Christian Bottle Babies

The vast majority of Christian believers are spiritual babes.  They have never developed to maturity.  They remain with the elementary teachings of the Gospel and although by this time they should have known the things that they have heard and read in the Bible and it should have been entrenched in them and they should have been living and obeying those things, that is not the case. They are just going back to the elementary, reading the Bible over and over and never applying it.  As Paul also said to the Corinthians. I read from 1 Corinthians 3:1, He says:  "And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to babes in Christ. I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able," AND HERE IS THE REASON WHY: "3 for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men?” That is the problem with the majority of Christian believers, they are worldly.  They have not left the world behind, they have not started following Jesus Christ.  They are remaining with the elementary teachings and they are not applying that, they are NOT FOLLOWING JESUS CHRIST and they are ready to be CUT OFF.
I also read from Hebrews 6:1-9 “Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of instruction about washings (baptism) and laying on of hands, and the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment. And this we shall do, if God permits. For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame. For ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it and brings forth vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God; BUT if it yields thorns and thistles, it is worthless and close to being cursed, and it ends up being burned.” And that is the situation with the majority of BELIEVERS today. They have not gone passed the elementary.  They know the truth, they not applying the truth, many of them have been baptized in the Holy Spirit, many have experienced Jesus Christ as real but they have fallen back, they have gone back into the world, they have once again CRUCIFIED CHRIST JESUS.  They have turned their back on Him and here the writer of Hebrews says it is IMPOSSIBLE to renew them to REPENTANCE but with God all things are possible.  Dear friend, the message that comes to us is: We must BEAR FRUIT or else we will be CUT OFF.  We must get past the elementary, we must become OBEDIENT children, sons of God.  We cannot keep on being TODDLERS, BABIES who are bottled fed, we’ve got to grow up, be mature and obey Jesus Christ, be led by the Holy Spirit of God.  People keep on going over the Scriptures, over and over and over for ever learning and NEVER coming to the knowledge of the TRUTH.  They NEVER START FOLLOWING JESUS CHRIST.
Have you become a spiritual man in Christ?  Are you LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT? Or are you going back to the elementaries, deceiving yourself, thinking that you are saved but you are close to being CUT OFF and BURNED.  We must wake up dear friends, time is running out.  If we DO NOT BEAR FRUIT, we will be CUT OFF.  We need to GROW UP and be men in Christ.
