The fruit that we bear is a result of our relationship with Jesus. To be in Christ means to be in that very close relationship with Jesus, in total obedience to Him, constantly living in prayer, seeking to be pleasing to Him. Our mind on Christ and then the Holy Spirit fertilizes our mind. He puts in us the mind of Christ which GUIDES us into fruitfulness. You cannot bear fruit if your mind is not on Christ. If you are not seeking to be pleasing to Jesus. What is the fruit what we will bear? The greatest commission that Jesus gave was as we read in Matthew 28:18 “And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." If we are in Christ, then we are disciples we listen to the voice of the Master and it is only when we are ourselves disciples that we can make disciples. Any relationship must have an offspring, there must be production and re-production. If we do not reproduce disciples then we are fruitless and we are close to being cut off but it is through our close relationship with Jesus that we can produce, because without Jesus we can do nothing. But if we stay close to Him, if we are constantly in prayer seeking to please Him, then His Spirit living in us will guide us step by step. Dear friend the fruit that we bear is a result of our relationship with Jesus. No fruit no relationship and then we will be cut off. Are you bearing fruit? How is your relationship with Jesus? Do you pray? Do you constantly seek to be pleasing to Him or are you fruitless? May Jesus bless you.

Bearing More Fruit - How?
Jesus said that every branch in Him that does not bear fruit, will be cut off and put in the fire. So it is essential that we bear fruit. The fruit that we bear is a result of our relationship with Jesus. We cannot bear fruit if we are not WITH JESUS, if we do not ABIDE IN HIM. I read from John 15:4-6 He says "abide in Me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.”
