Beyond the Bible

To most believers, their knowledge of Jesus is restricted by their knowledge of the Bible or what other people have told them. They know ABOUT JESUS but they DON’T KNOW JESUS.  We can know Jesus and the only way to truly know Him is THROUGH REVELATION, when you get to know Him through your RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM.
If we OBEY the WORDS OF JESUS that He spoke and that are written in the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John then He will REVEAL HIMSELF to us.  If we REPENT of SIN and from serving ourselves and we start following Jesus, we are baptized in water, then He promised us the Holy Spirit who will come and live in us and will guide us and teach us and reveal  HIM, JESUS to us. I read from John 14:21 Jesus said: "He who has My commandments, and keeps them, he it is who loves Me: and he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him, and will DISCLOSE MYSELF TO HIM.” If we love Him and we obey Him, we stop sinning and we follow Jesus, He will reveal Himself to us by His Spirit who comes and dwells in us. I read in John 14:26 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, HE WILL TEACH YOU ALL THINGS, and bring to your remembrance that I said to you.” He says in John 16:13 “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and HE WILL DISCLOSE TO YOU WHAT IS TO COME.” He will reveal to us the mind of Christ, the Kingdom of God. He will open it up to us and explain it to us.
Everything that can be known of Jesus and of God is not written in the Bible. We read in John 21:25 “And there were also MANY OTHER THINGS WHICH JESUS DID, which if they were written in detail, I suppose that even the world itself would not contain the books which were written.” There is much more to be known beyond the Bible but you need to KNOW JESUS, you need to OBEY HIM, you need to SEEK HIM and Jesus will say to many believers in that day: "Go away I never knew you" because they NEVER GOT TO KNOW HIM. Maybe they knew the Bible, or they were church goers, but they never got to know Jesus. The only way that you get to know Jesus is through revelation, through a close relationship when you obey Him and live in utter holiness, you LISTEN to the HOLY SPIRIT, you OBEY and you FOLLOW and then HE REVEALS HIMSELF to you, more and more. HE GUIDES you into HIS KINGDOM.
