Man's Plans

There is not such thing as self determination and democracy. God determines all things. Man plans His ways but God determines his footsteps. There is only one kingdom that will last and that is the kingdom of God. There is only one plan that will be executed flawlessly and that is God's plan. Nothing in life works out the way that we have planned it and unless we learn to submit to God and let Him have His way, our plans will always be frustrated.

Somebody asked me recently, what are my plans for the future. I have learned a long time ago that my plans do not work out. God destroys our plans in order for us to learn to fit into His plan because God's plan is the best plan. I have seen people work their whole life, plan their retirement and then just on retirement they die. It is like the rich man who had accumulated riches for himself but God said to him:”You fool, in this night I will take your soul from you.”

It is foolish to think that we can plan our own lives without taking God into consideration. If we want eternal life and life in abundance we must ABANDON OUR OWN PLANS and seek the kingdom of God, accept Jesus as the LORD OF OUR LIVES, no longer plan our life but LISTEN to Him and FOLLOW Him. Jesus is ALIVE and He guides His sheep. He gives them eternal life, those who follow Him, but those who do not follow Him are frustrated.

God destroys the plans of many of His children because they refuse to walk in His plan. He does it because He cares for them. If they walk in their own ways according to their own plans they cannot please God. We can only please God if we LISTEN to the Holy Spirit, if we are led by the Holy Spirit and if we OBEY, DO what He tells us to do. God is ALIVE! JESUS IS ALIVE! And He puts His Spirit of LIFE into those who accept Him as LORD, who truly BELIEVE. Most people don't believe, they don't believe God is alive. They don't really believe. Do you really believe? Have you abandoned your own plans and are you waiting on Jesus, the Holy Spirit, to speak to you, to guide you? Or are you still busy with your own plans because our plans will not succeed.

There is only one plan and that is God's plan and His name is JESUS! He is the Way and the Life and the Truth. LISTEN to Him and FOLLOW Him or you will certainly perish!
