a nation whose foundations are firmly rooted in righteousness and justice to fulfil what the Bible says in Psalm 33:12: Blessed is the nation, whose God is the Lord. A people you have chosen as your own. 

I renounce all the evil foundations and covenants that were laid in idolatry and witchcraft. I renounce all the satanic influence on this nation. And I hereby covenant Uganda to you, to walk in your ways and experience all your blessings forever.

I pray for all these in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.”

That, is a prayer!

IF your president would pray that prayer and make that commitment to God and IF you as a nation would follow him then surely the blessings of God would be on your country and there will be HOPE for your country.

If you know Jesus YOU WILL NOT SIN

Most believers do not know Jesus and that is why they go on sinning. Anyone who has met the risen Jesus is immediately filled with fear and awe of Him, and runs away from sin, because he knows he has met the living God.

When the apostle Paul first met Jesus (Acts 9) he was on his way to persecute the followers of Jesus. He fell on his face and he said:”Who are You Lord?” and He said:”I am Jesus who you are persecuting.” He was blind for three days, he didn't eat or drink, he came into the fear of God.

If you have met the risen Jesus you will not be the same, you will not be infatuated with the Bible, with church, with other people. All that will matter to you is Jesus. Jesus said that He will say to many people in that day:”Go away from Me I never knew you, you who WORK WICKEDNESS.”

If you have met Jesus then you know that He is holy. Sin does not come into his presence. You will not sin. If you keep on sinning YOU HAVE NEVER MET JESUS. If you keep on sinning you will burn in God's eternal incinerator because Jesus will gather the wheat into His barns and the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire in God's incinerator IN HELL.

Do you know Jesus? Have you met Jesus? Because if you did you will fear Him, you will obey Him and you will live your life in righteousness and holiness, seeking to please Him. HAVE YOU MET JESUS?

A Sick Heart

Many people die of a sick heart. Many need a heart transplant or else they will die. The reason why many people end up in hell is also a sick heart. We read in Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is more deceitful than all else and is DESPERATELY SICK; Who can understand it? 10“I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give to each man according to his ways, according to the results of his DEEDS.”


The wages of sin is death, and if we have sin in our hearts then we commit sin, which will cause us to perish. Jesus said, Matthew 15:19 “For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders.” It is these things that are in our hearts that cause us to sin. WE NEED A NEW HEART, a new attitude in life and ONLY JESUS CAN GIVE US A NEW HEART.


We read in Ezekiel 36:26,27. “Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27“I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.”


What we need is a NEW HEART. We can make the best resolutions, we can swear that we will not do the same sin again but if that sin is in your heart, if your heart is sick you go back to it. Your heart needs to be healed and the only one who can heal your heart is Jesus. He will give you a new heart, a heart transplant IF YOU HUMBLE YOURSELF BEFORE HIM, if you cry out to Him. Go on your knees and cry out to Him and say:”Lord, please give me a new heart! A heart that will love You, put Your laws in my heart. Put LOVE in my heart, for other people. Please take this wicked heart out and give me a new heart.” Ask Jesus, right now! Go on your knees, cry out to Him and He will put a new heart in you, and you will joyfully do the will of God.

How to see God

People do not believe in God because they CANNOT SEE HIM. But Jesus said: “Blessed are those who are PURE IN HEART for THEY SHALL SEE GOD.”Matthew 5:8. The reason why people do not see God is because their SIN separates them from God, their hearts are evil.

The only way to SEE GOD and to experience God as real is if we have been CLEANSED of our SIN and INIQUITY and the guilt of our sin. ONLY JESUS can take away our sin and then we see God. If you want to see God, humble yourself before Jesus, accept Him as your Lord and Master. Ask Him to make you a new person to remove the guilt of your sin. STOP SINNING, be pure and holy and then you will see God.

Sinning believers do not see God, they do not know God, they have no relationship with God because their sin separates them from God. WITHOUT HOLINESS NO MAN SHALL SEE GOD.

Do you see God or does your sin separate you from Him?

The Spirit of the Nation

The spirit of a nation determines the destiny of that nation. I come from dark Africa, more specifically I come from South Africa. South Africa was built and developed by God fearing people. They conquered a wild country with the Bible in the “wakis,” that is the chest on the front of the old ox wagon. They built up a wonderful country that was a regional power. Even the national anthem gave glory to God but then the people of South Africa turned their back on God and right now there is anarchy in South Africa. That is the spirit that now rules the country, the spirit of anarchy and destruction because the people have rejected God.

God sent me to this country to, the USA, to come and warn you, to come and tell you what I have experienced because my people who were chosen by God and favored by God rejected God. God gave them over to their desires. He gave them the government that they desired and now that spirit is ruling them. I see that you are doing exactly the same, you are running after the lusts of your flesh and you are rejecting God, you are allowing a different spirit to rule your nation. I want to warn you that that spirit that is ruling your nation will utterly destroy you if you do not repent, if you do not turn to God then you will certainly perish. I have seen that and you can go watch the news, go see what is happening in South Africa because they have turned their back on God.

We are the salt of the earth, we are children of God and we must bring a different spirit into this world but if we do not let our light shine then there is no seasoning, there is no salt and the nation will perish. You who call yourself a Christian, DO YOU HAVE ANY SALT IN YOU? Do you have any light in you? Or are you also possessed by the spirit that is destroying your country? If you have the spirit of God in you, then you will preserve your nation. You will act as seasoning that PREVENTS THE ROT. How much salt do you have in YOU? Is the light of Jesus shining through you or are you rotting away with your nation? It is time to REPENT and seek God or else you will all likewise perish.

Look at South Africa, look at darkest Africa that has rejected God. God has sent many missionaries to Africa to bring light but Africa rejected the light of God and Africa is still darkest Africa. It is cursed by God. It is one of the most fertile continents but nothing grows and nothing prospers on that continent because they hate God!

You are following in their footsteps, you have rejected God. I am waning you today. If you do not repent YOU WILL LIKEWISE PERISH. It is time to turn to God. Embrace Jesus, turn away from your sin and seek Jesus or you will perish.

All or Nothing

Salvation means being in a full time real relationship with Jesus Christ, serving Him as Lord and Master. Jesus does not accept half measures. He said:”If any man WISHES to come after Me, let him deny Himself, pick up his cross daily and come here, follow Me.” You cannot take time out on Jesus, it is either ALL or NOTHING.

Jesus will not accept your scraps or mine. He wants us totally unto Himself in TOTAL DEVOTION or else we have no relationship. We cannot exploit Jesus for our own benefit. He is not fooled. He is God almighty. Either we follow Him with all our power and live our lives to please Him all the time every day until the very end or we will not have eternal life.

You cannot serve Jesus part time. It is not about church. It is about a full time total commitment to Jesus Christ Himself , hearing His voice, listening to Him, being tuned in to His Holy Spirit all the time and doing what is pleasing to Him. Many are called but very, very few have answered. Very few are chosen, very few will follow Jesus until the very end. If you are not willing to give Jesus everything YOU WILL GET NOTHING from Him. It is ALL or NOTHING.

Are you willing to give your life for Jesus? If not, you can HAVE YOUR BEST TIME NOW because terror in damnation, awaits you. It is ALL or NOTHING. Jesus wants to give you the very best but He expects ALL of you and me, TOTAL COMMITMENT.

DO IT TODAY

We only have today. What we do today will determine where we spend eternity. What we have done in the past, good or bad, that is gone and over, we can do nothing about it but what we do today will determine whether God will be pleased with us or not. We might die today. We only have today to live for Jesus and to prepare for eternity.

Today, if you hear the voice of the Lord, do not harden your heart but OBEY, LISTEN, go on your knees, SEEK Him and ask HIM what you need to do TODAY to be pleasing to HIM. Jesus is ALIVE and if you die today you will meet Him face to face. He will either invite you into His kingdom or He will say to you:”Go away, I never knew you.”

Where will you end up if you die today? You can still prepare right now, you can still call out to Jesus right now, plead Him forgiveness, and mend your ways, but if you do not do that TODAY, tomorrow might be for ever too late.

Seek Jesus TODAY
