Be careful - Be sure

Salvation is not a process where you follow certain steps. Salvation is KNOWING JESUS CHRIST, THE LIVING GOD, FOR REAL, OBEYING HIM AND FOLLOWING HIM. It is about a REAL relationship with the living God. It is not about following a series of steps, it is not about believing ON Jesus Christ, it is about KNOWING Jesus Christ.

It is through our relationship with Jesus that we get to know Him more and better every day. If we do not KNOW Jesus for real and He does not know us, then we do not have salvation because we do not know the ONE who saves. It is Jesus Christ who saves us from our sin and who gives us eternal life IF we follow Him and OBEY Him. It is our relationship with Jesus that causes us to stop sinning, to follow after Him and to DO what is pleasing to Him. It is knowing Jesus Christ as LORD and MASTER that makes us part of the kingdom of God where we serve Jesus Christ as LORD. Our relationship with Him is all that matters. It is not about our relationship and fellowship with fellow believers, it is not about our Bible knowledge. It is about KNOWING Jesus Christ and being careful to FOLLOW Him and DO every day, that which is leasing to Him.

Our focus must be ON JESUS. Is Jesus pleased with me, right now? Jesus said:”My sheep LISTEN to My voice and they FOLLOW Me.” Are you LISTENING to His voice? Do you truly KNOW Him and do you FOLLOW Him? If we do not FOLLOW and OBEY Jesus every day of our lives then we do not have salvation. Do you have eternal life? Do you have a real relationship with Jesus Christ and is He pleased with you?
