Real Christians avoid sin at all cost

A real Christian is a follower of Jesus, he avoids sin at all cost. He does everything in his power to be pleasing to Jesus, because he is continually focused on Jesus Christ, Himself. He listens to that soft voice of the Holy Spirit in Him, guiding Him into truth and into righteousness. He knows that any sin, any disobedience to Jesus, to the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to him, will damage his relationship, will cut him off from Jesus. He wants to be pure and holy. He does not take a chance with sin.

If you drive along the freeway you cannot just drive off the road and hope to get back on the road. You must stay on the road because if you go off the road, chances are that you will be fatally injured or you will kill yourself. The same with sin. If you follow Jesus, you don't play with sin. You avoid sin and temptation at all cost and you seek to be pleasing to Jesus all the time.
