Don't be spooked

Many believers are very unstable. They are easily frightened by what is happening in the media, in the News. They run after every new bit of teaching, little “revelations” from people who claim to be prophets and men and women of God.
If you follow Jesus Christ then you are not swayed, you are led by the Holy Spirit, you are not spooked by every new little story, you LISTEN to the Holy Spirit because you are one of Jesus' sheep. You WAIT on Him and you are guided by His Holy Spirit. You are not spooked by every new little thing that happens. You are like a tree that is planted by the water stream. Even in difficult times, times of trouble and turmoil you still bear fruit. You are founded on the Rock, Jesus Christ, and you ARE NOT MOVED because Jesus is not moved.
Are you easily spooked? Or do you trust in Jesus? Do you wait on Him and follow Him? If you trust in Jesus you are never deterred because you KNOW the ONE in whom you have believed. You TRUST Him and you follow Him and you DO what is pleasing to Him no matter what other people think or what is happening in the world because Jesus is in control and you are following Him.
