Making Wise the Simple

Knowledge is power, that is what we have been taught, but knowledge and education does not make a person wise. I have done a lot of studying myself and I have a few post-graduate degrees but in my studies and in my work I have met some very educated people that were extremely foolish. I have met many people who have a lot of Bible knowledge but they are FOOLISH BECAUSE THEY DON'T FEAR GOD, they don't know Jesus. Because of their knowledge they think that they know more than God and they reject true wisdom. They reject Jesus. Jesus Christ is the wisdom of God and he gives wisdom to the simple, to those that do not lean on their own understanding, their own education, their own knowledge, their own knowledge of the Bible, but who are teachable and who humbly come and bow before Jesus, who walk with Him, day by day and He teaches them wisdom. True wisdom is in the words of Jesus Christ, those words that are written in the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) that are rejected by the world, that are rejected by theologians as impractical, those are the words of life, the words of Jesus as they are also written in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. If we OBEY them and DO them, then we come closer to Jesus. If we OBEY Him He reveals Himself to us and HE IS THE WISDOM OF GOD. If we lean on our own understanding and we treasure other things, other wisdom and other knowledge above knowing Jesus then we are foolish. True wisdom comes through our relationship with Jesus. It is only when we start OBEYING Jesus; we REPENT of evil, and live in RIGHTEOUSNESS, PRACTICE RIGHTEOUSNESS and HOLINESS THEN HE REVEALS HIMSELF TO US, then He teaches us true wisdom. Jesus makes wise the simple, those people who humble themselves before Him. Jesus was rejected by the scribes and pharisees, the educated people of the time. They were the ones who had Him crucified, and even today those LITERATE, EDUCATED, BIBLE BELIEVING folk are those ones who don't know Jesus, who reject Him in favor of their own knowledge because they lean on their own understanding and they reject Jesus Christ. If you want true wisdom and guidance, if you want eternal life, humble yourself before Jesus, take His words seriously because His words are the words of eternal life to those who BELIEVE HIS WORDS and OBEY Him.
