WHY MOST BELIEVERS ARE NOT BORN AGAIN

When man meets up with God he immediately becomes aware of his own sinfulness, his impurity, his inadequacy and he cries out for mercy. As we read in Revelations 20:11 “I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, FROM WHOSE PRESENCE EARTH AND HEAVEN FLED AWAY, AND NO PLACE WAS FOUND FOR THEM.”

When you meet up with Jesus you immediately know that you are unworthy and that you need to be cleansed, you cannot be in his presence, you cry out for mercy and when Jesus comes into your life He forgives you and He makes you a new man. IMMEDIATELY YOU HATE SIN, you don't want to have anything to do with sin! You want to be pure and you want to be holy because you want to be pleasing to Jesus. That is what it means to be spiritually reborn, when you meet up with Jesus.

A person who is born again HATES SIN, HE CANNOT STAND SIN, He just wants to be pure and holy. Many believers have never met Jesus. They have never come to that place where they revolted in themselves and just said:”Lord. Just give me mercy please. Clean me! Lord accept me! Lord have mercy on me!” Many people have never repented, they have never met Jesus. If you have truly met Jesus then you have no business with sin. You have no business with the things of this world,. You just want to be pleasing to the King! He gives you a new heart. He gives you new eyes! He gives you new desires. Many have not experienced that yet, THYE ARE STILL SINNERS! THEY ARE NOT BORN AGAIN!

Some have experienced Jesus but they have gone back to sin, they have gone back to the things of the world as Peter wrote in 2 Peter 2:22 ”It has happened to them according to the true proverb, “A DOG RETURNS TO ITS OWN VOMIT,” and, “A sow, after washing, returns to wallowing in the mire.”

Have you met Jesus? Have you been born again? Did He cleanse you, did He make you new inside so that you only have a desire for the kingdom of God? Jesus said, unless a man is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. If you have seen the Kingdom of God then nothing else matters. You don't want to sin, you are not interested in the things of the world. You only want to please Jesus and be with Him for ever! You WANT to be a child of God, you WANT TO be pure and holy but MOST BELIEVERS HAVE NEVER MET GOD! They never had that experience. They are sinners and THEY ARE LOST! THEY ARE NOT BORN AGAIN!

Dear friend, you need to be born again of water and of Spirit so that you can be changed to become a child of God, so that Jesus can be seen in you and if Jesus is in you then other PEOPLE WILL FEEL THE PRESENCE OF GOD IN YOU. They will not sin in your presence. They will not curse in your presence because they will know that God is in you. Is God in you, or are you in the world? Have you truly been born again? Have you become a child of God or were you never born again? Seek Jesus and ask Him for the new birth, to change you, to make you a child of God so that you have the nature of Christ and that the world can see Jesus in you.
