Salvation is NOT for FREE

Salvation is not free. It is about KNOWING Jesus and following Him. Jesus gives eternal life to those who obey Him. Jesus said:”Whoever wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself pick up his cross and follow Me, every day.” Not many people did that. He called many but very few followed Him. Very few obeyed Him and that is why Jesus said to them:”Why do you call Me Lord, Lord and you do not what I say?”

Many people did not want to be associated with Jesus, even the same today. They don't want to follow Jesus, they don't really want to know Him that well. They deny Him all the time. They say they are Christians but when they have to choose between Jesus and their friends, they choose the friends. When they have to choose between obedience to Jesus, holiness, righteousness, obeying His words then they choose against Jesus. Jesus said:”Whoever denies Me in front of this wicked generation, I will certainly deny him also in front of my Father and His holy angels.” People want salvation, they want to say a sinners prayer and after that they want to have nothing to do with Jesus. They don't spend time with Him, they don't listen to His voice, they don't follow Him. O yes, He does have a voice! He said:”My sheep listen to My voice and they follow Me.” If you want to follow Jesus you need to know His voice. You get to know His voice if you obey Him, because He said that if we obey Him, His words, if we repent, turn to Jesus, turn away from sin, obey Him, then He will reveal Himself to us. YOU NEED TO WALK WITH JESUS TO KNOW JESUS! You need to KNOW Jesus and He needs to KNOW you if you want to have eternal life, and it is NOT FOR FREE.

IT WILL COST YOU! It will cost you in friends, you will be rejected, you will be persecuted, you might get killed. That is the price! You cannot go on sinning, you need to stop sinning and live your life to please Jesus. You have got to be focused on Him all the time and on being pleasing to Him. Are you willing to PAY THAT PRICE? Are you willing to give up your life for Jesus? He gave up His life for us. So if we want eternal life we must give up our life FOR Him and live our life to please Him. That is the price!

Are you willing to pay the price for eternal life? Very few people are willing to do that and very few people will have eternal life because they don't want Jesus. Do you really love Jesus? Then you will have to pay the price, if you want eternal life.
