Peace from above

Salvation is about being at peace with God our Creator, living in His presence with nothing separating us from Him. Sin separates us from God and Jesus Christ takes away our sin if we repent and obey Him, and then He gives us PEACE that passes all understanding. That is the confirmation that we have that we are accepted by God and that He is pleased with us. But if we do wrong then the Holy Spirit immediately convicts us of sin, righteousness and judgment, the wrath of God. If we LISTEN to the voice of the Holy Spirit we immediately repent and we come back into the peace of God but if we persist in our disobedience we can expect discipline, punishment and eventually we will get cut off if we keep on disobeying Him. We need to stay in the peace of God. We are at peace with God when we do what is pleasing to Him and then we enjoy His favor and His peace that passes all understanding. Are you at peace with God? Are you DOING what is pleasing to Him? Are you living in that close relationship with Jesus where you enjoy that peace that passes all understanding? Do you have that PEACE FROM ABOVE?
