These signs WILL follow

Jesus said that certain signs will follow those who believed in Him. We read in Mark 16:15 “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16“He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. 17“THESE SIGNS WILL ACCOMPANY THOSE WHO HAVE BELIEVED: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; 18they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

These signs did follow the first believers, those who believed in Jesus, who repented of their sins, who were baptized in water. They were baptized in the Holy Spirit and these signs followed. The book of Acts records all these things that happened to those people.

WHY ARE THESE THINGS NOT HAPPENING TODAY? Jesus has not changed, Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and for ever. People have changed. People HAVE NOT BELIEVED, people have not REPENTED, they disobey Jesus, they have not been baptized in water, they are not following Jesus Christ! If these signs are NOT following then it is because there was no faith.

CAN SUCH FAITH SAVE A MAN?
