All scripture was not inspired by God, but those scriptures that were inspired by God are certainly good for instruction, leading us to godliness. I read from 2 Timothy 3:16. Paul writes to Timothy: “All Scripture is inspired by God...” Here is where it went wrong, my friends. The scriptures were translated and modified by crafty men who put the emphasis on the written words instead of on God whom it is about and therefor they changed these words around. They say: “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable...” NO “All Scripture THAT IS inspired by God IS profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;” and that goes for all writings of men, which the Bible also is, it is a writing of men. But all of the Bible is definitely not inspired by God. It was written by men, with the wisdom given them by God, but not one single man has all the wisdom. All the wisdom belongs to God. Neither is the Bible inerrant. There are errors like this one and many others that were deliberately put there in order that the clergy can manipulate the people by using the Bible, the scriptures, and attaching their own interpretations to those words so that they can control the believers.
We must be led by the Holy Spirit. We must not be controlled by people or by writings. Those scriptures that are inspired by God lead us to HIM, to faith in Christ and to getting our wisdom from God, not from men. All these scriptures were not inspired by God. The Song of Solomon is definitely not inspired by God, that was inspired by the lust of Solomon. God gave Solomon much wisdom but he did a lot of foolish things also with all the women that he kept.
Dear friends, we must focus on Jesus, on God, not men. Jesus said that the flesh is useless but people choose to ignore that. They focus on those scriptures that suit them. Jesus is the wisdom of God. He sent the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth and the scriptures must inspire us to obey Jesus to ask our wisdom from Him. If you go to the Christian bookshops there are some writings there that were inspired by God but definitely not all of it, there is a lot of junk also. If a writing does not bring you closer to Jesus and bring you on your knees in adoration of Him, then it is not of God and neither can you put the scriptures next to Jesus. JESUS IS LORD above all! All wisdom belongs to Him. You cannot elevate the scriptures to the level of the Holy Spirit, neither can you test or prove the Holy Spirit against the scriptures written by men. These scriptures (the Bible), some of them inspired by God lead us to FAITH IN JESUS and TRUST in Him, to be led by the Holy Spirit. THOSE WHO ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD THEY ARE THE SONS OF GOD. This (Bible) is not the “inerrant word of God.”
Scriptures, inspired by God, will lead you to God, to obedience to Christ and adoration of Him, not to adoration and elevation of the scriptures themselves. It is about Jesus not about the scriptures.
May Jesus bless you.
