Following Preachers, Prophets and Prophetic Ministries?

There are many popular preachers, prophets and prophetic ministries. Believers run after these people. There is one quality that all true prophets of God have in common and that is that people will HATE them, they REJECT them and they often get KILLED. It is the FALSE PROPHETS that are the popular ones. There are some ministries build around these prophets. As soon as a person starts running after people his eyes are not on God anymore and he is looking at that person. The prophet Jeremiah said, I read from Jeremiah 17:5 “Thus says the LORD, "Cursed is the man who puts his trust in mankind And makes flesh his strength, And whose heart turns away from the LORD.” When you put your trust in a MAN, a preacher, a woman, a prophet , then you don’t trust  in God anymore, you trust in man and you are cursed by God. And you will certainly be deceived. God has caught many people in their deception because they ran after prophets. We read in 1 Kings 22:23 "Now therefore, behold, the LORD has put a deceiving spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; and the LORD has proclaimed DISASTER against you." If you run after a prophet, a preacher, if you run after flesh, you are heading for disaster. You need to be following after Jesus. You need to be praying and asking your wisdom from HIM or else you are heading down the ditch. Jesus said:"My sheep listen to My voice and they follow Me." Who are you following? Where do you get your wisdom? Are you running after people? Have you got a favorite prophet, you tube channel, preacher, or are you following Jesus?
