Faithfulness

Jesus requires of us that we be faithful to Him, that we deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Him every day. Our mind must always be on Jesus, seeking to please Him. Very few people are faithful to their spouses. Some do not physically cheat on their spouse but in their mind they are fornicating, they are adulterating, they are desiring another person. They are adulterers, fornicators. Jesus said that if you look at a woman to desire her, you have already committed adultery in your heart. If we allow our mind to wonder away from Jesus and we desire the world and the things of the world then we are not faithful to Him and He regards us as adulterers. Are we faithful to Jesus? Is our mind always on the Lord? Are we always occupying ourselves with Jesus? Do we deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Him? Are we faithful to Jesus? May Jesus bless you.
