Real Christians OBEY JESUS

Jesus Christ came to show us what it means to be a child of God, a son of God. He came to do the will of His Father and He came to show us how we should serve the Father if we want eternal life. If we believe in Jesus Christ, follow and obey Him then we become children of God. We are changed into His likeness, we do as Jesus did and we live as He lived.

Many people profess to be Christians, followers of Jesus but there is no family likeness, they do not look like Jesus, they do not live like Jesus, THEY ARE FAKES. They are not children of God. They never repented from their futile lifestyle. If you follow Jesus you turn away from sin and living for yourself and you live IN OBEDIENCE TO HIM and through your relationship, your fellowship with him. You are sanctified, you are changed, you become like Him in everything.

If we have not become like Jesus Christ and if we do not OBEY His words, WE ARE FAKES! Then we do not have salvation, we are not children of God. A tree is known by its fruit. If we do not bear good fruit we are bad trees. If we have not become like Jesus Christ in every respect then we are not children of God.

Have you become like Jesus? Are you doing the will of your heavenly Father? Are you following the example of Jesus Christ and obeying His words as also recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John? Or are you also just a fake?

Perfection through PAIN and SUFFERING

Those who follow Jesus Christ are perfected in holiness and obedience through suffering. If you follow Jesus Christ you will follow His example of suffering. Jesus, even though He was a son learned through what He suffered and if we follow Him we will also learn through suffering.

We read in 1 Peter 4:1 “Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;” God disciplines every son that He accepts, so if you are accepted as a child of God then you will be disciplined and you will learn through what you suffer.

I have suffered much in my life because that is the way that God teaches His own children. If we do not suffer then we are illegitimate children, He will teach us through MUCH SUFFERING. God has taught me through, trials, pain, suffering. Right now I am going through some suffering. For the past three months I have had a little toe that has chilblains, or winters toe. I cannot wear a shoe. So I asked the Lord. I said:”Lord, what must I learn from this?” because there is no medication that helps for chilblains, you just need to move to a warmer place. So I said:”Lord, what must I learn from this small toe that is so painful?” it keeps me awake at night. The Holy Spirit teaches me that if the little toe suffers then the whole body suffers, because it keeps me awake at night, causes me to pray and spend more time with the Lord. You see, if the smallest member of the Body of Christ suffers then the whole Body suffers, and we have to care for each other, care for those whom we regard least because they are important. If they suffer then the Body of Christ suffers.

We learn through what we suffer. I have suffered much in my life since I have started following Jesus Christ but through suffering He has taught me to OBEY Him, not to love the things of the world. We learn through suffering and if you follow Jesus Christ you will suffer. There is no coincidence in the life of a child of God because God directs our footsteps. Whatever happens to us is in the plan of God because we are children of God. Whenever anything happens to me, pain, sickness, misfortune, whatever, I turn to Jesus and I say:”Lord, what are You teaching me?” because that is the way He teaches us.

Maybe He is speaking to you. He chastises those whom He loves. Maybe there is sin in your life. Ask the Lord why you are sick. Ask Him why you are running into misfortune. Ask Him why somebody drove into the back of your car. Is your car not maybe your idol? Ask the Lord why things are going wrong in your life. Because we LEARN THROUGH WHAT WE SUFFER.

Nothing is easy when you follow Jesus but if we YIELD to Him, we TRUST Him and we SUBMIT, He teaches us HOLINESS, RIGHTEOUSNESS, LONGSUFFERING and OBEDIENCE. We are changed into His likeness through suffering but WE MUST SUBMIT TO HIM. We must YIELD and let Him have His way in us and He will mold us into perfection.

If you yield to the discipline of the Holy Spirit and ACCEPT the SUFFERING and learn from it then you will be changed into His likeness and be suitable to enter into the kingdom of heaven. If you refuse correction you will not be suitable for His kingdom and He will turn you away. We learn through what we suffer IF we want to follow Jesus Christ.

Rapture Doctrine - False Hope

Many churches lure believers with a promise of a rapture escape from tribulation. Jesus Christ never promised us an escape from tribulation. He said:”In this world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Jesus said:”I will never leave you and I will never forsake you.” He will be WITH YOU in tribulation IF you stay WITH HIM.

If you want eternal life you have to follow Jesus Christ wherever He takes you. Jesus said that:”He who loves father or mother or brother or sister or even his own life more than Me is not worthy of Me.” Jesus did not promise an escape. He promises us eternal life IF we ENDURE WITH HIM UNTIL THE VERY END.

The disciples died as martyrs and through the ages many believers were killed for their faith in Jesus Christ. Right now people are being killed because they confess to believe in Jesus Christ. These people who believe the rapture escape lie, do they expect to be welcomed into the same company as those who gave everything for Jesus, who died for Jesus?

If you follow Jesus Christ then you follow Him wherever He guides you, even if it costs you your life, because if you turn away from Him, you will not have eternal life. Are you willing to follow Jesus Christ even through the valley of the shadow of death or do you want an easy escape? Because then you will not follow Jesus. You might join a church and believe a false promise but you have never started following Jesus Christ.

Doomed Drifting to Damnation

All the people of the world are like ships on the sea, ships without rudders, drifting aimlessly to no destination. They are doomed for destruction. Many people have taken on religion and they believe that their religion will take them to a safe harbor. Others believe in the Bible and they think that if they apply the Bible in their own way that they will find some salvation.

But Jesus Christ Himself came to show us the way, He alone IS THE WAY to eternal life. Jesus Christ is the ONLY WAY to eternal life. Those who follow Him will not be in darkness. Those who follow and OBEY Him will have eternal life. Jesus Christ sent us His Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth. Those who believe in Him, accept Him and OBEY Him will have eternal life. Those who reject the Holy Spirit will perish. They will stay on that endless sea without direction.

Have you accepted Jesus Christ for real? Do you know Him? Do you OBEY Him? Do you LISTEN to the Holy Spirit and follow His guidance every day? Those who are led by the Spirit of God, they are the children of God. Are you LISTENING to the Spirit of God. Are you led by the Holy Spirit or are you drifting to damnation?

Fear Jesus Christ not the Bible

Many believers foolishly have more regard for the Bible and for their own interpretation of the Bible than for Jesus Christ. They have no fear for Jesus. Jesus Christ is Lord and we will be judged by Him according to His words as also recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. But it is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ that convicts us of sin, righteousness and judgment.

If we disregard the Holy Spirit that convicts us we will perish. If we obey the Holy Spirit, repent and live righteously and holy, we will live. The reason why many believers will end up in hell is because they have no fear for Jesus Christ, they do not know Him. They know the Bible or they know a few scriptures but they don't know Jesus and therefor they live in unrighteousness, in unholiness, The Holy Spirit is convicting them of sin but they try and reason it away, they debate the Holy Spirit. If you disregard the Holy Spirit you will perish.

The Holy Spirit is the presence of Jesus Christ with us, every moment. The Holy Spirit knows our thoughts and our intentions. Jesus said that if you look at a woman to lust after her you have already committed adultery in your heart. The Holy Spirit is present with us all the time and He knows everything about us. We must fear Him and OBEY Him or else we will perish.

Get your focus on Jesus Christ and LISTEN, OBEY the Holy Spirit that is convicting you, drawing you and guiding you into all righteousness. You will not be judged by the Bible, you will be judged by Jesus Christ and He will say to many believers:”Go away from Me I never you because they never LISTENED to Him. Are you LISTENING to the soft voice of the Holy Spirit, the voice of Christ that is speaking to you? Do you obey Him or do you disregard Him? If you disregard Him you will perish! Without holiness no man shall see God. If you disobey Jesus Christ then He will reject you also because then you are not fit for the kingdom of heaven.

FEAR JESUS. Not the Bible or other people. Fear Him who after He has killed, has the power to cast you into eternal hell.

What YOU must do to be saved

You don't need to anything to end up in eternal damnation. The whole world is already judged and condemned because of sin, because all have sinned and they come short of the glory of God. But Jesus Christ can remove the guilt of your sin and give you eternal life IF you repent and ACCEPT Him as your LORD and MASTER and to OBEY and SERVE Him for the rest of your life. Then you become part of His kingdom. If you reject Jesus Christ YOU WILL PERISH.

You need to GO AFTER Him, you need to OBEY Him, you need to SERVE Him as LORD. Jesus said:”Whoever WISHES to come after Me MUST deny himself, pick up his cross every day and come here FOLLOW ME.”

Very few people will be saved. They asked Jesus whether those who are being saved are few and He said to them:”Straight is the gate and narrow is the door that leads to life and FEW there be that find it. Strive HARD to enter the narrow door. You don't need to do anything to end up in hell but you need to STRIVE HARD, you need to GO AFTER Jesus every day, you need to OBEY Him, you need to LIVE HOLY and RIGHTEOUSLY, you need to live in close relationship with Jesus Christ EVERY DAY if you want eternal life. If you turn away from Him YOU ARE DOOMED, you are LOST!

It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to look after YOUR SALVATION. YOU have to work out your salvation with fear and trembling UNTIL the very very end. Your salvation is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. It depends on YOUR relationship with Jesus, whether YOU follow Him and serve Him as Lord and Master. Jesus Christ will say to many who believed that they were saved:”Go away, I never knew you, you workers of wickedness,” because those people did not follow after Jesus. They did not LISTEN to Him, they did not OBEY HIS WORDS. They were workers of wickedness. You need to follow Jesus EVERY DAY until the very end or else YOU WILL PERISH.

Drawn and Compelled by LOVE

If we are truly born again and we love Jesus Christ then we GO AFTER HIM with all our power. Our mind is constantly focused on Him. We seek to be pleasing to Him, we seek Him in prayer, our mind is fixed on Him and His Spirit permeates us, and His Spirit that indwells us prompts us, compels us to DO that which is pleasing to Him.

He does not force us but we SEEK to be pleasing to Him. We seek to be righteous and holy according to His standard because we want to be pleasing to Him. Without Jesus we can do nothing, If we are not constantly driven, compelled by a desire to please Jesus Christ in everything that we do then we are driven by selfish desires. Without Jesus we can do nothing, we have to be PROMPTED, COMPELLED by our love for Him. Our focus must always be on Him, then nothing will be impossible, then doing His will becomes our pleasure and His Spirit that fills us, that indwells us, ENABLES us to do that which is pleasing to Him.

Are you led by the Spirit of Christ because you are focused on Him all the time? Do you truly want to be pleasing to Jesus? Is He really your Lord and Master? Do you love Him that much that you always want to be pleasing to Him? If not, then you do not really love Jesus, then you are not really born again. Without Jesus we can do nothing, it is all about Him and being pleasing to Him.

Jesus never changes

People change from day to day. The one day they love each other the next day they reject each other, they hate each other, they divorce. But Jesus Christ never changes. His love never changes. We must not put our faith in each other. We must not put our trust in people or even in ourselves. We must trust in Jesus Christ and know that He will never forsake us, He will never leave us. If we trust in people we will be disappointed. If we trust in Jesus we will never be disappointed.

Things might not turn out the way that we expected but of we trust Him then we know that His ways are best. Trust in Jesus and you will never be disappointed.

Is Jesus your MASTER?

If you decide to follow Jesus Christ then your plans end. From that day onwards you become part of the kingdom of God because you submit yourself to the lordship of Jesus Christ. He becomes your Lord and your Master. You cannot serve two masters, you cannot serve your own ambitions and Jesus Christ.

If you want eternal life then Jesus Christ must be your LORD because He gives eternal life to those who BELIEVE that He is Lord AND who SERVE Him as Lord and Master. If you follow Jesus you live your life to please Him, you live in close fellowship with your MASTER, you follow Him every day, you WAIT on Him. You LISTEN to His voice, you follow Him, you GO where He sends you and you DO what He tells you because He is your MASTER and you have become part of His kingdom.

Jesus said that whoever wishes to come after Me must deny himself, pick up his cross every day and come here follow Me.”

Most believers SAY they believe that Jesus Christ is Lord BUT they never follow Him, they never submit to Him. He never becomes their LORD and they never become part of His kingdom, He is not their KING. They are still in control of their lives, they WILL NOT serve Jesus and therefor they are not part of His kingdom.

Have you become part of the kingdom of God? Is Jesus Christ your LORD? Do you live your life to please Him or do you just believe and you don't follow Him? Only those who SERVE Jesus Christ as LORD and MASTER are part of His kingdom. Only they will INHERIT His kingdom and have eternal life.

Have you accepted Jesus Christ as LORD and MASTER? Or do you just believe in Him but you will not serve Him? Is Jesus Christ your LORD?

Grace and Love

It does not matter what sins you have committed in your past. When you come to Jesus with a repentant heart, He gives you a new beginning, He wipes your slate and you start fresh. But then you have to turn away from sin, you have to obey Jesus Christ and FOLLOW Him, OBEY His words, be baptized in water for the washing off of your sins and then follow after Jesus every day of your life until the very end.

By His love and His mercy He grants us pardon and forgiveness. We must demonstrate our love for Him by OBEYING Him. Jesus said:”If you love Me you will keep My commandments.” If we love Him we will follow Him and go after Him every day of out lives until the very end. If we turn our back on Him we have despised His grace. We prove our love for Him by OBEYING Him. For those who truly love nothing is too much trouble and for those who follow Jesus Christ nothing is too big a sacrifice, nothing is too much trouble. Nothing is impossible because they love Him.

If we appreciate the grace that Jesus extended to us then we will STOP SINNING, we will OBEY Him and follow Him wherever He guides us and DO what ever He tells us to do, because we love Him. Do you truly LOVE Jesus Christ and are you following Him every day of your life?

Do not be distracted

The only way to have eternal life is if you FOLLOW Jesus Christ. You can only follow Jesus Christ if you obey His words as written in the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), and then He will reveal Himself to you, you will get to know Him for real. He will give His Holy Spirit to guide you every step of the way.

If you do not stay focused on Jesus alone, then you will stray, you will not be able to be pleasing to Him. If you allow anything to distract you from OBEYING and FOLLOWING Jesus Christ, you will perish! Jesus Christ ALONE is the way and the truth and the life. Do you KNOW Jesus Christ and are you following Him ALONE?

Do not allow yourself to be distracted. Do not follow after people, do not listen to them, do not seek their advice. Seek Jesus, UNTIL you find Him and then STAY with Him and follow HIM, every day UNTIL the very end.

Not a joy ride - FIRE.

Jesus Christ gives eternal life to those who BELIEVE in Him and then FOLLOW Him and OBEY Him. Jesus said that:”Whoever WISHES to come after Me must deny himself, pick up his cross daily and come here, follow Me.” If you follow Jesus Christ He will take you through the water, you will have to be baptized for the washing off of your sins and He will take you through the FIRE. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and with FIRE.

If you follow Jesus He will purify you, He will cleanse you. You will have to BE WILLING TO GIVE UP EVERYTHING, your dignity, your family, your possessions, everything, even your life. If you are not willing to give up everything to follow Jesus Christ then you are not worthy of Him. If you follow Jesus Christ then you LISTEN to Him, and you OBEY Him. You do not run after your own plans and your own ambitions, you WAIT ON HIM and you follow HIM.

IF you follow Jesus He will take you through the FIRE. He will cleanse you, He will purify you. He will purify you of worldly desires, He will cleanse you of everything of this world. You will not FIT INTO THIS WORLD any more, you will not be of the world. You will have no desire for the things of the world. The world will shun you, reject you, persecute you but you will be suitable for the kingdom of God. IF YOU STILL FIT INTO THIS WORLD THEN YOU CANNOT FIT INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD, you have to GO THROUGH THE FIRE, be molded, purified and cleansed so that you can be suitable for the kingdom of God.

Are you willing to give up everything and follow Jesus Christ? Jesus will not take you on a joy ride, He will take you through the FIRE. Are you ready for the FIRE? Are you ready to follow Jesus Christ? If you want eternal life YOU WILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE FIRE.

Carnal Christians

If we follow Jesus Christ then our only concern is being pleasing to Him. Then we wait for His confirmation and His approval. We LISTEN to His voice, we OBEY Him, we GO WHERE He sends us and we DO what He tells us and we are not concerned about what anybody thinks about us.

If we are still concerned about being acceptable to the world or being approved of by other people then we cannot be following Jesus Christ.

Jesus strongly rebuked the pharisees, He said to them:”How can you be seeking the glory of God if you are still concerned about the praises that you receive from each other?”

If you are still concerned about being accepted by the church or fitting into this world then you cannot be following Jesus. Then you are carnal, demonic, fleshly, then you are an enemy of God!

Are you a follower of Jesus or are you a CARNAL CHRISTIAN?

Why most people will perish in hell

There is only one way that we can have eternal life, even after death, and that is through following and obeying Jesus Christ. The words of Jesus that He spoke are the words of life. They are recorded in the gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and IF we OBEY those words then Jesus Christ WILL REVEAL HIMSELF TO US, He will BECOME REAL to us, we will know Him for REAL.

Jesus said that:”Whoever WISHES to come after Me must deny himself, pick up his cross every day and come here follow Me.” We can only have eternal life if we follow Jesus Christ HIS WAY. Even Christians, believers, think that they can get into heaven their own way by applying the bible, the scriptures, according to their own liking. They will perish in hell.

Very few truly follow Jesus Christ. Very few really get to know Jesus because they REFUSE to OBEY His words. Most Christians REFUSE to obey Jesus Christ. They WILL NOT obey His words. They WILL NOT follow Him. They want to serve Him in their own way, but they will perish because they will never get to know Him. Jesus will say to many Christians, to MOST Christians and MOST preachers of virtually ALL CHURCHES, He will say:”Go away I never knew you, you workers of wickedness.” Why is that? Because they wanted to follow Jesus THEIR OWN WAY.

There is only one way to have eternal life, that is Jesus Christ. There are no other ways. We are INVITED to follow Him but if we refuse to follow Him EVERY DAY UNTIL THE VERY END and OBEY Him, STOP SINNING, obey His words, be baptized in water, seek Him every day, LISTEN to His voice and FOLLOW Him, if we don't do those things, we WILL PERISH! We have to follow Him EVERY DAY until the very end. The choice is ours, but very, very few will have eternal life. Very few are willing to follow Jesus Christ until the very end. Are you willing?

Finding Peace and Contentment

People will do anything to find fulfillment, contentment, to satisfy their desires and their lusts. They will do anything, they will work hard, they will steal, they will murder, they will risk their lives, they become part of the rat race chasing after pleasure and they never find it. In the end they are empty.

There is only one place of contentment and that is when we are in harmony with God, that is when we are in obedience and submission to Jesus Christ, DOING HIS WILL, OBEYING His words. Jesus invites us. He says:”Come to me all ye who are weary and I will give you rest for your soul.” You will not find rest and peace and contentment chasing after the things of this world, chasing after achievement and self fulfillment. In the end, it is empty and you are empty and you are left out in the cold.

Come to Jesus. Turn away from sin, wickedness, and seek Jesus Himself with all your power. Seek to be pleasing to Him and He will give you PEACE THAT PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING even though the whole world around you is falling to pieces. Only Jesus can give you that peace.

Do you REALLY believe who Jesus is?

If the world truly knew who Jesus Christ IS they would OBEY Him, they would FEAR Him and they would seek Him with all their power, they would serve Him as Lord and as Master. Jesus Christ IS the King of kings, He IS Lord of lords, All authority belongs to Him, every knee WILL bow before Him and every tongue WILL confess that Jesus Christ is Lord even if they don't want to. They will acknowledge in the end, HE IS LORD! They made a mistake.

Many believers do not really believe who Jesus is and that is why they disobey Him, they betray Him, they carry on living a life of sin and selfishness. One of His disciples, Judas Iscariot walked with Him and lived with Him for more than three years, he saw all the miracles that Jesus did. He heard His words, he heard the words that Jesus spoke and still he did not believe. He betrayed Him with a kiss for thirty shekels of silver but in the end he realized his mistake and it was TOO LATE, he committed suicide and he died. Many believers are like that. They have seen the miracles of Jesus, they have experienced Him but still they do not believe. They do not OBEY Him, they do not go after Him. They do not stop sinning and too late the will realize that they made a big mistake! They did not really believe WHO JESUS IS.

Do YOU believe who Jesus is? Do you FEAR Him and OBEY Him and take His words seriously? Do you SERVE Him as LORD of all? Or do you also, not really believe?

God's enemies will all perish

God has made us for His purpose and those who do the will of God will remain for ever, they will LIVE for EVER. But sin separates us from God and that is why Jesus came, to reconcile us with God, so that IF we REPENT of SIN and we DO the will of God then we will live for ever.

The mind that is set on the flesh and the desires of the flesh is at enmity with God because such a mind runs after his own desires and will not submit himself to God, and therefor those who disobey God, will perish. All their works and all their effort comes to naught. They labor in vain because everything that they do will come to nothing and they themselves will perish.

That is why Jesus said:”Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all the other things will be added unto you.” God knows what we need and He wants to freely give it to us but we must OBEY Him. We must OBEY the words of Jesus because those are the words of eternal life. If we disobey the words of Jesus, we will perish. If you want eternal life, REPENT, turn away form sin and turn away from your own plans and DO the will of God because those who do the will of God they WILL LIVE FOR EVER.

God has prepared works for us to do. He has a plan with each and every one of us but we can only walk in God's plan and have LIFE, eternal life IF we GO AFTER Jesus, if we FOLLOW Him and we OBEY Him until the end of our lives, then we will have eternal life. But if we go after sin and our own desires, we will perish.

Are you following Jesus Christ on the straight and narrow road that leads to life? Or are you on the broad road to destruction? Are you DOING the will of God or are you running after your own desires?

You must do your part

Many believers are under the impression that if they accept Jesus Christ then He becomes their personal servant and that He will do things for them. Jesus Christ has already done everything that God the Father sent Him to do. Jesus Christ came as a man and He did what the Father told Him to do. He delivered the Words of the Father and He showed us the way. He gave us the words of life and then He sacrificed Himself for us so that IF we believe in Him and we OBEY Him we can have eternal life.

Jesus has done everything that He was sent to do but now it is our turn TO DO OUR PART if we want eternal life. Jesus said that:”Whoever WISHES to come after Me, must deny himself, pick up his cross every day and come here, FOLLOW Me.” If we want eternal life we must go after Jesus every day. We must obey His words. We must seek the guidance of His Holy Spirit. God has prepared works for us to do in His kingdom. If we want eternal life then we must go after Jesus and He will guide us by His Holy Spirit to do those works which the Father prepared for us to do in His kingdom.

WE NEED TO DO OUR PART. If we do not obey Jesus, REPENT of sin and of going after our own desires and our own plans and if we do not GO AFTER HIM, every day, seek Him, follow Him and DO what God called us to do then we will not have eternal life!

Jesus did His part. Now is our turn to do our part to prove our love for Him. If we refuse to go after Him and do the works that God prepared for us to do, we will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Have you made up your mind to follow Jesus? Have you denied yourself? Are you picking up your cross every day and following Jesus? Have you obeyed His words? Have you been baptized in water and have you received the Holy Spirit? Are you following the guidance of the Holy Spirit EVERY DAY and DOING what He has called you to do?

If you do not DO YOUR PART you WILL NOT have eternal life.

Sheep, Sheeple and Goats

Very few of those who profess to be Christians are truly followers of Jesus Christ. Amongst the flock there are sheep, and sheep, and there are also goats. Not all of the sheep are His sheep. His sheep are the ones who LISTEN to His voice and who FOLLOW Him and who DO what is pleasing to Him.

There are other sheep also. Sheep follow sheep. Some believers think that if they follow the true believers that they will also enter the kingdom of heaven but you can only be pleasing to Jesus if you are one of HIS sheep, if you listen to His voice and you follow Him. Those other sheep do not listen to His voice. They are the ones who sit in church, who follow the wolves in the pulpits. They are manipulated and exploited by the hirelings.

Amongst the flock there are also goats. Goats follow their own mind. They are very clever. They think that they can make it on their own onto the kingdom of heaven. They are self righteous and selfish. They justify their selfish deeds, their wickedness, their own opinion, with scripture (bible verses), but they have no relationship with Jesus Christ. They are self righteous and many of the sheep also follow them, they are exploited by them.

The day is coming when the Good Shepherd will separate the sheep from the goats and He will also separate His sheep from the other sheep. Are you one of HIS SHEEP, those who follow Him, who OBEY Him, who LISTEN and who DO what is pleasing to Him? Because they are the ones who will enter into His kingdom. The rest will perish.

Enter the rest of Jesus Christ

Those who love and follow Jesus Christ have entered His rest, the rest of their OWN works but it does not mean that they are doing nothing. They are DOING the WORKS OF GOD that He has prepared for those who love Him.

Jesus commanded us to work while it is still day time before night comes (death) when nobody can work. If we follow Jesus Christ we rest of our OWN WORKS and our own endeavors, we stop chasing after wind, we get out of the rat race and we wait on Jesus, we serve Him and we DO what He tells us to do because we are not running after our own desires any more; we are WALKING and LIVING in the plan that God has prepared for us. We have become part of the kingdom of God and we DO what is pleasing to Him. We rest of our OWN works but we DO the works of Christ. We live in utter obedience to Him.

Many believers don't want to work for the kingdom of God and that is why they will not enter the rest of Christ, they will not enter the kingdom of God. Eternal life is only promised to those who are willing to work now so that they can have their rest after they have completed the works that God has prepared for us to do in His kingdom.

Are you resting of your OWN works and your own endeavors and are you following Jesus Christ and doing the works that God has prepared for YOU to do in His kingdom so that you can enter into His eternal rest?

Called to Victory

Jesus is calling each one of us, with a wonderful purpose, He is calling us to overcome and to win the prize of eternal life. He is not setting us up for failure, He is guiding us to victory but we have to FOLLOW Him. We have to follow HIS PLAN, we have to remain IN HIM or else we will not make it.

If we do not overcome the flesh and if we do not overcome satan and the world it is because WE are not following Jesus. The fault does not lie with Jesus but with US. WE need to deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Jesus Christ every day. We need to submit to Him, OBEY Him, STAY IN HIM, we need to PRAY and seek Him always. On our own we cannot make it but WITH JESUS it is impossible to fail. If we fail it is because WE have turned away from Jesus, it is because WE have strayed.

We are called to victory but we have to STAY WITH JESUS CHRIST and OBEY Him. We need to FOLLOW Him, every step of the way until the very end. Are you following Jesus? Are you overcoming? Are you DOING what He is telling you to do?

Real Christians

Real Christians are followers of Jesus Christ. They only have one thing on their mind and that is JESUS and being pleasing to Him in every thought and in every deed. Their mind is not set on the things of the world and on themselves. They seek to please their Master.

They are His sheep, they LISTEN to His voice and they follow Him. Nothing is more important to them than abiding in His words, DOING what He commanded. His words are always their meditation, they are always thinking of the words of Jesus as they are also written in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. They are always praying, they seek to be close to Jesus. Their spirit is united with Him. The things of the world make no sense to them. They LISTEN to Jesus, they FOLLOW Him, they GO where He sends them and they DO what he tells them to do. They are not of this world. They are of Jesus Christ their Lord and Master and of His kingdom. They are not interested in the rat race. They are not interested in being accepted by men. They are not interested in religion. All that matters to them is Jesus Christ.

Are you a REAL CHRISTIAN? Are you a REAL follower of Jesus? Do you look like Jesus? Are you also like Him hated, rejected and persecuted? Are you like His first followers who were most of them killed because they loved Jesus and they LIVED like Him. Do you live like Jesus? Do you look like Jesus or are you like the world? Are you a true follower of Jesus Christ or are you just a fake?

What is holding you back

Jesus Christ is inviting us to become part of His Kingdom and to have eternal life but we will have to follow Him. We will have to go where He guides us and do what He tells us to do. We will have to give up our rights to ourselves and to the things that we desire and do that which is pleasing to Him. 
Most people will not follow Jesus because they are not willing to give up their rights to themselves, they are not willing to go where He sends them. They are not willing to do what He tells them to do. They are chasing after wind. They occupy themselves with things that will perish in the end and that is why they will not have eternal life. 
Without Jesus Christ there is no life, there is no eternal life. If we are not willing right now to give up whatever He requires of us, then we are not worthy of Him and then we are not worthy of that prize of eternal life. Jesus is not asking part of us, He is not asking ten percent or a tithing, He requires utter and total submission and obedience to Him. Either we submit totally to Him or we are none of Him. 
Jesus said: "Why do you call Me, Lord, Lord and do not what I say." Are you willing to abandon everything, to obey Jesus, to go where He sends you and to do what he tells you to do? If not, then you will not have eternal life. Jesus promises us the biggest price imaginable, eternal life but in the return for that He requires our utmost devotion. Are you willing to give it all up and follow Jesus Christ? May Jesus bless you. 

You are invited

You are invited to become a child of God and spend eternity with Him in His kingdom. Jesus Christ is the King of kings and the Lord of lords and He offers us eternal life in His presence IF we bow down and serve Him, IF we follow Him. But if we want to be with Him for eternity WE HAVE TO START FOLLOWING HIM RIGHT NOW and we need to endure and STAY WITH HIM until the end of our lives and then we will receive that prize of eternal life.

Jesus invites us to follow Him as from RIGHT NOW, from this very moment, to turn away from sin, turn away from going after our own plans and our own endeavors and to submit ourselves to Him as Lord and King and Master, to serve Him and to follow Him and be with Him for eternity.

If we reject that invitation we are doomed for ever and eternity but if we accept that invitation we have to SERVE Him and FOLLOW Him HIS WAY. We have got to get to know Him for real. He is SPIRIT and those who worship and follow Him, they worship Him in SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH. If you want to accept that invitation, go on your knees right now and cry out to Jesus, submit yourself to Him, turn away from your evil ways and seek Him with all your heart and He will reveal Himself to you, but YOU HAVE TO BE SERIOUS. If you are not serious Jesus will not answer your prayer, we cannot fool Him. But if you come to Him with all your heart he will embrace you and He will accept you. Will you accept that invitation of eternal life? Or will you reject your only opportunity of LIFE in the kingdom of God?

Seek Jesus now, before it is too late and NEVER TURN AWAY FROM HIM because if we stray from Him we will certainly perish. Seek Jesus now and make the best of your opportunity.

The Master is calling

Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd, is calling us to follow Him because He wants to give us eternal life. His sheep LISTEN to His voice and the FOLLOW Him. They will not go after strangers but they will run away from strangers.

Jesus is knocking at the door of every heart, He wants to come in and have meal time with us. He wants to cleanse us of all unrighteousness and He wants us to live in close relationship with Him. He wants to guide us and teach us and give us eternal life, but if we do not open the door of our heart and invite Jesus in, we will never get to know Him and we will never become sheep of his pasture.

People listen to other people, they follow their own mind and they reject Jesus, and that is why they will end up in eternal damnation. Jesus Christ Himself guides His own sheep. If we open the door of our heart He comes in and He guides us. His Spirit comes and lives in us and we must LISTEN to Him, FOLLOW Him and OBEY Him. Without Jesus we can do nothing, nobody else can give us eternal life, we need Jesus Christ Himself, the Living God, the Life Giving Spirit.

Have you opened your heart to Jesus? Have you invited Him in? Have you turned away from sin and from following your own mind, from following other people and are you LISTENING to Him? Are you FOLLOWING Jesus Christ? Do you KNOW His VOICE? His sheep LISTEN to His VOICE and they FOLLOW Him. Are you one of His sheep?

Those who are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God. Have you become a child of God or are you running after strangers? The Master is calling YOU and me to follow Him. Are you following the Master or are you following after strangers?

Fools trust in flesh

To trust in flesh is utter foolishness because all men are flesh and they can die any time. All men are liars, not because they always want to lie but because their knowledge is incomplete. The only one whom we can trust in is Jesus Christ.

It is written in Jeremiah 17:5 “Cursed is the man who puts his trust in mankind and whose heart turns away from the Lord his God.” Yet, people trust in people because they can see people, they cannot see God. They don't trust in God because he is not real to them, they don't trust in Jesus because Jesus is not REAL to them. Even believers do not trust in Jesus because they do not know Him.

Many believers will stand in front of Jesus and He will say to them:”Go away from Me I never knew you, you workers of wickedness.” That is because they never knew Him, they never trusted Him and they never followed Him. You only get to know Jesus when you put your trust in Him and you OBEY Him because then He reveals Himself to you. As long as you still trust in yourself and in other people you will never get to know Jesus because Jesus is not your source of supply. If you OBEY Jesus and deny yourself, abandon your own wisdom, abandon your own means and put your trust in Him, then you will get to know Him, because only then you will pray and He will answer. As long as you still trust in yourself you have no reason to pray. As long as you trust in other people you have no reason to ask Jesus anything and He will not supply to you because you will not give Him the glory or the honor, you will not recognize Him.

People trust in people and they end up in eternal damnation because they never get to know Jesus Christ for real!

Foolish Believers

Many people claim to believe in Jesus for salvation but they have a false hope because they do not truly believe and follow Him. They do not obey Him. Those same people will call you irresponsible if you truly trust and follow Jesus, if you take His words seriously.

Many believers regard the words of Jesus as impractical, impossible to keep. They say that you cannot stop sinning, you cannot take the words of Jesus Christ literally. Those people do not really believe because the words of Jesus Christ is foolishness for those who perish even though they call themselves believers. If we do not TRUST and OBEY Jesus then our faith is in vain.

The “wise” people of this world, the educated people, will not follow Jesus, they will not obey Him because they want to figure Him out, they follow after their own wisdom and after their own desires and that is why they will never KNOW Jesus Christ.

You only get to know Jesus when you OBEY Him, when you do your utmost to OBEY Him, and you WILL pay a price. If you truly trust in Jesus and you obey His words you will be called a fool, you will be called irresponsible but you will only see the hand of God moving in your life IF you trust Him and you OBEY His words. You will be rejected by men but you will experience Jesus Christ as real and alive.

The religious people of this world who call themselves biblical will not follow Jesus Christ because they comply with a set of rules that they have made from the scriptures but they will not trust and obey Jesus Christ. If you want to be approved of by Jesus then your faith will be tested by Him and He will confirm you when you OBEY and FOLLOW Him, you will know Him through your testimony, through that which He has done because you obeyed Him.

The hand of God only moves in your life when you OBEY Him. Jesus shows Himself as REAL to those who TRUST and OBEY Him. Those who want to be accepted by the world and those who want to justify themselves will not follow Jesus Christ. Those who follow Jesus will be branded as irrational, irresponsible, foolish!

You have no excuse

Nobody will have any excuse when they stand before the judgment throne of God because we all know the truth. God has revealed it in us and to us. I read the words of the apostle Paul as written in Romans 1:18 in the New American Standard Version: “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,  19because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing to be wise,they became fools, 23and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.”

People have made up their own God, they have denied that which God has revealed to them and in them.

“24Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them.25For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.”
We can see that in the world around us. People glorify the creature and they run after the lusts of the flesh and therefor we see what God has done.
“26For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.”
People are denying the existence of God and this here is the result.
“28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, GOD GAVE THEM OVER TO A DEPRAVED MIND, TO DO THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE NOT PROPER, 29being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice;[they are] gossips, 30slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.”
That is the reprobate society that we are living in today. They have denied God and God has GIVEN THEM OVER to their lusts. He has given them over to a reprobate mind. They do not know to do right any more. God delivers us to our lusts and to our desires if we keep on denying Him but WE WILL ALL BE JUDGED BY GOD! God is the impartial judge and we will not escape the judgment or the wrath of God.
We read in Romans 2:6 “God who WILL RENDER TO EACH PERSON ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS: 7to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; 8but to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation. 9[There will be] tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek, 10but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.11For there is no partiality with God.”
God requires of us that we live righteously in obedience to Jesus Christ. The soul that sins will die. Most Christians profess to be sinners. They have never repented. They continue in sin, they are reprobates and God has given them over to their lusts. He has given them over to a reprobate mind, but He will impartially judge those who continue in their wickedness. God will reward every man according to their deeds.
Nobody will have any excuse, not even those who have not heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. We read in Romans 2:14 “For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves,15in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, 16on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus.”
Nobody will have any excuse. We all KNOW RIGHT FROM WRONG because God has planted the knowledge of truth in us. He will judge every man righteously by their deeds.

Greener Pastures

The whole world is chasing after wind, being part of the rat race, seeking for greener pastures which they never find. But, those who are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God and He leads them to greener pastures.
The only One who can lead us and take us to green pastures where we find rest for our souls, is Jesus Christ Himself. His sheep LISTEN to His voice and they follow Him but if you want to be one of His sheep you have to deny yourself, pick up your cross and follow Jesus every day. He will guide you to green pastures but He will also take you through the narrow places, He will take you through the shadow of death. You will be persecuted, you will be rejected by men, but in all these things Jesus will be with you and in the end He will guide you to greener pastures.
His sheep LISTEN to His voice and they follow Him and that is why He guides them. That is why they reach that place of rest. Are you following the Good Shepherd? Have you denied yourself  and are you picking up your cross every day and following Jesus? There is a way that seems right to man but the end of that road is destruction. Only Jesus Christ can guide us to that place of perfect rest, perfect peace and  perfect contentment when we SUBMIT TO Him and we SERVE HIM as Lord and Master.
Have you decided to follow the  Good Shepherd? Is He YOUR Lord and Master? Or, are you chasing after wind?

Who will enter heaven?

Jesus said that:”Not everyone who says to Me Lord, Lord will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father.” Jesus did not speak His own words, He only spoke what the Father told Him to say and the words of Jesus, the words that He spoke, are the words of eternal life for those who OBEY them.

Just believing in Jesus Christ is not enough. If we believe in Jesus and we put our hope in Him then we must OBEY His words. Only those who LOVE Jesus and who OBEY Him will enter into the kingdom of heaven. He said:”If you love Me, obey My commandments, DO what I tell you to do.” He also said:”Why do you call Me Lord, Lord and you do not what I say?”

There are many people who say that they believe in Jesus, they call themselves Christians but they do not obey the words of Jesus. The words that Jesus spoke, the words of eternal life, were recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. If we want eternal life we must obey those words and then Jesus will reveal Himself to us, we will get to know Him.

If we disobey the words of Jesus then we do not love Him and we will not have eternal life. Do you obey Jesus? Do you deny yourself, pick up your cross and follow Jesus every day? Do you DO what He tells you to do? Do you truly LOVE Jesus?

Living in the presence of Jesus

Jesus Christ came to save the world from damnation and He has never left this world. Even after He was crucified He sent His very own Holy Spirit to guide us and to coach us, to be with us for eternity. God is spirit. The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment and Jesus gives His Holy Spirit in those who repent, who seek Him. The Holy Spirit guides them every step of the way, It is the presence of Jesus WITH THEM. They have the mind of Christ with them, guiding them every step of the way.

Jesus did not send us a book, he did not send us people to guide us. He Himself guides every disciple by His Spirit. If we REPENT and SEEK Jesus Christ then He gives of His Spirit to dwell IN US, to be with us, to guide us every step of the way. We are never alone. He is with us.

The Holy Spirit will never make you feel good about yourself. He will guide you into all truth. The words of Jesus are always painful to the flesh because He guides us into that which is pleasing to Him IF we SEEK Him and we LISTEN and we OBEY.

Have you met Jesus? Have you received the Holy Spirit? If you repent, turn away from your futile lifestyle, go on your knees and cry out to Jesus then He will reveal Himself to you. Embrace Him, turn away from sin, be holy, be baptized in water and He will fill you with His Spirit. Open the door of your heart to Jesus Christ. Invite Him in and He will come and dwell with you. His Spirit will guide you every step of the way and you will have eternal life, IF you OBEY Him and FOLLOW Him, IF you stay in that close relationship with Him until the very, very end.

Seek Jesus with all your heart and He will give you His Holy Spirit to be with you, to guide you, until the very very end. Seek Jesus TODAY and STAY with Him until the end.

The only way to eternal life

There is a road that seems right to man but the end of that road leads to death. Jesus Christ alone is the way and the truth and the life. All power and all authority belongs to Him and He will decide who will have eternal life and who not. Jesus Christ Himself came and He instructed us how we should live if we want eternal life. If we do not OBEY His words we will not have eternal life.

The words of Jesus were recorded by the eye witnesses, they are written in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. If we want eternal life we must take those words seriously because if we do not live according to those words we will not know Jesus, we will not get to know Him. He said that:”He who has My words and and who keeps them, is the one who loves Me, and I will reveal Myself to him.”(John 14:21-23) If you have heard the words of Jesus, if you have read them and you have taken them seriously and you OBEY them then Jesus Christ will reveal Himself to you as real and you will get to know Him. If you disregard His words, you will never know Him and you will perish.

Many believers read the Bible but they do not obey the words of Jesus, THEY WILL PERISH. He will say to many religious people:”Go away I never knew you, you workers of wickedness.” He will say that to them because they never OBEYED His words, they never got to know Him, they never followed Him. Jesus Christ alone is the way and the truth and the life. His words are the words of eternal life to those who obey them.

Do you OBEY the words of Jesus? Have you come to KNOW Him? His sheep LISTEN to His voice and they follow Him. Are you one of His sheep? What will Jesus say to you if you should die to day? Will He know you or will He refuse you? Get to know Jesus TODAY and OBEY Him or you will perish.
