OBEY Jesus or you will perish - believing is not enough

Those who do not obey Jesus, will not have eternal life, even if they believed in Him. If we believe in Jesus, then we must obey Him and DO what He said. He said:”Why do you call Me Lord, Lord and you do not what I say?” If Jesus is our LORD, then we must serve Him as LORD and we must OBEY HIM. We read in John 3:36 "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not OBEY the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." We need to OBEY Jesus Christ.

People like to quote other scriptures, they say “Paul said...” and somebody else said... Dear friends, I will tell you what Jesus said, Matthew 15:8 “‘THIS PEOPLE HONORS ME WITH THEIR LIPS, BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR AWAY FROM ME. 9‘BUT IN VAIN DO THEY WORSHIP ME, TEACHING AS DOCTRINES THE PRECEPTS OF MEN.’” They quote other people, they quote other scriptures. Dear friend, the words of life are the words of Jesus, the words that He spoke and those are the words that will judge us. If we do not OBEY those words we will NOT have eternal life as Jesus said, John 12:47,48. “If anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. 48“He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day.“

Dear friend, we will be judged by the words of Jesus. If we do not obey Jesus, we are already judged. If we obey Him and our heart is set on pleasing Him then He justifies us and He give us eternal life. Merely believing in Jesus, is not enough – our heart must be set on Him. We must not just honor Him with our lips and our hearts are far away from Him. We must truly LOVE HIM, and if we love Him we will OBEY Him.

The words of Jesus are recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and those are the WORDS THAT WILL JUDGE US, not the other words, THE WORDS OF JESUS, because He came and He preached the Kingdom of God, He is King, He is Lord, He is Master and WE MUST SERVE HIM AS LORD or else He will not allow us into His Kingdom. Jesus gives eternal life to those WHO OBEY HIM.
