Salvation cannot BELONG to you - YOU NEVER OWN IT

Salvation is not a POSSESSION. It is not something that can belong to you.  People are concerned about losing their salvation, it never belonged to you.  Salvation is a HOPE that we have.  We have the HOPE of eternal life IF we FOLLOW JESUS and we OBEY HIM UNTIL THE END of our life.  It is not a possession.  To be saved means, to be delivered from the bondage of sin and to receive the HOPE of final salvation.  How does that happen? We are SAVED when we TURN AWAY FROM SIN and FROM SERVING OURSELVES.  We accept Jesus as our LORD and MASTER, our KING and we plead His forgiveness for our sins, we REPENT, we TURN AWAY from serving ourselves and we SERVE JESUS, we OBEY HIM.  We STOP SINNING, we are BAPTIZED IN WATER and then we have the HOPE of final salvation IF we ENDURE, IF we KEEP ON FOLLOWING JESUS UNTIL the very end.
It is not a possession, it is a HOPE and they asked Jesus whether those who are being saved are FEW.  He said:"NARROW IS THE DOOR and FEW THEIR BE THAT FIND IT."  We must ENDURE until the very end.  Very few will eventually be saved because most people drop out.  They DON”T FOLLOW JESUS until the very end. Salvation is not a possession, it is a HOPE, a living hope and we must keep that hope alive until the very end, through our OBEDIENCE TO JESUS, our RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM.  If we don’t have a living relationship with Him, He will say to us: "GO AWAY, I NEVER KNEW YOU."  Do you have that LIVING HOPE? How is your relationship with Jesus?
