Being Transformed by Jesus

A person who is following Jesus, becomes like Jesus. He becomes a child of God and he is transformed into that same image. He looks like Jesus. We read in 2 Corinthians 3:17,18 “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, ARE BEING TRANSFORMED INTO THE SAME IMAGE FROM GLORY TO GLORY, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.”
If we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and we have received the Holy Spirit then we will be changing into His image, from glory to glory. We will not look like the world any more, we will not speak like the world. We will not be interested in the same things. We will not want to be like the celebrities or like some idol. We will become like Jesus because we are then living in His presence and like looking into a mirror it reflects back onto us and we are changed into His likeness.
Have you changed into the likeness of Jesus Christ since you have become a child of God? Many people have just become religious, they are hypocrites. They are sinners, still love the world, they love the things of the world, they love their TV, they want to be like the world, they are in the same rat race, they never started following Jesus because if you follow Jesus you will become like Him.
Have you changed into the likeness of Christ? Are you being transformed to be like Jesus? Are you truly following Jesus?
