Saved? How to tell

How do you know whether a person is saved? Well, a person who is saved DOES NOT SIN ANY MORE because Jesus has made him free from the bondage of sin. “He who sins is a slave of sin.” (John 8:34)

If Jesus has made you free then you don't sin any more. Whether such a person will have eternal life depends on whether he endures until the end, whether he stays with Jesus and he keeps on obeying Jesus Christ. That is why Jesus said that THOSE WHO ENDURE UNTIL THE END, they WILL BE SAVED, in the end. They have the HOPE of eternal life, but those who sin are not saved, they don't know Jesus. If you have met Jesus then He DELIVERS you from the power of sin and you don't sin any more. So if a person tells you that he is saved but he still sins, then he is just deceived, he is not saved. He is still in his sin and he is on his way to hell, because the WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH.

As long as a person sins, he is not saved at all.
